I installed flytampa Tampa and MSE Florida. For some reason my planes are not set at the jet ways correctly. Some are to the left and right of the painted taxi line and yesterday my plane was perpendicular to the jet ways. Some planes were parked in fences and in concrete barriers. I asked support at flytampa and one person replied that if I have my traffic to disable it in the scenery library. Will that disable my Ai traffic? I have my traffic x. Just want to have my airport running correctly not planes all over the place. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

I understand that both program use the same weather source, But for pfpx its only for 1year after that you got to buy another server subscription. So since i have OPUS can i use to provide pfpx the weather data like as2012 ?

My fsx setup with FTX Global, ActiveSky Next(with REX Textures) ENB, and over thousands of dollars in payware is simply beautiful. I own many other sims but fsx truly looks the best and runs great on my 1month old PC. I just want to thank all the fsx devs for making me one happy simmer Happy Holidays Everyone! p.s I purchased AS Next last night and my jaw dropped from the top floor of my house right into the basement, lol. Go buy ASN and be amazed at the beautiful realistic weather/sky. 2013 was a great fsx year!

After an extensive Web Forum search I've been unable to find a cause and solution... so I thought I'd try a post here. My FSX ATC sound is not working in VC. The green text bar scrolls and the speaker level indicator shows activity... but no voice comes through. If I switch to 'Outside View' or open outside view in a New View window... voila... there's the ATC voice. I can close the New View window and the ATC voice will be on in the VC now... until the next time it cuts out. I have P3D v2 loaded on a separate SSD and the ATC voice is doing the same thing as in FSX. ???? Rick / Canada

I don't seem to see anything ongoing related to this pending release. Just wondering if anyone else is watching for this.The preview video has excellent and realistic sounds and seems to perform well in hover and vertical landing to a moving ship.I was hoping for additional variants to the Wilco Harrier but those might come later than this one.http://www.vaafse.org/simskunkhome/

Can I please get some help? I'm looking for the best terrain for FSX. I don't fly GA, mostly tubeliners. FS Global looks interesting. Sorry, got off track. Not looking for best trees, houses, auto gen per se, but looking for best terrain mesh for contours, heights, etc. As far as I understand, orbx global is putting lighting and trees and auto gen buildings in and it looks nice. But is it laying their effects over the default terrain mesh? The stuff orbx is doing in the Pacific Northwest looks awesome, but is it just flopped over default contours? Sorry, not picking on orbx, looks fantastic. How about any other products? What is the new ASN doing, just textures…

So I landed in LIPX today in some really heavy fog, visibility <0.1 km. What surprised me was that the FTX Global lights were perfectly visible while the I couldn't see the runway until being 20 ft above it. This is what I saw at 2.4 DME: And this is what I saw when on the runway The visiblity was of course <0.1 km, so the fact that the runway lights aren't visible at 2.4 DME is probably correct. But when on the runway, is the intensity of the lights really supposed to be that low? I don't even have a clue where the taxiways are. I'm wondering if anyone else has an issue with sweetfx v1.5.1 where upon installing this version I get the fsx screen looking completely dark ink blue and have read that turning on SMAA in the settings file eliminates the problem which it does but in doing so doesn't it mess up the AA? I'm running Steve's DX10 fixer which is fabulous so with all the AA choice's with DX10 to get it right does it mess with it by turning SMAA on in sweetfx, hopeing someone can enlighten me on a fix or just revert back to sweetfx V1.4. I recently saw a pic in the ASN thread with some realistic runway edge lights and approach lighting. Is that a cfg edit I can do? It seemed to be default airport lighting. Mine looks really huge and unrealistic (even with this smaller image)

Just cruising along at FL370 in the NGX over the Indian Ocean between Mauritius and the Maldives. While looking out and admiring how black the sky was. this bright white shooting star zoomed across my windscreen and off into the distance to the left. It actually scares the s**t outta me as I wasn't expecting it. Having used FSX since the start of 09 I have never seen this before.

Hello, I had this issue both with an without V1.008. It may have something to do with my recent attempt to install the DH4 in P3D, though with a new install to FSX I doubt it. This has happened multiple times, and it commences at multiple points. Basically, the aircraft freezes in position for a few seconds, though all else is moving (almost as if in slew mode), and when this freeze stops the airspeed is gone or reduced to near zero, causing stalls and excessively long takeoff runs. We have sent the new installers to the three vendors which provide the Q400 to the simulation community. dt connect 2 pcs after network and folders shared. u need to download the zip file in both machines? if yes in one install DATAPROVIDER and in the other DISPLAY UNIT, if yes the validation key,will work in both machines, how will be activated the program with just one validation key in 2 machines. the guide is not that complete, any help in hot to install it in 2 pcs?

I run FSX SP2 on a Core i7 3770K system with 16 Gb RAM and a AMD ATI HD 7900 under Windows 8.1. I use also REX and FS Global Real Weather and the DX10 Scenery Fixer tool. I use two monitors. The simulator works very well, but unfortunately my screen is split as can be seen on the attached screenshot. Just not clear what I have to do to get rid of the penomenon. Hi guys! I've been getting a some stutters over the last few days and decided to delete my .cfg and re-tweak in hopes that it would help. I've always used Word Not Allowed's guide with very good results. I again, followed his guide but now I'm getting decreased frames and the stutters remain. I've been having very good performance in the PMDG T7 (25-30 in VC) but since this all started a few days ago, I'm pretty much stuck in the mid to upper teens. If I run in windowed mode, I lock at 30. Anyone have any advice or a clue as to what in the world is going on? I'm scratching my head on this one. I'm assuming that I'm looking at a clean install if I can't find a fix. …

As of lately I have been experimenting with trees in FSX, and it appears to have some effect on animated birds (yes the small fluffy ones). At first they froze in mid air. Trying to reset the old settings, they seem to have vanished altogether. Anyone who had the same issue or know a way to reset bird animations? I really never paid much attention to them, but with everything else working nicely it adds another dimension in terms of atmosphere. Yes, I have enabled advanced animations...

After over a year I decided to install FSX and REX Essential Plus back onto my computer to only have very low FPS and ground textures that just doesn't seem right. My settings is set to very high with lots of air and road traffic however when I load FSX up there is no traffic, and a lot of tan/low quality ground textures. Good morning, I have all of the sudden experience a significant decrease in performance plus 1 OOM error and a very close one while landing. Basically when I pan through the cockpit I get choppy movements at times and it happens every time I change views as well and this is new. I only have sceneries that I am flying too enabled, low res clouds (REX), running ASN now (used ASE before), FSInn, and depending on where I am flying VA Acars programs. It happened flying the PMDG 777 (Total OOM) to KDFW (FSDT) and last night with the PMDG NGX (CYVR FSDT). I came close to a OOM with the NGX and that has never happened before. Any ideas? Thanks. Hi. As I am quite new to fly sims I am looking for a modification which will let me to get most out of the default airplanes (especially Boeing, Bombardier and Airbus airliners). I saw the Pmgd 737 which is a masterpiece but the learning curve seems to be as real as it is IRL and this is a bit too much for me. I don't have that much time to sacrifice. So are there any good passenger jets addons (freeware would be best because I bought Rex, ftx global, gex and accufeel lately and I am out of cash ) which will help with immersion and realism? I probably hold the record here in this forum with the most inquiries as to how to solve FSX Problems. I have a Windows 7 Home Edition on my shelf that has never been used on this computer, it's eleven months old( can't remember if it was used on my old one ), but one way or the other I'm getting Windows 7.
