Hello all Following my recent migration to FSX, I am trying to re-connect ASE on an XP client machine, FSX being installed on the W7 server machine. I have never had so many problems trying to connect a programme. However I am where I am and I would like very much if someone could help. I have been in contact with HI-Fi regarding this but the network configuration is beyond their scope of assistance. I have the Deluxe version of FSX. I have installed a.msi file on to the client machine. I have a the SimConnect file in the FlightSimulatorFilesX folder. I cannot find the SimConnect.ini file anywhere. Hi! I recently flew on this cute little aircraft between Copenhagen and Berlin and I instantly fell in love with it. Is there any good version done for FSX? I found one over at Aerosoft, but I think I remember having red some quite negative reviews of it... Can anyone give some advice? Thanks!

I recently bought this product "Cenareal Pantanal Wetlands" but it doesnt display correctly after install in FSX acceleration . Has anyone successfully used this scenery product? I have tried everything I can think of to get it to display in FSX but the scenery tileas are jumbled with default areas. Hey guys! After quite some time i had to reinstall FSX today. With the installation finished, i tried to activate FSX online, but it says that there is no connection possible. Is there anyone else having problems with it? Are their activation servers shut down finally? Best regards, Tom

I finally did it and now I know I am addicted to FSX. I bought the Milviz Stuka 10 days ago and just discovered it in my downloads folder. I completely forgot about it and subsequently never installed it. I am too involved with too many different addons in FSX that I lost track of a plane I bought and never installed.

Now with P3Dv2.1 out I prefer to fly in full screen mode using Opus weather. When I call up the weather in full screen mode the weather dialogue box is oversized and obstructs the view with no way to resize it. In windowed mode this is not the case. Is there any way to shrink the size of the weather dialogue box in full screen mode?

Hello. I just got new Saitek flight controls and for some reason I feel the panning in the virtual cockpit is kinda slow/choppy/stuttery. Also, the spot plane view outside the airplanes is really slow to move around. (in my opinion) Is there some way I can edit a CFG file or something, somewhere to make it aalot better/faster? Thanks!

Afternoon to all who read, Again this topic is another one that's been posted and discussed so many times but I'm still unable to come to a decision on what I should do. I've read people using DX10 are getting better FPS which in my opinion I don't need as my FSX runs fine as it is. I'd like to know a simple thing of - does it actually improve quality? I'd like to know how easy it is to install if I was to use the DX10, I think I need the 'SteveFX - DX10 Fixer' for it to work but again I'm still unsure. And finally, what about add-on scenery and aircraft, how do they handle DX10, are they able to function just as good as the DX9 normal preset? If pos…

I just converted a bunch of 32 bit textures from a new scenery to DXT5... From what I've read having a scenery with a lot of 32 bit textures greatly increases VAS... Have any of you gone through your FSX folder and converted any large 32 bit textures to DXT5 format and has it made any significant difference concerning VAS levels? What would be the easiest way to go through ones FSX folder and find all of the 32 bit textures in all of the different folders, including those of AI AC? Thanks!

Looks like this has been beat to death but I am asking from a slightly different angle. Is there a list of what parking spot is where on any given airport? Once in a while it would be nice to say where GA RAMP SPOT 6 actually IS. That way if I am starting a flight from what I think is Signature in RW airports it would be nice if I knew what gates or ramp spots are where. Im not interested in what ATC does with me or my AI. I simply would like a list if there is such a thing of what number is where on any given airport. Thanks.

I have about a dozen entries in my FSX profile for NVIDIA Inspector 1.9.7.2 The titles are all in Hex -- like this > 0x00000040, and the Settings Values are a mixture of hex, numeric, and words. Are these supposed to be there, and if not, how do I get rid of them? Thanks.

I'm kind of surprised that nobody has commented on this outstanding British classic here. I just can't leave it alone at the moment. I saw a video recently that explained the right and wrong way to do an engine out landing and attempting the same in FSX is a pretty interesting experience. For those that are most interested in the cockpit, getting to grips with the old fashioned autopilot is great and the artwork is about as good as I've ever seen.

I am facing a complete reinstall of my FSX. This is not voluntary--FSX tanked. I have long used an older set of FSGenesis mesh with good results, however I am wondering whether I need to move on to FSGlobal 2010 mesh. I do not need the entire world but am wondering if it is perhaps not more cost effective to just go ahead and pop for the whole deal. Comments? Isn't FSGlobal recommended by the mavens at Orbx?

Afternoon All, Just something simple and quick. I'd like to purchase the MyTraffic X Professional 5.4C and also the Flight 1 Audio Environment to enhance the sounds of the AI. Now does the Audio from Flight 1 work with the traffic add-on? I've read 'AI Traffic sounds are compatible with all the popular AI Traffic packages: Ultimate Traffic 2, Ultimate Traffic 2007, My Traffic X, MyTraffic 2010, Traffic X and of course the FSX default AI traffic.'
