Hi, This randomly and suddenly appeared a few days back for no real reason. "There are multiple objects with the same title name. They must have unique title names. Maule M7 260C SimObjects\Airplanes\Maule_M7_260C" This is the standard FSX Maule I gather, I have not intalled any new textures or modified it in any way. If I open \Airplanes there is only one Maule_M7_260C (plus a separate ski one). If I go into \airplanes\Maule_M7_260C there are no duplicated texture files. Any ideas how I can get rid of this very irritating error? Thans FL630

We moved the Crash to Desktop (CTD) and 'All About Us' sub-forums to the AVSIM Fixed Based Operations (FBO) Section today. It will make it easier for members to locate the CTD Forum and allow members to post crashes not only while using FSX but any flightsim. Is it really necessary to have UTX enabled when using ORBX Global? If UTX is not used, what else must be used for a complete visual experience? I question this, because I have both products and I get Scenery errors if I disable UTX. Since I'm awaiting a new computer (being built now), I want to install ONLY the necessary scenery addons for the best experience. Stan

Hey i just bought ASN And i decided that i won't buy Ezdok since i have Opus. So i gave it a try but i only get shaking on ground. I feel like Opus Live Camera is not reading the weather correctly. Maybe it has to do with the sequence that i open the programs at. I first load my flight and then i open Opus-->Disable Live Weather-->Open ASN. Please Help Thanks Daniel

Hi all! I have searched for this and found a number of posts relating to VCRain and copying files from FS9 to FSX but I was wondering if I really need to?. Recently, I was sat at my local airport in the rain in the stock C172 and noticed rain drops on my windshield, which looked cool. But, ever since then, I have not been able to duplicate this, I have not copied any files (though I will if I need to) and was just curious if this was an obscure feature I had enabled unknowingly and have since lost or whether I was just seeing things! Hi all! I just thought I would post here as a last resort as I have a problem preventing me flying. Whenever I go beyond taxiing speed, my Cessna 172 pulls violently to the left or right causing me to be blown off the runway!. I am using REX Essentials for weather and textures but I have made sure to disable the wind options in REX for now until I get more experienced and fancy a challenge! :-) I have disabled turbulence in FSX as it states in the REX manual and cannot understand why I keep getting blown off the runway!. This is obviously preventing me from flying (which I really want to do!). Any help or advice would be much appreciated, please don't…

I fly mainly in the Southern California area since it was what I was familiar with in RW flying. I thought it would be handy to create a SoCal group in SCE rather than select 20 or so individual airport sceneries. I successfully created the group in SCE and checked the newscenery.cfg file and everything looks correct. My question is this: How does one add the newly created group to the FSX Scenery Library? I clicked "add area" but I didn't know where to find the SoCal group I had created. Thanks in advance for your collected wisdom. Slim

New to FSX sim flying. Have been unable to have the glide slope picked up when attempting an ILS approach. I get the horizontal locator and can fly that to the designated runway but never get glide slope data. I have confirmed the proper setting in nav 1. Please what am I missing. Flying the 172 (non G1000).

Hello, Does anyone know how to use Sweetfx and Enb together? (Dx9 mode, and I use FlightFx to configure sweetfx.) The problem is that when I install the d6d9.dll file into the FX directory it replaces the Sweetfx d6d9.dll Thanks in advance. B.

I have seen a lot of repaints for Manfred Jahn's C-47 Version 2 for FSX. For the life of me, I have searched and searched for the original plane, version 2 model and I can't seem to find it. Can someone please help me by either providing a download filename or location/link of where I find this plane? There seems to be a lot of repaints for this plane which look really good.

Hi guys I need to increase the FOV to use the walpalizer software with my projector thats allows me to use a curved screen and curving the picture from only one projector ,which aviod using of 3 projectors with its performance hitting..... I need more view when decrease the zoom of the view when i select the (-) button in my keyboard (i am not talken about virtual cockpit view). Hi Guys, Have had to reformat my HD after fine-tuning my FSX system since 2010 and I"m wondering which add-ons I should reload and which I should forget. Just before the computer t.a.p. (took a poop) I was having some elevation problems between some ORBX scenery (alaska) and some of my previous add ons. What I had installed was the following: FS Genesis Mesh Ultimate Terrain X (UTX) Ultimate Alaska Ground Environment X (GEX) Real Environment Extreme Overdrive All ORBX North America scenery areas and many individual airports Vancouver Glacier Bay Tongas Fiords Plan G Etc. hi, for some reason the local tim and the gmt time is off by an hour, the local time was 1415 and the GMT time said 2015, but at that local time the GMT is sapost to be 2115 not 2010. whats going on and can it be fixed?

Are there any new turboprops in development for FSX at the moment? I've taken a break from the simming world, spending time with my grandmother who has some health complications, I've wondered about a revised ATR for FSX, or probably a Q300 since 2012, I've done searches but haven't been able to get any answers. Hi I have just completed two flights to two completely different destinations and on both occasions the ILS approach was completely misaligned with the runways. These approaches should be aligned with the runways (I have checked the charts) and I have never had any problems before until today. Its as though my scenery or approaches have completely misaligned overnight :(. Any ideas? Thanks

Hi, after evenings of programming I would like to announce my new project FSXstarter. FSXstarter allows to define start options with an individual configuration profile of fsx.cfg and scenery.cfg. In addition it provides an RUN section to define an individual set of programs to start or file operations (copy, delete or rename).
