I'm totally new to flying jets and I've been wondering about the elevator trim in the Epic Victory. I only see a switch that can be switched on and off, but no trim wheel, no setting indicator or anything that gives me any clue to how this works in this aircraft. My trim wheel does get response, but very coarse, so I'm not sure if it is indeed connected to the right control function. Can someone please explain how trimming this aircraft works?

I just downloaded manual to a2a Cessna as I am currently for a plane which will "breathe" with me. My basic question - is the learning curve harsh and is manual covering everything I might encounter in terms of failures, preflight checks and so on? I learned VOR to VOR navigation on default Cessna, what I am worried most is the complexity of whole system in a2a simulation. Are there any additional, non YouTube tutorials (PDF preffered) which may be helpful?

I have noticed when My Saitech Throttle is closed my planes want to roll while parked. My Eaglesoft Citation is the worst, it wants to run. I do have FUISPC 4 and tried to fix it there , but with no luck.Can someone show me the way in a step by step explanation in how to fix this ?

Saw this reviewed in PC Pilot, does anyone use it? What planes are supported (I need it as a stopgap for the PMDG 777 until FS2Crew comes out).

Hi guys, I initially bought AS 2012. Some days ago I purchased the ASN and then also the REX 4 textures. At the moment I am planning my flight in ASN (I am using it as my weather engine) then close it and open REX 4 choose the textures i want, load them and start FSX. From my point of view I do not need to open and do anything in AS2012 anymore as long as I want to install some specific graphics or so (which actuallly I dont know what happens if I install here a texture and then afterwards a similar one in REX4...) Does some of you are are still using AS2012 after purchasing ASN and using textures from REX4?

Dear all, ohh..I ve just finished loooooong post and it is lost...hmm..fine No matter that. I ve got problem with das, I simply lost all controls after cca 20 minutes from loading the plane. sometimes it happens on the ground, sometimes in flight. When it happens all the controls still physicly works outside the plane (FSUIPC registered its movement) but nothing works in the plane (I ve got yoke, throttles and rudder pedals)...it happens also yestrday I lost controls in flight and plane started to spin with great loss of fps (I have stable 30fps limited but in the spin it goes to comething lime 1-5fps). Dear All, I would like to ask if any of you experienced the same problem. I bought Majestic Dash and it looks and feels great. I am also using registered FSUIPC especialy for setting up the controls. When I fly Dash I usualy lost all controls after cca 10-20 minutes. Yesterday I started from airport, fly few minutes and suddenly no controls works...so the plane spins and crash with great loss of fps. I don´t have these problems with any other addon. I am not sure if the fps problem is somehow connected, but I guess it is not. I recently reinstalled FSX after a break that lasted no less than four years. I constantly found myself tweaking more than flying. Not so in 2013. FSX is an all new beast, enabled by improvements in hardware and some all new efficient tweaks. I was basically able to reinstall FSX and instantly get a cool, steady 30 fps regardless of where I fly. This is how you do it. The airport ground textures shown on the posts here and the REX website look like nice upgrades to the stock FSX. The claim is that they replace all the "stock" airports. Jon Masterson's ADE has allowed us to improve airports dramatically--taxiways, aprons, buildings, etc,etc. But the taxiway/apron/runways/etc textures are stlll basic FSX. The addition of their GPE is a bonus, but it's a labor (of love)... Does anyone know if the REX4 graphics can replace these ADE modified airports, or it just the unaltered FSX originals?? Can the ADE generated .bgl files be upgraded with these graphics? I suspect the answer is no, but can't find the answer after searchin…

Hey guys, is there away to turn AI off and on in fsx.I have ut2 and i love this feature, what i don;t like is the way my airports are always so empty with ut2, so i was looking into my traffic 2013, but as far as i know you can;t just turn it off and on without going into the fsx options, I just use AI for ambiance during preflight and taxi, and after i land, other then that its just a pain in the butt. Any suggestions

What tweaks/mods should i be using such as Nvidia inspector settings for my current setup?If someone could help me out that would be great. Hello everyone, I've had a problem with the runways in use for Aerosoft's Amsterdam Schiphol X for a good long time now. It seems that WHATEVER the weather only rwy's 9/27 and 36C/18C are in use. Now having been to EHAM many times before I know this is not the case. On one instance I landed on RW24 and rotated on the Polderbaan on my return leg. I'm blaming the AFCAD file really. Its kind of annoying considering I'm based their with my virtual airline. Any solutions? Cheers!

Is there any way to utilize a keyboard command to toggle the default FSX ATC sound on/off? The reason I ask: I use Radar Contact for all my IFR flights. And I have the ATC turned off in menu/options. Otherwise, I will hear the FSX ATC controllers speaking on top of the RC controllers. But there are occasions when (as in real life) I want to cancel IFR and fly the remainder of my flight via VFR flight rules. Since the current version of RC does not handle VFR traffic, when I cancel IFR, I have to momentarily disrupt my flight in progress and access the ATC sound option in the main menu and turn it back on. I'm wondering if there might be a way to accomplis…

Okay, I've never come across this before, but my aircraft movement intermittently freezes quite randomly.Whether taxiing or flying it simply stops moving for about two seconds as if it's run into a wall but then resumes its normal speed. Just thinking out loud here... we are now into FSX's eighth year and we still don't have a decent native 747 Classic. We still don't have a decent native DC-10. We've only recently got a native DC-8 (albeit the early 10-40 series). It seems in the FS world that popular aircraft that are missing from the developers' catalogues seem to appear in twos or threes all of a sudden over a relatively short timeframe - see the King Air, 737-200 and Tristar. Anyone willing to make a bet that when we finally do get a new 747 Classic or DC-10 we end up with two or three on the market in the space of a year?
