I have used bojote"s auto tweaking tool and everything has worked but it set an affinity mask of 84 and when I run fsx basically only core #2 is working at 100% and the other three are barely doing anything. Is this supposed to be like this even with an affinity mask or do I have the wrong affinity mask set because I am getting good fps with almost maxes out graphics with an add-on plane in add-on airport but if I could get all the cores to work it would be even better.

Hey everyon, again looked for some helpful responses on these questions but no luck, hoping someone could answer: 1) elevator press on my alarm menu is always on before takeoff, how do you remove that? 2) with the PMDG you can save your panel state, say ready for taxi, how can you do this on the dash 8? Is there any way to make these stop? Especially the music. I know you can stop the music by closing the door, but ... as much as I like classical music (I actually really do) - the airline I will be simulating (Qantaslink/Eastern/Sunstate) does not play music for boarding. (one other airline I have flown with IRL (they only have A320's) plays 'the local radio station' during boarding, not classical music). I'v figured out how to trigger Cabin announcements from the FMS, but I just want to get rid of that music, preferably forever, mostly for the realism factor of the airline I'm simulating.

On 19L of MK Studio's KSNA, AI Traffic keeps landing on that runway. The problem is, the runway is closed, I think. Here are a couple of screenshots of that Airports AFX_KSNA.BGL Runway and Pattern properties. Oh yeah, they sometimes land short in parking lot "C".

Hi folks, So I downloaded SP3 last night and installed it. I did not know the patch contained the full installer. As a result, I didn't uninstall the previous version first. I basically installed SP3 over the previous version. Is this OK? Should I uninstall and just re-install SP3 only? Oh yeah, just one last question... When I start my flights, I turn on the APU and shut the engines off to give me a "before engine start" state. When I'm on pushback and getting my engines started, I don't hear the safety announcement. All the other announcements are working fine. Anybody know how to get the safety announcement working? Hello, Well I'm installing AI again to FSX.... had to start from scratch a few months ago and I am installing everything manually to keep an overview so I can replace aircraft and/or repaints better when needed. Anyway here is the problem.... I just installed Garuda Indonesia and that's where I got the potential bad news. Hi,For some reason the default 'Previous Flight' has disappeared and it doesn't get created again, I always have that flight loaded default to pick up where I last left FS but now when that saved file isn't there anymore I can't do that.I tried saving a flight with the same name 'Previous Flight' but of course that will only take me to where I saved that flight instead of where I last left FS.Anyone seen this or know how to have FSX create the real 'Previous Flight' again?TIA,

Hi Guys I've been away from the sim for several months and am just getting back into the swing. When I left, I had everything set up perfectly just how I liked it. And now, although nothing in my hardware or software setup has changed, I get a problem with the view in the sim. Basically, whenever I'm static on the ground, everything is fine. Then as soon as I start to move, whether taxi-ing or trying to take off, the view starts juddering like crazy, like it's constantly alternating between two views. I have a problem with flight plan loading. I put my flight plan into nav/routes folder. When I switch FMC to FPL page flight plan is shown, but when I enter the number 01, nothing happens. I have only one flight plan, so I tried entering '1' and '01' nothing works. What is wrong ?

I've followed all of the guides out there, trying to figure out how to get rid of the texture shimmering and occasional building texture flashes. I've ensured my settings for nvidia inspector match, and same for the fsx.cfg. My system: i5 4670k,, 16GB RAM, 760 GTX, WIN-7 64 BIT Latest NVIDIA drivers. Using FSX Opus and REX texture direct. I can't stop the shimmering no matter what AA I set in nvidia inspector. Specifically the auto-gen (shimmer/flash/blinking/etc) please help!!! I'm so close to having FSX run how I want it to. Thanks

Anyone know how to re-install the FSX default textures after you installed Orbx scenery? Thanks to all who reply. Bill

What I would like to do is to be able to select "Enable TrackIR Device" in OpusFSX without starting OpusFSX before starting TrackIR and FSX. I often times will start FSX just to check something or fly without my headset and it is a bit of pain to select an deselect TrackIR in OpusFSX as needed. Maybe a switch after the OpusFSX.exe?

I've been experiencing some occasional FSX random CTD's and realized I never installed this program. I'm not interested in any of the functions it provides but have heard it may help with certain CTD's? If installation is a must... Can this be installed and will it not override my weather and joystick controls? Thanks!

I just reinstalled my copy of FSX\Gold into my Medion computer which came back from repairs now for the 4th time. It all went well until i loaded FSX and then realized the cursor turns Black when the sim loads passed 90% and stays Black after that. I don't know what Medion has done to it as the repair report is very poor,it went for repairs for ahardware issue with the USB but they seem to have formatted the HD ( This is not specified)! I was told by a Medion supporter to untick Automatic Updates ??? Can anyone help? Much appreciated Berlopez

Hello everyone, I am wondering how i would install flightplans on WOAI aircraft. For example: I Download an AIR FRANCE pack on WOAI, however the flight schedule is from 2007 and i want an updated version because i want them to have lots of A380's like they do now. Hi all, I'm not sure if this has been posted somewhere else but I my PMDG 900's buttons are not clickable. My 800 works just fine. I'v already tried reinstalling but it still wont work. Any suggestions? Help?
