I did some short research on this topic moments ago. So Standard edition is well original dated release, and you must patch it with SP1 + SP2, and Acceleration above all, or only Acceleration. Quote from wikipedia: One thing that is confusing me is Grumman G-21-A Goose. On Wiki it says that model comes only with Deluxe version or Acceleration pack. I'm quite sure that I saw Grumman on standard edition which I have. Anyway I must put a question mark to a stability or perfomance issue with all three versions. Some say that standard + Acceleration works best, some say Deluxe, and some say Gold with Acceleration pack. Anyone have maybe an experience with Standard …

I have seen World of AI planes fall from the sky and crash, but does anyone know if planes from Ultimate Traffic 2 or MyTraffic 2010 do the same? Also where do the crashes usually happen in the game? (example: near what airport or location and with which airline or aircraft and if it happens in WoAI, UT2, MT2010, or any other AI proram.)

Hi! I'm having troubles with my FSX fps. I can get over 120 fps in Battlefield 4 on high graphics and over 80 on ultra. But still in FSX I get under 30 specially when recording with fraps. I have done all kinds of tweaks but they don't help alot. My specs are: CPU: Amd Fx 8350 @ 4.8Ghz GPU: Asus Matrix 7970 Ram Corsair Vengeance 1866mhz SSD(wich contains fsx and os): Samsung 840 Pro HDD(wich contains fraps and I save the recordings on it) WesternDigital Caviar Blue 500gb. My os is windows 8Pro 64bit. How can I get better fps? Thank you, Henri

So I have EZCA and when I switch to Aircraft view on my Airbus X, I see only a white cockpit - no plane. I figured out that when you switch to aircraft view, I was in VC view (FSX Virtual Cockpit no EZCA). But when I switch to Spot (Again FSX default view), I go into edit mode but I can't move in any direction (same thing with Locked Spot) Over all that, if I restart FSX EZCA won't save it that I was in Spot view. Please help guys! Thanks in advance!!

Today I found out, about the hotfix and installed it. For sure it helepd with the turbelence thing, which I think was a little bit to much before. BUT it seems to make something with the range of the navaids. I only get DME readings now at around 30 miles from the VOR. Before the hotfix this was not an issue, or at least I could read them around 100 miles out. I can see that someone hava mentioned this in a post about the hotfix in the Majestic Forum, anyone knows if this is something they working on to correct?.As I understand it, the Dash do not read navaids from the Afcads, instead it takes the navaids out of the navdata installed. After many request and the release of Nightlighting for Belgium I re-uploaded the scenery. It consists of 1mp photo scenery for Belgium and Luxembourg ( Brussels 0.5mp ). Many autogen trees and some objects have been placed on top of it by Dominique Dziedziczak an dmyself. Also new Afcad files for all default airports I suggest to use Mega Airport BrusselsX and Luik EBLG ( freeware : Thibault Dosunmu ) with it. HI I already asked to Aerosoft forum but no luck I have Trondheim and UTX Europe It happen on winter, mostly on final, no matter which runways you use you can even see the tower and then FSX freeze and the only option is to kill it in Task manager. I have set HIGHMEMFIX=1, I did also check the texture folder with dxtfixerx as suggested on other thread in the AE support forum I also disabled UTX Europe but no change. Is there anyone experience this and found a fix? Tank's for any hint.

I have a Dell(XPS one 27) 16GB Ram, 3.iGHZ It has 2 display drivers(Intel HD 4600)and Nvidea GT 750M The settings(customize) only shows the Intel driver. I believe the Nvidea is needed for optimum fsx Scenery is choppy, with many different polygons, lots of black terrain, just horrible with the Intel driver

Revisiting an older question:: After reinstallinf FSX ( 2hr 17min) Continued with a Free Flight selection, after changing aircraft to a PMDG NGX I noticed the aircraft displayed was only partially built. Continuing anyway, the glare sheild never did activate the codition of instruments nor did the external view This has all happened after my PC has been to the PC Doctor for cleaning. Thanks for ant comments I am anticipating reloading FSX Acel but am hesitating for this correction

Couldn't activate FSX Acceleration after loading FSX ok from a fresh reinstall of windows7. Read some of your posts on the issue of activation and then went back to uncheck the compatible mode in the FSX exe icon then the Acceleration activation work fine. I worked with Microsoft on the activation issue and they were no help. I will certainly give attention to the compatibility mode when dealing with activation error issues. Can someone post a link or links to the site or sites with updated navaid data for FSX? Is there just updated navaid (VOR's, NB's, etc.) for FSX or are there other updates available? I think that I am finally ready to give this a try.

Okay so I have just re-installed FSX on my new computer running windows 7. I also have REX essentials plus overdrive installed. I have loaded up FSX and the clouds where big squares and if I climbed above the clouds all clouds would disappear. I have tried re-installing FSX many times but they won't go away. Please help.

Flying FSX with acceleration and all the services packs etc, Nvidia graphics card, frames locked at 30fps and no stuttering but I still seem to get Vsync "tearing". I am using Nvidia inspector to handle graphics with the FSX profile in use. I know nothing about where to even begin with Vsync.

Anyone have this lighting thing on their scenery? I've tried gaining access to their forum but they never sent me the info back to start a new post... Hello Everyone, I hope your all well. I am wondering if it is possible to make downloadable textures compatible with other aircraft. I wan't to have the "Black Swan" livery. It was made for the ASA C172 aircraft and i wan't to know if it is possible to make it compatible with the deafult C172 already in the game as i don't want to pay for the ASA C172. A2A Cessna 172 with accusim is my ultimate plane now. I didn't expect it but finally I got a feeling of really OWNING a plane. So my question is - are there any other accusim style planes on the market? I am interested in civilian aircrafts and nothing else from A2A offer suits my needs (piper cub is too small and short ranged and Stratocruiser requires much work and is not something I'd like to have in near future). What I mean is - does any other company made an aircraft when you can influence so many things, work on it in maintenance hangar or stuff like that?

I have been using Nvidia shadowplay for recording fsx and its been great but after I installed ezdok I have noticed that the status indicator has disappeared also the frame size has gone from 1080x1920 to 1080x950...anyone know whats happened?

After a lengthy break from fsx im back and loving it however i am doing some hops in my a2a p51 stang started off at Edinburgh and landed in lots of airports what im looking for is a program that will log all my landings on a map that i can go look at and see where i have been a example of this is plan g moving map when it shows a pink line from your departure airport is there any way i can do this and it will keep tracking my fligts and displaying it on a map.
