Hi, When I used FS2004/FS9, I know Pete Dowson's FSUIPC had options to set the maximum visibility at different altitudes. After installing FSUIPC on FSX, I don't see these options and have had a look around - it seems it's not offered in FSX. I currently use OPUS FX for my WX engine and was wondering if there are any settings (inside or outside of OPUS) that allowed me to set maximum visibility to enhance realism. Daniel

I am surprised I couldn't find any mention of this previously. So I am wondering if I have got something wrong. In the Baron (or indeed any G1000 default aircraft) the autopilot doesn't follow the G1000 altimeter, but it seems to follow the standby altimeter instead. If I set the airfield pressure or standard pressure on the G1000 the autopilot ignores the altitude showing on the G1000 and climbs to that showing on the standby gauge! If I change the pressure on the G1000 obviously the altitude shown changes, but the autopilot doesn't climb or descend the aircraft. Only if I then set the pressure on the standby does it move the aircraft I am flying using Radar Contact…

Seeing as their website is down (and has been for days). Anyone willing to upload/share the building crash fix patch that is/was on their website? I think it is called "AICM-UPD1.1.exe" but I could be wrong. They did post a fix on their facebook page but it is not the one that fixes building crashes (it only adds winter textures). So again, if anyone is willing to share this patch seeing as T2G seem to be having trouble.

While flying my default Lear after about two hours on auto pilot, the ailerons and elevator don't work. The rudder still works. I have the latest drivers. Any ideas? I haven't tried another plane yet.

I'm using an AIRAC cycle from I think late 2012 or early 2013 (this is because I downloaded charts for around 80 airports from Navigraph, and I want to use the charts I have and not replace them all with a new cycle) I've noticed a strange problem when I try and use LEMD (Madrid Barajas) in the FMC When I enter LEMD as my destination, I get the following error message in the FMC: Then when I try to select an approach runway and STAR for LEMD, I get nothing in the FMC whatsoever. Afternoon All, Im having a problem with my FSX at the moment where it dosent seem to want to run any addons like FSUIPC, FS dreeam teams Coutl And GSX just too name a few. I have one addon that is running correctly and thats EZDOK, And the only thing i can think of is because EZDOK isnt installed to my Program Files X86 Folder. When i run ASN ( Active Sky next ) I get this message : ASN Cannot control ambient weather parameters correctly, thus it cannot function properly at this point in time and will now shut down. So I'm at 28,000 ft and I hit a huge weather shift that knocks the aircraft around and the temperature rises to +44C. My speed begins to drop and so does my altitude. I have real world weather set but there's no way that real world temperature is that high at that altitude. My settings are pretty much default. As I right this the temperature is dropping and it looks like it will figure itself out but what would cause that?

Considering this for next purchase. Anyone out there know if their are any multi monitor issues ? Made a couple of purchases recently that were unusable due to vc being non existent when using 3 monitors Cheers

I am noticing some "blank" airports when flying high above using certain scenery addons. For example, I am using Aerosoft Mega Airport Munich X, after taking off and viewing surrounding airports I notice they are missing buildings and objects. Shouldn't it use the default FSX ones to draw in these missing details? The same problem also happens in MegasceneryX Hawaii, but this time none of the airports have buildings. I have tried reordering my scenery list and putting it at the beginning but it doesn't fix it. Anyone else know how I may be able to fix it?

Hello guys I bought the concorde X of flight sim labs and i have problems because of my few hours on this plane. 1- How calibrate the INS on the flight? (the manuel isn't very easy at this point for me and im french and there a very few tutorial in french... 2- Slow down the concorde is a big challenge, i begin my deceleration about 300nm of the airport but i coming to fast and i have a 250kt below 10 000ft restriction 3-To make sure, how do you enter this lat/lont in the INS system? Hi, So there I am, flying along in FSX, minding my own business, when all of a sudden FS minimizes and I'm staring at my desk top. This normally happens several times during a session and not just in FS either but any program that I run while in Full Screen. It's driving me crazy! Especially when it happens while I'm on short final! Has this happened to anyone else? Any ideas? Thanks,

Trying to figure out if I enabled this by mistake and would appreciate a point in the right direction. This is just a really, really ugly cloud deck and I'd like to disable it.

Using Vector at FSdreamteam Dallas. When I call GSX for things almost all vehicles are in the ground. When I pan around my plane starts drifting away from where it is parked;and when I jump to VC view: there is a huge rock in my way. This is all while using FTX Vector. So I switched to UTX and still all vechiles were in the ground but the huge rock and panning issue was fixed. But with UTX and Dallas. Some AI Aircraft are half way into the ground. I have not tried re installing the airport but all my airports are above all add on scenery entries.

Is anyone aware of a reasonable scenery or AFCAD for Panama City MPTO. I would like to do some flights from the US down there. Any help would be appreciated. Barra

Hi All, So today I tried to use the E-Jets 195 V2 on FSX and when I change view the plane will bounce. This has happened with the Wilco Airbus Evolution Vol 1, and on that I had to change the static aircraft value. Is anyone able to tell me there static aircraft values for this plane and the contact points so that I can compare them to the values and alter mine if necessary? From all the searching I've done it suggests that it comes down to one of these 2 factors and people suggest trial and error, but my knowledge of .cfg files and where I would need to start in terms of trial and error is limited! Hiya In what seems to be a vain attempt to find something that replicates turbulence well, my latest purchase is the Accu Feel add on by A2A. I have REX Essentials and FS Global Real Weather as my weather engines, the latter being the better imo! Both of the above suggest turning Turbulence off in FSX My test is the standard Cessna, at Gatwick on Feb 14th Weather as that was pretty damn bad !! Levelled off at 2500ft and was getting bits and bobs of turbulence, expected more at 60+knts !!! I then turned ON accu feel and had the settings for turbulence to 95% on all apart from clear air as I hear there is an issue with that. There was absolutely no …

Flying along doing great finally after years, everything is good and smooth...then BAM! "Thank you for trying Microsoft Flight Simulator X The trial time limit has expired Please activate Flight Simulator to continue playing." Nice, huh? No means of reactivating that I can see, repeatably gives this message after 30 minutes. What I have read on MS site looks convoluted and dangerous. Anyone had this issue and lived?

Hi! I'm having some problems with DHM stopping randomly. It seems to work fine from the start, (taxiing, take-off, cruise), but when I start the descent it usually suddenly stops after a little while (I can move the cameras with the keyboard shortcuts again.) Sometimes it starts again and works for the rest of the flight while other times it starts again and works for a little while, stops again, starts again etc. Using the stop and start functions from the menu doesn't do anything and there doesn't seem to be any errors in any logs. I'm using Prepar3D v2.1 and AXE. I didn't notice this problem in Prepar3D v2.0. Any suggestions?
