These days we have a good choice of PAX/Cargo operations with career add ons for FSX - FSPassengers, FSCaptain, AirHauler. Next to come - SimAir and AirHauler 2, and maybe some add-on I'm missing. I first started my virtual pilot career in FSPassengers, flew 30-40 flights (which is a lot considering that I fly once/twice a week), my airline did fine, and I was progressing good. Then I made a pause, flew some GA mostly. Year ago I bought FSCaptain, and started new career of course. Did about 20-30 flights with a thought "this rules, I will never get back to FSPassengers!". hi guys,there is this bloody annoying house at YSSY that whenever i fly the PMDG 747 she always clips her right wingtip on the house when i head out to rwy 34L. does anyone know if i cant erase this house from the autogen?heres a screenshot:cheers

Hi all! This has been talked about before but none of them have really had am answer! Recently picked up the MD80 as for I am adding MD80 routes for my virtual airline and I bought the Flight 1/Cool Sky Super 80 Pro when I configure the waypoints into my FMC and activate them like I do in the PMDG NGX however when I hit the NAV button it goes to heading hold. And when I push it again it goes to NAV CAP and instantly goes back to HDG HOLD please help! When I hit the FMS overide it does nothing! I dont like configuring the whole FMC i just tune in the VS and speed hold which I do in the NGX and it works fine! Please help I need to fly this this week! What dsoes the FMS…

I've updated to the latest hotfix 2B and now the aircraft refuses to fly level. Maybe I'm missing something completely obvious, although I can't imagine what. The image below shows the problem with autopilot selected LNAV and Yaw Damper on. If I turn off the autopilot, the aircraft immediately drops the right wing and rolls unless manually stopped. Any suggestions?

Hi all... Seem to be posting quite a lot of problems here at present, but keep bumping in to them after moving to W& and my re-build of FSX. Basically,. I used the really good kw_b732_panel_project.zip ... This is available at another place :blush: It worked a treat in my XP Kittyhawk B737-200's in FSX. Hello to all the aviation people out there! Well, I have recently bought Rex essentials + OD, etc, etc. When I customize a theme, I saved it as "WONDERFUL." Once I did that, I installed the theme. Then, it prompted me with the "Would you like to fly now?" screen and I clicked yes. When I went into my simulator and started a flight with my plan loaded and my PMDG 737 NGX ready, no textures loaded. The clouds were default, the water was plain, my sky had none of my custom texture(s) added to it. Can anyone please tell me how I can resolve this? what fsx addons i should buy i just got 60 bucks. I like to fly airliners already have pmdg 737 ngx but i haven't looked into scenery addons.

I was wondering if anyone might have an answer for a radio problem ? I have lost voice with all the radios in all the a/c in FSX. When tuning a frequency the words will stream across the screen but there is no sound. The other sounds such as the VOR and ADF morris code are there but nothing from the comm radios.

After a time all my scenery goes fussy no detail I have to refresh scenery any ideas why this happens??? Thanks for any help

I've just moved from XP to windows 7...and very scary it was too. :Praying: Managed to install FSX no problem..seems to be running OK...Until I decided to do the following: I'd saved all my AI AC in an external drive ready for putting back once I was up and running.....In my old system, I had these in another drive (E:/ I think) with a pointer in the FSX .cfg SimObjectPaths.7=E:\AI_Aircraft It worked well.... So I tried the same again...this time using C: Drive (E:/ Drive is called 'Data Volume E:' for some reason so not sure if it would work using that) No joy....Same .cfg entry too. Hi all I have a problem. I recently purchased Ultimate Traffic 2 which I love, I am now enjoying a far more realistic sim despite the hit on my frame rate! However I notice at Aerosoft airports I have little or no AI traffic. Googling the problem suggests that you need to disable aircraft ground shadows for some reason (only causes a problem for Aerosoft products seemingly, despite their support forum claiming that it's not anything to do with Aerosofts scenery..hmmm...) I have done this, but notice that even now, for example at EBBR with AI traffic at 100% I get maybe one or two aircraft. Yet at somewhere like Heathrow (UK2000) I have so much t…

Hi there, sorry to bother everyone but this is really bugging me now! I've been having this issue with FSX where my frames are running fine and then suddenly drops down to 2/3FPS for about 30 seconds. Which, clearly isn't right. It all happened after I installed Aerosoft's Airbus X Extended, it happened to me before but I was never able to fix it, and then I put my system back to Windows 7 and now I'm back on Windows 8. FSX had been running perfectly until I installed that aircraft, then, it started to grab all of FSX and drop everything down. Hi all, Just a quick reality check - is there any good Stearman for FSX out there? Good as in Milviz/A2A/RealAir or at Ants-good? I read a couple of less than stellar things about the Vertigo version, and nothing particularly good about the Golden Age one either. I just wanted to post this topic up in the hope I could get some thoughts from other simmers. Taxi 2 Gate have recently released Istanbul and in my opinion it's quality is quite superb, not only inlcuding the airport but alot of the area surrounding it. They delivered this product on the back of MMMX which is superb as well. The latest Istanbul got to us in 3 months!!! They developed this bad boy like a rocket...... So my question is why are we waiting 6 to 12 months for other sceneries to hit the market from developers who have been in the game for much longer and delivering comparable quality??? Hirdy

Hi Guys! I recently had to reinstall all my fs softare and recently noticed that there is no longer a listing for "Addon Scenery" in the scenery library. I don't know how it went missing, but I'm thinking it needs to be in the library in order to 'see' any scenery listed in the "addon scenery" folder. correct? How would I add more ram to my FSX? I use FPS Limiter to start FSX, so I wouldn't know if that would interfere with anything. Sorry I'm not to descriptive about it, but I just need a quick tutorial on how to do it. If I am not able to do it with FPS Limiter, then just show me how to do it normally. Thanks!

Hey guys, When you're reading through the FSX forums, you can easily get the impression that FSX out of the box looked like rubbish and wouldn't cease to do so only after installing gazillion of addons. Now, here's my experience: I had been using FSX for maybe two years on a notebook (CPU: i3-2410m, GPU: GT 520M) with next to no addons and although I had most sliders far to the left, it had hardly been playable for me. And it looked like rubbish indeed.
