When I use the Q400, many times I cannot use my joystick. Tried to unplug from USB and plug it in, but not working. In Windows control panel the joystick is there and can be calibrated. Using Logitech Extreme 3D pro, and W 8. And when I check in FSX the joystick is not there, only "mouse yoke" !? Please help

Hi everyone, this time i´m writing a new script for callout the V-Speed. For the testphase I write it with TEXT, later I will replaced it with a wave file. The line for callout 80 knots works great (standalone for test): 0 BEGIN 2 GOTO 2 #airData_->ADC[0].outputs.IAS < 80 0 GOTO 0 TEXT "80 knots" 0 END But when I make the callout for V1 (standalone for test): 0 BEGIN 2 GOTO 2 #airData_->ADC[0].outputs.IAS < #EFISdata_->bugs.debug_IAS_L_V1_bug 0 GOTO 0 TEXT "V1" 0 END the script write the V1 message when the Dash is still standing. Hi I'm a new member trying to find my way around the forum, so I may be in the wrong place? I have just purchased the above panels l but can't register. The registration box is asking for my name and registration details but has no entry box for name and only 3 boxes for registration details but I have 4 codes to enter. I can't install?? Any help would be appreciated Jim

I purchased ORBX PNW ( instant download only ). I got to the wrapper, used my order #, date of purchase , Serial key, that's ok. Then a pop up asking to insert the next disc. ( no disc. ). That's as far as I could get. Very frustrating. How do I get around this ? Thanks

Hey folks, just did a re-install of FSX and some add ons. Following Nick N's Bible. I've done searches and found some of the info., but wanted to try and consolidate everything in one place. I've had this strange problem with FSX for several months now that I can not get to the bottom of. The problem manifests itself with runways, taxiways and airport lights (at night) being visible through terrain in some instances. I've tried disabling every scenery related add-on I've got, going between DX9 and DX10, clearing shader caches.... no joy. Here's an example: This is from the Virtual Cockpit view - notice the airport appearing throw the hillside just to the right of the HUD: It's not always obvious because it doesn't show through autogen scenery - so a tree-filled hillside will pretty much block it. I have had this aircraft in FSX for a long time and almost every time I get flying it stops FSX no so munch CTD but freeze it up,I have look into it and it almost all the time says it is a sound problem.Try to find and uninstall it but could not find one any ideas how to uninstall it ?????

When using the Wing Tanks on the Twin Otter extended, can the Fuel Pumps be shut off or do they need to stay on? Last few nights I did a short trip from Nantucket to Boston, and both times at the end of the flight even though I had like 10% fuel left and my generators were on, I got Low Pump pressure lights. then the Engines died.. At first I thought, the generators weren't working and maybe I ran the batteries out so couldn't operate the Pumps.. But now I'm thinking maybe IDeal Flight stored some of the fuel in the Tanks, and that was my problem. Last night I did the trip with Full fuel and had no issues.. I just made my first trip to Cancun last week and am now interested in picking up a 3rd party airport for the area. I did some googling and saw that the AMS version looks to be the best one, but it appears that the developers website is down, there is no activity in their forum and simmarket has pulled it from their inventory. Having said that, is there any online retailer selling the FSX version of this still? I really want it and took a look at the other Cancun packages and might have to settle on the Tropical Sim version if I cant get the AMS version, but after seeing the screen shots of the AMS version, I was really set to get that one as it seemed to be the most …

Hi All, I'm trying to use the HTAI Cessna 402 with Ultimate Traffic 2. Unfortunately when I load up the sim the AI 402s have no textures. Does anyone know the fix for this? I've added, the base model, and the livery to the Ultimate Traffic 2 aircraft folder, and linked the repaint to the flight plans within UT2. Any ideas? Thanks!

Dear fellow simmers, I made a post today over at FSDT-Forum asking if Ground Service X (GSX) would be made available for General Aviation (GA) flyers like me. I asked if it be possible to develop some special features that allow us GA-pilots to take advantage of GSX. I mentioned that a fuel truck that holds next to the plane and a guy/girl climbing on a ladder to insert the fuel hose into the aircrafts wing would be terrific. Or the same happening at the fuel station if I arrive, apply the parking break and cut of the engine. Also, maybe a guy/girl to unload the baggage or some cargo from the plane onto a cart and possibly a limo for the business jets to…

I've just got a new monitor which is widescreen. Is there a way to make FSX run widescreen without 'stretching' everything? All the round gauges are now egg-shaped!I can manually change the aspect ratio on the monitor but that leaves thick black bars on the left and right of the display.Any help appreciated!Toni.

Hi, i just bought the eaglesoft citation cj1+ v. 2.0 The problem is, that its impossible to use NAV2 (VOR2) ? I want the green pointer to indicate NAV2 and the cyan RMI pointer to show NAV1. Is that somehow possible ? There is no VOR2 indication .. It seems that the DME hold function is not possible ... Is there a workaround? Thx

Hi all I know that P3D2.1 is not officially supported as yet but I'm just wondering if anyone else out there has the same problem as me with the Dash 8? And if there is an easy fix. After a minute or two flying the Dash8's position in space (bank angle mostly) is updated in a very irregular manner. The pfd updates fine and follows the yolk's input in real time and the scenery/clouds flow past beautifully. However, as shown on the attached video, the whole thing is rendered unusable by jumpy graphic updates. It starts ok but after returning to the cockpit after an external view it all goes haywire.
