Hello. FSX Acceleration and Traffic2005 FSX update installed. All of Traffic2005 AI aircraft replaced with custom models (EVAI, TFS etc.) All of flightplans compiled from the ones downloaded here at Avsim and anywhere else available. All of AI traffic is displayed and works normally. Then I decided to upgrade my Ai traffic jetsounds and here came the trouble. I did all what had to be done (created soundai folders, alias the soudai.cfg and so on) but I always hear the monotone default AI sound (the one from the .wav file in the main FSX\Sound directory). In an extreme attempt, I even copied both .wav files and sound.cfg file from the B737_800\soundai folder to…

I recently did a clean install of FSX, I remeoved absolutely everything. Since I reinstalled it, the AI traffic sounds only played the FS9 traffic sounds (which has no sound cones), weird since this is FSX (0_o) So I found the sound files in the FSX/sound folder and deleted them. Now I have no AI sounds at all! In all the AI aircraft folders there is AI traffic sounds e.g. the default 737 has the folder "soundai" with all the sound files and cfg. inside, but no matter what I do there is no sounds playing in FSX. Could anyone please help me

Hi all can anyone help me with the axis indicator view i wish to have it in the normal cockpit view while flying as its so helpfull for landing practice but i cant seem to get it to show in this view it shows if i open an extra window but not in the 2d cockpit view I am sure its some thing small I am doing wrong but cant for the life in me figure out what it is thanks for any help you can give kind regards to all Mike

I delete key assignments in FSX and they keep coming back, what the ...? I only want a few assignments in FSX, I need the other keys for another program.

Hi Guys, What is the best way of visualising SIDs, STARs and transitions when planning a flight? I have FS Commander, which works to some extent, as well as FSBuild and Plan G. My difficulty is that the routes that FS Commader suggests sometimes do not correspond with those in the FMS of my Majestic Q400, and it can be difficult to choose the best, most realistic proceedure to suit the overall route and specific runway for the weather. I am getting a crackling sound in my audio that seems to only be associated with the engine sound. From what I can tell, voices on ATC or fspassengers all come across clear, its just the engine sound effect. Does anyone experienced this before, or do you know how to fix it? Maybe my 172 just needs an oil change :lol:

Hi guys, I have decided to give Vatsim a go via squawk box. I have downloaded and followed tutorials on install etc. Squawkbox says I have connected succesfully, It shows the atc channels on the right but I tune active tower channel and nothing happens. I do not hear anything at all from atc, the bottom right says text only and when I hit the PTT button it buzzes. I have calibrated my mic and it says works fine. Any help? Thanks in advance!

Hi so i opened a topic on QW help forums yesterday no one responded so i thought i would try here So when i click on the QW 757 and press ok on the aircraft selection menu.Then a error comes up saying microsoft flight simulator has stoped working.Then closes it straight after.I only bought i yesterday. I was doing a visual landing into EGLL last night and was cleared to land 27L using side slip on 27R. Is this an expected procedure? Was this because there is no ILS on 27L but, since I was visual, why would I care? Also, is there some correction required to the location of this airport? I was vectored to right on top of Heathrow and then cleared to land. Do I need to pick up the AFCAD files for UK2000 scenery? Be gentle, this is my first time flying in the UK sim space. Also, recommendations for good scenery? The stock stuff looks really, really bad from on high.

Hello, After reentering this great hobby via the new Boeing 777 from PMDG, I noticed a circle on the screen with a number of moving arrows. I don't know what this is, or how it is called. It comes from FSX, because other planes show it as well. I feel it is annoying, but can anybody tel me HOW CAN I SWITCH IT OFF? Thanks on beforehand. Joop Verdonk

Hi all, I use REX4, but recently, I've been getting some incredibly ugly looking 'always grey' clouds. I've tried multiple textures within REX4 and can't find a way to find some nice fluffy white clouds. The clouds in the shot below are actually 1024px in 32BIT. I know that these are a stratus clouds, but even my cumulus clouds are grey and lack any decent color. Is something wrong with my set up or does anyone have a recommendation for a great cloud texture?

Hey guys, I´m currently searching for ground movment charts of certain airports as Chicago O´Hare, JFK anD all other major US airports. To get me right, I don´t look for the aerodrome charts with the runways and so on, but just for charts which show the gates and parking positions. I do have some from Frankfurt/Main issued by the German ATC but I had no luck for the US.

For some really obscure reason, when I fly the Sibwings Antonov and I switch to an external view, I can still hear the cockpit sound above the external engine sound! I've tried a reinstall and changed different sound settings but with no success. I have had little success logging onto the Sibwings forum, hence my post here. It's a shame because it's spoiling what would otherwise be a really great aircraft. Any help, as always, appreciated. Thanks guys...
