Hello All, Using MegaSceneryEarth v2 to replace the FSX default scenery is a huge step in seeing the real world, maybe as it was a couple of years ago but still much improved over the FSX default. One of the problems for me is now it is painfully obvious the placement of the airports, especially the smaller home town type single runways with one or two hangars are misplaced in location by a few yards and a few degrees of alignment. Can the average flight simmer, using mostly free programs move and properly align these runways? I have ADE and it is obvious the lat and long assignments in the Runways.txt file are not the same as the lat/long locations listed at Ai…

I'm wondering about freeware for 737 aircraft. I did a quick search and wasn't able to find very much other than the Tinmouse 732. After that it seems to get pretty thin.

So this is a new issue for me. Pictured is the PMDG 777 but it also has happened to the QW 757. Everytime I get into clouds parts of the VC and buttons render clouds over them. Hi, In the fmc of b737 ngx, there is a section called n1 limit. There are few selections like TO, TO-1, TO-2 and CLB, CLB-1 and CLD-2. They are the power of engine while takeoff and climb but i don't know how to calculate and select the power. How do you select it? According to what? And in the takeoff ref page, there are few AGL settings such as ACCEL HT, REDUCT HT, EO ACCEL HT and Cutback switch. And when i enable cutback,RESTORE HT or something like this appears.What do they mean? Sorry for asking terms meanings but i'm trying to learn advanced fmc

Hi this morning when I tried to load a couple of previously saved flights, the flight loaded in its default mode. The saved flight is listed in the saved flights menu but when I select it it just loads the aircraft in its default state. Any advice. All other saved flights work Thx lee

I was very suprised that I couldnt find any related posts to that Problem as it seems to be a major fsx problem. I have tried in PMDG NGX and 777. I have moved the MCP panel to my second screen but I am not able to use the mouse wheel to scroll the speed and altitude. It only works when the mouse focus is on the first screen but this gets losts as soon as I click on any button in the second screen like AP on/off. Is there any way to fix that? I would like to be able to use the scoll on the second screen to set heading, altitude and speed :-/ Thanks Gabriel

Hey guys, I am new to this game and also this community, so first off hello to you all Now to my problem: After just getting FSX perfectly setup after watching guides, reading guides, and whatnot I am now getting into the flying part which is going quite well at the moment. But I have a problem after taking off, I get a clicking sound maybe like a warning or alarm for something? It also says in the bottom right corner with a red background about "over speed" if I remember correctly. Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong and how to fix this aswell as turning off this annoying sound or maybe preventing it from doing that? Thank you.

Hi, often I fly with my FSX on a modern PC at 4GHz, still I get CTD of errors in Scenery and AIs. Do you know the best way to find those error files of addon scenery and AI Airplanes?

I had elevation problems, so got some help with my scenry library and now the elevations are good. Now I've got black grass. I've tried the FTX Central, using the Global, North America and Europe. I went to FTX Europe, FTX Jackson Hole , FS Vancouver, plus default airports in between, all black grass. What could cause black grass ?

Hey! I have problem with my FSX, some days ago, I started my FSX. (No big problem) but if i wanted to fly at an airport with an Add on scenery, there was no add on scenery. I tried other Airports but all my scenerys are lost! I need my add ons back on my Fsx, the default scenery loocks terible! Please help me. Felix

I'm expecting my Buttkicker Gamer2 any day now. I've read in the forums that the Creative Soundblaster X-FI USB is the recommended product to use with it, but it's $100 here in Canada and sold out in my area. I ended up getting a Soundblaster Pro USB instead. Does anyone have any experience with this product? If I can find out in advance, I can return it (unopened) if I have to. As an aside, I called Smoketronics (a Canadian/US Buttkicker dealer) and was told that they weren't expecting any Gamer2 units until Q2 2014 at the earliest. Thanks in advance

I want to install EZCA to a new directory, not in program files but the same c:\games that my fsx is in. The main installer does not give me an option to change the location, is it possible? Thank you

I was just wondering if FTX Global (not FS Global) and UTX are compatiable? UTX is better than FTX Vector as far as correct placement of roads, small towns, ect, I would like to use these two programs together since I already have FTX Global. Thanks Lamar

Location: C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\ The above is the path I followed, then "Granted Rewards" (I think :wacko: ). I saw a PDF, but it wouldn't open it. I tried Note Pad, but it was garbled / unreadable. I'd like to save it to a thumb drive, then paste it into my new reinstall of FSX, in my new system. Don't want to lose all those flight hours :blush: . Thanks, Eagle

Well I'm guessing this is my last attempt to activate my Flight Simulator X . I'm one of the very many people that got stuck with a game that can't be activated. I get my 30 min. And get a message to activate and it never connects to register . I've tried all the cracks and none work . Anyone have any ideas ?? Geo

Hi EveryoneJust wondering if anyone can help me here i have just downloaded the ifly 747 with service pack three fot fs2004. The problem i have is with the elevators every time i pull back at rotate there is a loud bang and the everything at the back of the aircraft jams. Really would like some help as it is a great piece of freeware.Michael

I tried, I really tried to have this addressed at the FSD forum, but no, there'll be none of that will there! All I asked is that somebody on their staff explain to me why the FSX Seneca V Standard instrument version HSI cannot find the correct magnetic heading to save it's flight soul. All I got was gibberish about how it has an advanced HSI compared to the FSX default "advanced compass" which by the way does work!! Yikes!! . Does anyone who has the FSD Seneca V and uses the standard avionics package explain to me how to set the gyros and make the HSI indicate the correct magnetic heading? Please!?!!!Randy Jura, KPDX

:( I fly 737-700 of iFly and one time I saw taxi and landing lights, and I don't know if after install some add on, I not saw more this lights, only when I use 3d landscape y saw taxi light but only from outside de plane viewing from the top, but inside the cockipt and seeing outside not lights seen. The texture in Efects folder exisits, and in Aircraft.cfg are declared iFly texture. If somebody can help thanks in advance.:(

Can someone tell me why I can request "flight following" from ATC in the UK, but not in the Republic of Ireland? Instead, it has the option to "transition through Charlie airspace". Why the difference??

To all, Anyone know of a utility program that will read the appropriate FSX config files and then present a list of all of the currently assigned keys? If no, is there a graceful (fast / easy) way of determining the current key assignments; other than the awkward method of looking them up in the FSX Options\Controls list in the simulator ~ Thank you, Ken

I have PMDG 777 installed, with FSX on a separate drive with no OS. In the GRAPHICS section I am trying to add HIGHMEMFIX=1 and add in the DISPLAY section I want to add WideViewAspect=True. I can build computers but am weak on software. I do not think FSX was installed correctly as I did not reboot before installing the Acceleration Pack. Is that the problem? And if I have uninstall FSX I'm supposed to delete the MSFX App Data Roaming file which does not show up when searched for either. Other then these problems FSX is starting to look pretty good with the PMDG777, I'm surprised, and I do not have REX or any other scenery addons yet. Thanks, Brian

Hi Guys Flying along the east coast of Italy I noticed some strange goings on in the water: Issue "A" - a random outline of something in the water. Issue "B" - random "squares" of tropical type water in a large body of "normal" water Issue "C" - strange "banks" of odd coloured water patches. At first I thought this was cloud reflection but it's far too uniform and doesn't follow the pattern of clouds I see in the sky.... Anyone encountered any of these issues? Thanks
