Ok, so I am frustrated beyond belief with my activation issues, so this is my last attempt to try and find a solution......and forget Microsoft, those buffoons couldn't find their proverbial.....well you know what with both hands. I purchased FS X about a month ago, and spent over 12 hours on the phone with Microsoft trying to find a solution to my activation woes. I have the new TropicalSim Porto (LPPR) 2014 scenery installed on FSX (no other 3rd-party scenery in that area). When approaching Porto on the ILS 17 (109.90), I overshot the runway four times in a row, twice with Aerosoft's Airbus X Extended, twice with the PMDG NGX. Each time the autopilot would catch both localizer and glidepath, both AP's were switched on for a full autoland, but the plane ended up way too high on short final and the AP's quit autoland mode each time. Anybody else around who encountered this problem?

Pushing back from A42 at Imaginesim KDEN slowly increasing power to roll in the PMDG 777 and she slowly gains speed then stops about 100 ft later. I give her a little more power (30%) and she won't budge. I increase to 40%, nothing, increase to 50% she begins to shake add more power, now she's really shaking but won't move. No, I don't have any brakes set, Tiller turned, "Brake Temp" warnings or flats. So, I slew forward a bit and she will move a little only to stop again, slew to the right on to the Taxi lane and she rolls perfectly. Why do people even bother with this platform? It's absolutely, disgustingly bad! If it's not crashing to the desktop its lagging like a gypsy with a mortgage, if it's not doing that its having itself an epileptic stuttering fit! This is 2014 people! Why do we continue to demand so much from such a frankly dilapidated platform. It was never designed for HD textures, high fidelity a/c, or even to run on today's hardware. I see people spending £££ on new systems in the vain hope that these issues will simply disappear! They won't! every time i switch off task for example check my flight analysis and then i try to return to my flight the screen goes black but i can still here noise or the graphics get all messed up. anyone got ideas how to fix this?

Since the Q400 is said to run outside of FSX does this mean weather related turbulence in FSX has no effect on this AC? What about weather from programs like Active Sky or Opus?

So I just downloaded Rlaborie's new A400M (link below), and overall it's a nice bird, with one major, glaring flaw: http://secure.simmarket.com/rlaborie-cargo-400m-fsxp3dv2.phtml It uses the stock Beach King sounds :wacko: Considering the whole package only cost $26 (USD), I'm not blaming the dev. I'm in need of some major help here. Re-installed my Windows7 64 bit system with FSX and find I am not able to save any control settings. Whenever I re-boot FSX, it erases everything I had set for my controls and keyboard assignments. Also, when I've completed a mission it shows the check mark like it's been accomplished but when I re-boot FSX, it's all erased. (When I say re-boot I mean just FSX and not the computer.) Hello simmers, I bought the 777 recently and to move around more smoother and faster I'm using EzDok with some views by facebook and by my own. But everytime during push, turns etc. the view is moving. For example my "pilot" view is showing the MCP till the ALT knob. But after push or after some good turns in the air I can see the LOC/APP knobs or even the knobs of the ECL system. Is there any way to fix that and so it's not moving anymore? This also occurs when looking at overhead,radios etc. Thanks for the hints!!

I have been banned from Aerosoft forums and my posts cancelled because I had commented that there is not yet a single screenshot nor any information about the close to be released (after many years of development) CRJ900 systems, only exterior screenshots with liveries (which tell me ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about the airplane) and because I was surprised that nothing is yet known about an FSX sceney that in february 2013 was due to be released "soon" (after being incredibly released only for FS9). Hi folks Guys, I need to modify the wind sound to be starts at certain speed or/and certain altitude. In the normal situation inside the fsx, the wind sound starts at nearly 70 or 80 knots and this is very unrealistic in my cockpit. Could anyone tells or help me to make the wind sound starts at certain & specific speeds (or even in certain altitude). The wind sound is one of the most important effects in my cockpit, so I hope to find the way to modifying it as I mentioned above. Thx

Steve/Cheryl, Just in case you're not very busy at the moment, I thought I'd run a feature request past you (!) ... OPUS already produces excellent SID/STARS info, but I was wondering whether we could also query runways.xml to grab departure, enroute and destination runway information <?>. "Quick ILS" does all that - and then sends the info to FSX (via FSUIPC), allowing you to automatically tune your NAV radios on runway selection. However - it runs in a separate window and needs manual ICAO code input. As OPUS already knows where you are (along with any route info you've already given it), could that process be built into OPUS somehow? Adam…

Hi all. Can anyone help me with a conundrum? I've run FSX passably on a Sony laptop (Win7, 64-bit) for a couple of years: not great but better than nothing as I travel a lot. I've used a Logitech rumble pad, which has force feedback and which has worked fine. Then a couple of weeks ago, I traded up to a Chillblast Tiger Moth laptop (also Win7, 64-bit) to improve the FSX experience (which it certainly has done - and how!). Same original copy of FSX Gold - but now the force feedback doesn't work with the same Logitech rumble pad. The tab in the controls section for force feedback in FSX, there on the Vaio, doesn't appear at all in the menus on the Tiger Moth. I'…

I just downloaded MS FSX on a windows 8 system and was able to make a couple of flights with no problems, then the engine began to quit at the beginning of startup on the ground- I can restart for a moment then it shuts down- I tried a different plane and restarted- same thing- master is on, mixture in, full fuel, no failures programmed- also throttle on yoke became unresponsive when shut down problem arose. Has anyone ever heard of these symptoms?

Hey, I have recently switched from auto piloting the hell out of everything and just sitting there idle watching the computer fly the plane for me, to flying smaller aircraft manually on FSX and I'm glad I've started to learn how to fly properly (on fsx anyways), its MUCH more interesting Anyway, I have been reading up visual approaches and flying the glideslope manually, rather than having the autopilot do it. I know how to read all the instruments on the plane and know wether I'm below or above the glideslope. (I'm flying the default Cessna Skyhawk 172). Hi, I run fsx with the latest service packs and I really want to use addon scenery but using addon scenery is causing problems. When I'm in flight in the air or on the ground and go to something in the menu or change my flight plan the clouds, scenery and my aircraft dispaera. I can hear the plane flying but can only see outlines HELP
