Folks, a quick (few) question(s) here: I know that the safedocks at UK2000 Heathrow do not show "777", because of the viewpoint, or something, which is a bit of a pain when you mostly fly the PMDG 777, so: -If I were to buy GSX, Would the UK2000 safedocks be replaced with those of GSX, and show "777" -If not, is there any edit I can do without changing the view within the 777, to make "777" show up? -is there anyway of making the UK2000 safedock systems brighter, so I can see them from further out? I am having problems keeping my plane from starting down the runway even when my plane is in idle. it makes it difficult to contact my ATC before takeoff. Any help would be appreciated.

I've been a long time user/customer of Navigraph's FMS data but now I'm just in the middle of reinstalling FSX after a hardware upgrade and at this time also my Navigraph FMS data subscription has run out so now I'm thinking should I renew my FMS data subscription with Navigraph or would there be any advantages switch to Aerosoft's NavDataPro at this time instead? The products I currently use the FMS data with are the PMDG NGX and Aivlasoft's EFB and I've also used SimBrief every now and then and might start using it more further down the road. After a quick look it doesn't seem like NavDataPro supports SimBrief at this time and maybe it never will since it's in fact …

Hello I am wondering if there is an option or way to Disable the parking brake from releasing when i press on the rudder pedals. I only want the parking break to be released when I click on the parking break its self. Thanks

Hello, I have a scenery add on that is leading to CTD. I cannot uninstall it via control panel. If I remove the scenery's folder in FSX\Addon scenery, will FSX reload the original FSX scenery the next time I load FSX? Thanks rob

Hi, I´ve just bought Rex 4 Direct HD from this website, and after 2 hours of downloading, i finally could click on setup.exe and run as admin. But then after 10 min. or so i got this error message: the file "runway12.dds_24" cannot be installed because the file cannot be found in cabinet file "rexte2.cab" This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package. I tried to download the hole s*** again, and saved it into an other folder, but the same error again! So i hope some of you guys have an answer on this error, thank you. Regards Noah

Hello All I've encountered an issue I've never seen before in FSX. I go to the menu bar, instruments dropdown and select an instrument, such as Reality XP, ASN weather gauge or an A2A mini control panel. The gauges appear. But when I click on the gauges to move them, the entire screen goes black for a few seconds and then comes back on, with no subsequent problems with the instruments. It doesn't happen with all instrument panels and sometimes does not occur at all. The sim runs fine, but it's very irritating to have blackouts with new instrument windows. Hello ALL, I tried using DHM with one of those big default helicopters of FSX and lately with PMDG 777, but it seemed to mess with the flight dynamics of both aircraft. For instance, PMDG 777 wouldn't even follow a hold pattern correctly (overshoot/undershoot all the way), not to mention that manual flying was very odd too. Is there any way to fix this? Thanks. PE

I have an issues that I never used to have......Once im close to the runway and all straighten up with the run way, the pink diamond starts to move down, When that happens, I press approach hold (app) and it keeps going low and makes me crash before the runway! When do i click approach hold?? When the pink diamond STARTS to move or once its in the middle? Please help! This is for FSX, ILS landing.

Very recently, when i try to pan around my VC using spacebar and my mouse, I am limited to panning up or down only with no ability to move to the right or left.(The indicator cross moves all the way to the side of the screen but the view doesn't rotate). Toggling mouse yoke on or off doesn't seem to be the cause. Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening and how to fix it? I have FSUIPC but i don't use it to pan with mouse look.

I am unable to hear any atc voices. I have already checked that voices are turned on and the volume is turned up. Does anyone have any ideas?

Can anyone give me the diameter of Open Cockpits EGT gauge? Do they fit the FDS Overhead?

I d/l and tried the MKstudiosJohnWayne addon scenery for FSX, and have noticed when I taxi around the airport, the taxiway scenery around my plane is "erased". Its like I am in the middle of a huge beige circle, and taxiway lines and whatnot dissapear. The runways are not impacted. Anyone else have this issue and does anyone know how to fix this bug? What does cutback do in PMDG 737 NGX while departing? Hi captains, I have question about noise abatement departures. Few days ago, I learned what is accelleration height, reduction height and restore height with detail. And I did a flight which is EGNM to LCLK (it was very long o.o). And I successfully performed noise abatement departure. Anyway, my question is what is the difference between departures with cutback and departures without cutback. When i enable cutback in the fmc, acceleration height disappears. Instead, restore height appears. I did those 2 departures too but I couldn't see a difference. Can someone explain me with details. I have recently upgraded my hardware to increase the performance of FSX with my addons. 2 weeks ago I changed my AMD Phenom II 1100t Black Edition 3.3MHz processor to an Intel i7 4770k processor and Over-clocked the processor from 3.5MHz to 4.4Mhz. The difference was amazing, but still if I use the PMDG 737 with UK2000 Gatwick Extreme, my frame rates drop to around 15FPS. I used to have an NVidia GTX 480 Graphics Card, so I thought that may be throttling the performance, so today I purchased an NVidia GTX780 (MSI Over-clocked Edition) thinking that would solve the problem. I just picked up Flightbeam KIAD which comes with the addon manager by virtuali. I noticed it sets up global teaks within the software and applies it to all FSX sceneries, however, I don't really want it messing with my pristine cfg. file. Is there a way to disable this?

I did register on the bleeder plan, $5 a month, I don't know what's going on here, I definitely have fsx.CFG file in my C: Users\Microsoft\FSX folder, but I'm running the flight simulator from my second drive, my E:\ drive. I've installed FSUIPC and it says it is installed and in the FSX folder. But it is not listed in the C:\ FSX folder, or the E:\ FSX folder. So I guess I have it, but can't access it. As more leading-edge developers push the envelope for detail, fidelity, and the "gee-whiz" factor, it has become readily apparent that FSX is being rapidly pushed over the edge of the infamous 4GB VAS cliff. I would propose that we, the customers, gently nudge our favorite developers to publish benchmark VAS usage for their latest products as part of the usual "requirements" list for OS, CPU, GPU, etc. If they published an average VAS usage, on a clean, vanilla copy of FSX, it would enable us to properly assess their new products in view of our current packages of add-ons to see what trade-offs we might have to make to see their product perform reasonably well on our indi…

Hi guys, I just bought REX 4 and downloaded from simMarket. However, once the file has been downloaded I cannot execute any option to configure the product. I tried downloading the product for a second time just to see if some files were missing, but no solution. Two windows open, one with the file as below and a second showing: "C:\Windows\System32" Have some of you guys experience somethign similar, is there some alternatives? I use AXE CoRte to save plans and use them in game, but I can't use the atc becouse I don't have the plan selected on FSX, but only inserted on the MCDU of the airbus. If I try to insert the plan in fsx the route is different so I usually get the wrong istructions. I'd like to convert the flight plan of AXE to a plan for fsx so I can use the default ATC while flying and following the AXE flight plan

Hi all, Having the BAe 146-200 loaded and ready to Taxi... going to: Menu Bar - Views - Instrument Panel I have a load of panels and the Vox ATC is right down the bottom where I can't see it or click it. Is there a way to get rid of some of those panels and have Vox ATC to show up so I can click it and start the thing ?! Thank you guys. Carlos

I downloaded and tried to install several different models of Boeing 777 (200 and 300 modifications) to my FSX simulator. Most of the models are based on Project Open Sky edition. My version of FSX includes SP2. The result is the same - I'm getting "gray" model without liveries shown: 3D cabine also is totally "gray". 2D cabine is fine. But also very interesting thing is when I delete my SP2. Then the aircraft looks fine, 3D cabine is also almost fine, but without any data at displays (the same for 2D cabine). What should I do to make Boeing 777 model working?
