Especially since getting the A2A Cessna, I have been wanting to learn VOR to VOR navigation, and the GB sectional depicts my youthful stomping grounds, and the KF sectional fits nicely with the new (ish) Orbx NCA addon. ( And I just spent two weeks driving up and down I-5 in CA, OR, and WA.) Hello, I run into an installation error with Rex Direct. It happens just at the beginning and the error message comments about administrator... - I have read the installation readme - I have switched off the AV - I have not chosen a x86 or program files, but a separate path - I have search the net and found out that similar problems have occurred - I have wondered myself how is this possible after a almost a year in the market - I have attempted to log in to the producer´s web site in vain Any ideas?

I just started using FS Commander for flight planning purposes. After creating the plan I export it to the FSX flight planner. When I load the FS Commander created flight plan (in the FSX flight planner) my departure airport lists the runway where the plane will be located just prior to taking off. But I always try to begin my flight at a designated parking area (GA aircraft) not the runway. The problem: When I select a parking area, the "OK" button to initiate the flight is grayed out and I can't click it to save the parking area in the plan, and begin the flight. During a flight from KLAS to KSFO, at top of decent, I went into the FMC approach page and selected the Flaps and speed but after doing this the only thing that showed up on FD was the speed (lower Left Corner), why would the Flaps selection not show up? BTW the plane never slowed down on approach either and was going 185 knts at the threshold so something was screwed up. Any ideas?

Hello, since I upgraded my pc I did some testing with the 737NGX and Nvidia surround view. When flying in fair weather I'm stuck at 30fps nearly anywhere, even at addon airports with traffic. As soon as the weather gets nasty and I'm flying through heavy clouds, rain and fog my fps go down to the low teens. I cannot remember having such problems with my old ATI 6870, fps-wise there was a difference of maybe 3-5 fps from 0 to massive clouds. Cloud resolution is set to 2048 and I'm using REX Essentials. The question is, is this an issue with Nvidia?

Hello :3 So, I've recently bought the CS757. I had a clean install of FSX (it's on a new computer). It runs pretty well on my system and settings with about 36 fps at KLAX with about 85% traffic. I took off and was flying at about 32,000ft when I noticed that my framerate went down to about 8 fps O.o I'm so confused xD Shouldn't the framerate be better when I'm in the sky because it has to load less stuff? Does anybody have any clue what's wrong? Thanks for any advice

I have a new PC and I bought a new copy of FSX Gold since I couldn't find my old copy. Will I still need to get SP 1 and 2 if I have the gold edition, and if so, where would I get that from? Thanks for any help

Hello Fliers, I have been off FSX for about two years. Since then I have retired and bought a new high end system from DS (Digital Storm).I gave my old copy of FSX to my grandson and got him into this madness! I would like to get back into flying FSX. I did install P3D a while back with all it's updates and my new system runs it just fine. As most know P3D is a work in progress. I think P3D will be a good FS as well. Now, for FSX, DS gave me a new copy of FSX Deluxe with my new computer. It has been sitting on the shelf so I decided to fly both FSX and P3D. I saved all my Tweaks for FSX and most addon aircraft. Hi everyone I have been trying to activate my FSX via the telephone .... As soon as it connects an automated male voice asks me to press some digits into my telephone ..... the digits are 40028 ..... The automated voice says it as ' four hundred twenty eight' (This is before it asks me for the very long FSX number to type in) Anyway ...... I key the digits in and it says this is wrong and repeats the message .... Hello, I've searched the forums and have not found any direct answers for this combination. Normally, I'm getting 30 FPS with Autogen set to max, cloud cover set to max, etc. However, now that I've added REX4 and ASN, all runs GREAT until I encounter overcast clouds. Then the FPS runs mainly in the upper teens, but sometimes below 10 FPS. I've adjusted Autogen to NORMAL when in overcast conditions, but it doesn't really help. I'm looking for someone with the same basic setup below, who has overcome the low FPS or made it better... There are many scenery options, but it seems like there's a consensus and it basically comes down to two formats/systems: Ultimate Terrain X + Ground Environment X vs. FTX Global + FTX Vector + a landclass layer. I've been trying several arrivals at un-towered airports in Australia, using mainly RNAV approaches, and I've been having trouble, like many others, with the aircraft missing the IF completely. Majestic have indicated that they are looking at this and may do something in a future patch. Yesterday I flew YSST to YPMQ and I thought I'd enter the RNAV fixes and see how the aircraft handled things. The FMC didn't want to enter my fixes which I was reading straight off the Air Services Australia approach sheet for YPMQ rwy 21!
