Hello I have recently bought Taxi2gate's KMCO addon and the VAS usage is insane! I fly the PMDG 777 and when ever I approach the airport, my VAS is around 3.8-4.9gb. This does not happen at any other airport. If I fly away from the airport, the VAS drops to 3.0gb. So something is happening with this scenery. Any ideas? The airport is currently unusable :( Thanks in advance. Matthew

I don't think I have paid attention to this in the 737 NGX because it can fly itself during descent but I have been using the Feelthere RJ145 and it really is a fun plane to fly but my question is there is this pink sideways triangle that slides up and down on the PFD and I am wondering what it means? I do my best to keep it level in the middle but sometimes after crossing different way points it goes all the way to the top or the bottom. What does it mean when it is at the top and bottom of the display? Also on approach how far out can I hit the approach button? Hi, I have a problem with the FSX G1000, it shows no so called "Flight path information", instead it shows BRG 4 times!! Although there is no FP loaded in the picture, the problem is still there if one is loaded. Has anybody got a solution how to get back to the "default" view?

What kind of airplanes are designed to park and taxi here?? little Cessnas? See that yellow line to the left of the tail of the 777? I am just now returning to FSX with a new machine. Do I recall correctly that it is IMPOSSIBLE with the "volumetric" clouds, to simulate solid IFR ... with zero visibility in the clouds and the ability to break out in the clear? With previous versions I could be solid IFR and break out at Decision Height or Minimum Descent Altitude if I had the ceilings set properly. What is the best proper way to set the weather to simulate true solid cloud until break out into the open on descent? If this can't be done, then the sim is not helpful for simulating real approaches unless you just black out the entire outside window. I don't want to be able to see things through the cl…

Hello, AVSIM. New to the forums, and figured I could seek a bit of help. Being an FSX owner for a while, it came to my attention, as it eventually does any FSX simmer, that FSX doesn't always utilize all of your computers RAM. Now DON'T get me wrong, I know it can't use more than 4gb, but that is not really my issue. I researched the whole "Large Address Aware" thing, and checked to see if FSX was flagged [and it was]. But, after viewing system performance via task manager while FSX was running, I noticed the RAM usage barely peaked 2.5gb. That number alone may be small, but listen to this. Hello friends: I have encountered a strange scenery display problem today and I would like to ask for your advice on now to fix this... As you can see there seems to be a mistake in the elevation of the green parts so that the reunways and taxiways only appear intermettantly... Maybe I'm doing something wrong but whenever I attempt the auto landing in windy enviroinment, the airplane is not able to track itself along the glidescope. In other words it looks like it doesn't care to compensate the wind drift. I'm assuming that onboard systems of real 747 are able to take account of crosswind. Hi Guys, Just wondering how the new Dash 8s are delivered to lets say flybee in the UK. If i'm correct the Dash 8s have their final tests and finishings done at Downsview in Toronto Canada. Are the Aircraft shipped to the UK and then assembled here, or are they flown over ? If this is so, can anyone let me know which route they fly?

Is anyone using Navigraph's Chart Cloud? It's pretty pricey but it does allow you to use it on a tablet. I know the US charts are free but that's not not true everywhere and there was some talk that it's going to change for the US also. Just wondering what experience some of you might have.

Hi All, Not sure if this was ever looked at but Perth today is a good example of weather that could do with processing the RMK section of METARs. There is complete thick overcast but > 10,000 feet which is rendered as clear sky in OpusFSX. YPPH 240500Z 23005KT CAVOK 24/08 Q1008 RMK RF00.0/000.0 8AC150 NOSIG 8AC150 = 8 okta Alto-cumulus at FL150 I know this was discussed at some point in the Canadian context. Of course the trick will be that only manned metar stations have this information so it maybe just too hard to figure the logic? Anyway just an interesting heads up that made me think about this again. Cheers James

My apologies if this has been posted already; I did my best to search but nothing significant popped up. Does anyone know how to tweak FSX so it shows solid clouds? E.g. if I fly into a cumulous cloud, it will disappear once I'm in it and reappear when it is behind me. I'm looking for a tweak so if I'm in the cloud, I actually see that I'm flying through white precipitation drops, hence the name "solid" clouds. Hank

Is this normal or am I able to (or should) delete duplicated entries? Hello, i dont know if im in the wrong section or something but i recently tried to start a flight with fs passengers x and i wanted to set my location etc but when i click the buttons in the menu, it does not respond? when i try to click on exit. i can click on it but it does not do anything. the menu just stands there and doesnt react. ps (sorry for my english)
