I run FSX/FSUIPC4 on a Win7 64-bit system. Home repairs required me to disconnect all devices - Saitek yoke, TQ, and rudder pedals. I tagged them so I could replug them into the same USB ports where they had been. I started FSX and flew the default Cessna with no problem. Then I tested the default 737 and as soon as I started a Free Flight, while parked on the ramp - before I touched any controls - the throttles opened by themselves. To gain control I used the Saitek TQ to open, then close the them. I thought it was just an anomaly. My attempt to find this info via the "search engine" failed so letsthrow this question to the masses. I have a number of FS9 aircraftthat I have carried forward to FSX and have adjusted the location ofthe exits in the aircraft config to work with the jetways and luggagetrucks. MY QUESTION IS...how to I adjust the contact point for thePushback tug and the aircraft nose gear?

What My problem is the ZFW is different to the one in the 737 800 WL single class FMC - PFPX ZFW 42991 737 ZFW 41400 I have configured those two plans together by only using adults set to 79kg!

Hi. Just having this strange issue with levelD 767 on FSX. When approaching this mad airport VQPR, i was trying to get it as a waypoint in my route, but i was geting this message "not found". (guess my database for the FMC is REALLY outdated) But anyhow, i just entered the frequency manualy on NAV1 and switched to VOR on the HSI, but no signal! NAV1 is working. i can tune other VOR stations and get signal and Distance from DME. Only this PRO 108.40 is not working on LEVELD. After landing, i then load another generic FSX plane, tune in 108.40 and the thing is working normaly. Also PMDG Jetstream can get the VOR no problem. Does it need to have the VOR in the F…

Hey, I've noticed that FSX runs considerably smoother when running add-on scenery such as PNW. Is this normal? Just curious as to why it would be like this because it's more complex. My computer specs are windows 7 home premium 64 bit intel core i5 3.00GHZ amd hd 7790 8 g ram ... So a decent set up I guess. Just wondering if it would be the same if I ran FSDT vancouver or JFK. Or would that be to intense for my system. If it is what could I improve?

I RECENTLY RELOCATED MY COMPUTER, I HAVE SET IT BACK BUT THERE IS NO INTERNET CONNECTION AVAILABLE. I WENT TO PLAY FSX AND THE GAME WOULD PAUSE DURING SIMULATION. I SPOKE WITH MICROSOFT TECH , THEY ADVIDED UNINSTALL FSX, SHUT COMPUTER DOWN , REBOOT AND REINSTALL. NOW THE GAME STILL PAUSES DURING SIMULATION SOME BUTR THEN THE GAME JUST STOPS WORKING AND GOES BACK TO THE DESKTOP AND FREEZES MY COMPUTER. PLEAS ANY ADVICE AVAILABLE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Need some feedback good and bad about taxi2gate states on facebook release is immenent for KMCO/Orlando.. I have bought many airports from fs dreamteam, fly/tampa, and flightbeam. Have been very happy with all these developers., as well as coming out with new patches, and communication on their forums. I would really like to buy this airport in USA, KMCO/Orlando, but what are your feelings about this developer, related to performance, visual, and communicating with problems. I have been having a LOT of fun with this. I just have a tiny question about Free Flight in the CRJ700 if that is ok? I am trying to do an ILS landing (Aberdeen from Birmingham) and for the life of me I cannot get the ILS to enter a glide path. I am entering the code into the Radio Stack which is 109.9. I am turning on Nav one. I set a WP just in the North Sea heading directly into Aberdeen and I could swear I have everything right. Hello, I recently installed REX Essential Plus OD, it was great but not long after that I realized the cloud is super ugly and squarish in shape. The default cloud is better so I need help on how to fix this. And also, it sometimes appear and re-appear. Hey, Even though I am using P3D, but I am posting here b/c of FSX/P3D both have the Scenery.cfg order, and I am so confused on how this file works. I also have the SceneryConfigtool 1.1. My question - I have a clean install with FS Global Mesh Added. Shouldn't this mesh be the first scenery all the way at the bottom? by default it places somewhere in the middle. I am planning to install some Orbx Sceneries after the mesh. Here is my Scenery.cfg - and can I remove sceneries (uncheck in SceneryConfigTool) which I am not using? And Shouldn't the FS Global Mesh (In Blue Bold) be the Very first entry as it is mesh - instead it comes after Base Sceneries. …

I was just checking captainsim page and saw that they released 1.0 version and 300ER expansion also last week. I was thinking that is this matches the quality of PMDG products? Its kinda pricey so I want to know what you think about it first.

G'day fellow simmers, Long story short after nearly two years decided to return to the world of flight sim. Started with overclocking the hell out of my 3930K on water however it will only do 4.4Ghz safely. Used Word Not Allowed's guide to tweak FSX.cfg and other settings. Everything went smooth and I was very happy with performance purchased REX Direct texture and Essentials plus and Majestic Q400 with all these even in heavy thunderstorm nearly maxed out settings I am getting 20-25 fps so naturally I was over the moon I was finally enjoying my flight sim again. To Resolve It I Have To Format My Hard Drive Every Single TIme As I Dont Know Exactly Whats Going Wrong, I Was Doing Some Flight, It Was All Ok Until Now, The View In FSX Is Stuck. ...and there is no way to maximize it tried alt+tab, clicking the icon in the taskbar, "bring to front" from the task manager...nothing works. this happened suddenly after installing Visual Studio 2010. Any other idea? PS: deleting fsx.cfg helps but would like to avoid it Thank you.

Hope this is O.K. to Post here. I have my own 737-800 cockpit, (run FSX), and use Project Magenta software for my instrumentation. On a spare PC I have, I have recently installed Windows 7 x86 and run a PM Program called 'WhazzUp' on a small monitor within my Sim. This is basically a map showing what ever flight plan I have installed into my FMC. Anyway, although no Key Board or Mouse is plugged into this PC, I have a white Mouse Arrow in center of screen over Map. If I close program, and plug in a mouse, it works quite normally. I have tried everything I know to get rid of it, and have posted a request to Project Magenta, but I think this must be a Windows 'thin…

I bought it, and I think it's very well done. Excellent airport, and nice VFR autogen. Only problem is....the closest airport to Bermuda is over 600+ miles away in North Carolina, on the U.S. East coast. Not that far, but you better have fuel in case you have to go back. Stan

I am trying to get to grips with VOR navigation in the FSX Cessna 172. However when I tune into a known VOR frequency that is within the VOR's range, there is no OBS needle activity, and I cannot get an ident. Am I missing something really fundamental? Incidentally I do have the Nav/GPS button in the NAV position.

Hi can you help me I'm having a problem with my mouse wheel when turning MCP knobs like HDG,ALT,SPD RADIO's and Altimeters.The mouse pointer or hand cursor tends to flicker when turning knobs either on ground or airborne.I have also noticed my knobs they don't seem to turn very smooth and fast they seem to drag. I have done a bit of research regards this problem a lot of posts on the internet referred to be Ezdok conflicting with Fsx mouse settings.I haven't found the solution and I'm still struggling to get this solved.I just want to be able to turn my mouse very smooth and fast without flickering all over the place.Please help I'm stuck....At the moment I'm running: …
