Hello, I have been using fspassengers for a while without problems, and suddenly after i installed fs2crew nxg and pmdg 737 ngx sp1c-every time i start fsx while it's loading, it says : "Flight simulator has detected a problem with a third party software program (add-on): Name: fspassengersx version: 1.0.0.0 file: FsPassengersx.dll" etc. If i allow it to run, fsx crashes (fatal error) a few seconds later. What should i do? I have been trying to uninstall fs2crew, pmdg 737 but no luck.. Please help! Thanks

I'm just now paused in a flight between CYYB (North Bay, Ontario,Canada) and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Michigan, USA, inside the cockpit of my now favorite VFR sled...the Cessna SkyMaster 377 put out by Carenado. (modified by adding a turbo to the engine...beautiful....) I'm following the coast of Lake Huron, northwest and will take this flight at around 1,800 just off the coastline for some good FSX-G VFR'ing. There is so much detail that is missed when flying at higher altitudes. I do most of my flying in the United States and Mexico. I use Ftx global with FSX and was wondering what addon would make the most sense in using for these areas, Utx, FTX vector or stay with FSX default roads coastline Exc. I fly during the day and at night equally. The least impact on frame rate is important of course. Any input would be greatly appreciated

Ever get tired of all the choices on how to enhance your FSX experience? “Autogen” this “Shader” that “Density” this and “Reflection” that? What about “Buffer” settings and “Fixers”? We chase the holy grail of FSX experience most of our time to what end? Why can’t I buy a weather engine that doesn’t require tweaking and textures that have a million choices of “Clouds”, “Waves”, “Asphalt”, “Colors” and what not? What happened to “as real as it gets”? For once I would like to install an enhancement that makes the choices that resemble real life for you. I just want it to look real. Just had an email from FSGenesis advertising their limited time Spring Sale, which at up to 60% off seems a good buy. Installed in FSX I have UT USA and UT Canada plus US West coast Orbx scenery. Question is will FSGenesis ALL N.AMERICA mesh be compatible. Reading through some forums, it would seem that Justin Tyme is no longer "FSGenesis" and is now run by a Company in Utah, but their web page doesn't show any screenshots etc.,to compare. I have FSG installed with FS9, but as things have moved on since then, I would appreciate any helpful views. Regards Echofox

I am trying to run LFPG and LFPO from Aerosoft together, but on approach about 5 miles from LFPG, my fsx gives me an out of memory error. Is it possible to run these great sceneries together? Or does that hit the limit of what FSX was designed for?

I recently went back to FSX DX10 (after originally using P3Dv2 and Opus which worked fine) and have found that with DHM enabled the controls can often become unresponsive, and by that I mean that I have to move the joystick right to the very edge of it's travel before the plane will respond - it feels as though there is a massive deadzone. When I turn DHM off, or switch to an external view, then the controls go back to normal. I have a hunch that this is something to do with FSUIPC as that is what I use for my controls to circumvent the Windows 8 joystick issues. But then again it worked fine with P3Dv2. Also, I found the autopilot has trouble controlling the plan…

First, let me say I'm coming over from EZdok. I find Opus to be much more complicated and, as a newbie, I feel pretty lost. I am reading the camera .pdf file. I created two 3D views so far, a Captain View and an Autopilot View. I've assigned the key 'c' for captain view and 'a' for the other. However, when I press c or a nothing happens. Spy shows the key presses registered ok but my cockpit view does not change. Also, my joy stick pan button does not pan around in the view (I use the camera dialog to select the captain view) and I can't easily zoom in and out. Dear simmers, From time to time I run into an issue at random times, but not everytime I use FS, so it not that annoying but does happen more than I wish and therefore I would like to fix this issue. Some help and suggestions would be great! Flight Simulator hangs at the loading air, sea and land traffic window... I can hear the noise in the background but I can't get the sim to continue; it hangs. Usually this happens when it has to reload because of a time sync. Any ideas what may cause this? Ages ago, i think it must have been with MSFS2002 or perhaps earlier, i had some airport scenery that included a road vehicle, an automoble with the intent to drive on the airport tarmac, i remember now, it was a follow-me car.! You could start a free flight in MSFS and select that car to drive yourself. It's funny how immersive a visit to a destination can become when you spend some time just LEAVING the airport and trying to drive to the city centre, By following the roads youll be surprised how many realistic views you can get trying to follow a high road. Hi Guys, I just bought PFE as I heard so much positive words about it. It installed fine along with the FS2000 but whenever I click on "Select New ADV" I get a runtime error message 52 saying bad file name or number! I am confused and tried to contact the developer. Hi guys. I have a countless amount of addons and it's getting too much. I have a tons airport, REX essential as my real-weather engine, REX 4 for the textures, EZCA, and I could continue forever. What I want is some kind of addon like FSGlobal that covers the whole world. It's simple too much with 4 different regions of Ground Environment X and UTX. I hope you guys can help me. I want to start all over because right now it feels so messy. When operating FSX I sometimes find that the drop down and right click menus on FSX are grayed out with no readable text making selecting options near impossible (i.e. changing airport). Sometime later the menu text reappears.

For some reason, the mouse cursor has been flashing/blinking rapidly when FSX is on the screen. It's almost as if some other program is trying to load, but I don't think this is the case. This only happens in full-screen mode, not in windowed mode. Since I prefer to fly in full-screen mode, I'd like to resolve this problem. Anyone know what's causing this, or what might be a possible cause? Thanks.

After many, many years of doing flights on FSX, I never managed to attempt a transatlantic flight. After getting the PMDG 777 last year, I finally decided to give it a whirl. I successfully completed a flight from JFK to LHR in the PMDG 777 earlier tonight. I did speed up the sim rate at cruise to 8X to help speed things up. I am a simmer who loves the in depth systems of the 777 and the planning that goes into a flight this length. I will be doing many more transatlantic flight in the future! Maybe I'll have to try LAX to SYD, too!

Ok folks, when we were doing our turn in KMDW today(May 7) I was checking some of the forum. I know I saw a thread by Chris Bell, that showed some sort of comparison of Orbx and the night lighting stuff. I don't see it anywhere. Did I imagine that thread? Tried to view the pics, but wouldn't show up o Iphone. Any info appreciated, or link to the pics. Thanks David

Hello, I just installed vpilot and I think it's great! A lot better than FSINN or squawkbox IMO. Only problem is, it doesn't display traffic properly even though I installed the IVAO MTL (entire library). It sometimes diplays a C172, or a 737, but 95% of the time it's the A321 (all aircraft in white livery). How do I fix this? And I have the IVAO downloaded rule set, however, when i installed it only 1 item was installed, I thought there would be more. Thanks!

(change your time of day to Dusk) I highly recommend, this flight plan...at this time, and day. If you can't take the flight right now, use historic mode in your weather generator; and start Microsoft Flight Simulator X. Place your plane at Toronto City Centre (CYTZ) and enjoy the dusk to night transition flight to a very beautiful place in Ontario, Canada.... Watch your approach to CYYB, as it sits on an escarpment... Cheers!

I have P3Dv2.2 install on the D drive of my computer. I have installed OpusFsx on the C Drive. I have read the getting started guide and have an issue. When I go to run the FsxServer program and error message pops up stating "System.TypeInitializationException:the type initializer for 'bn' threw an exception. --System.IO.FileNot Found Exception." Can someone please help me with this. I have a single computer only with nothing but P3Dv2 on it. Thanks, Justin

Inspired by Flightbeam's new KDEN I decided I'd like to TRY to get into airliners. My background is all in GA (in real life) and 99% of my flying is GA related in FSX. The closest thing to airliner flying I do is to fly the NGX, but I always fly under a N number and I always park at the GA ramps on the airport (treating it like a private jet). It's funny how I buy a beautiful addon airport but only ever park at one tiny FBO/ramp... there's a whole airport to explore and I never do. Another reason why I've chosen to stick with GA is short flights.... with two crazy kids I limit my flights to absolute max of 2 hours - 1 hour is preferable. So what addons rea…

Hey there, I have my FPS limited to 30 through Nvidia Inspector and set to unlimited in FSX. When I made that change I saw a massive increase in smoothness throughout my experience. However, more often than not I see my fps going through wild swings like 30 to 45 down to 20 back to 40 etc... It looks like it's trying to keep it around 30, but is this a normal issue that people see? Shouldn't it just 'peg' at 30 and if it fluctuates at all be 'limited' to >30? I just want to know if I've done something wrong or if everyone sees this. Thanks!

Hi, I am using FSX with a steering wheel, and if i connect it before i start FSX-everything works fine. But when i am connecting the wheel in mid flight it doesn't recognize it (it works ith EZDok, the computer recognizes the wheel in the control panel ,but FSX doesn't). Any ideas? Thanks (I am in mid flight with fspassengers and i can't save the flight.. so i have to connect the wheel without exiting FSX) Update: now fsx crashed! The fault module is d3d9.dll (i exited EZdok and it crashed). How do i prevent this? Do i need to disable ENbseries?
