Anyone using Ultimate Airport Environment?It says it does not change add on airports I am assuming this means AFCADS.I do a lot of GA flying into small airports.Thanks for any help.Ron

Yet another quite expensive airport addon has appeared - Narita International from developers I haven't heard of before called Wing Creation. Screenshots here look pretty impressive but I just wondered if anyone has an experience of this? Once again I am very reluctant to fork out this sort of money on a single airport addon, even if the quality is astounding. If this is going to be the future trend, then I think many of us will be priced out of this hobby (certainly I will when I retire from work) and indeed it might be counter-productive for developers in terms of total sales. When asked by fsx to install to another folder, I selected E:\Program files(etc) under more options When the install began, I noticed that it was going to my C drive. I have fsx on my C drive. PS: The fsx disks loaded okay except at the end of disk 2, there was a error message about a missing dll file. I was still able to run fsx using file explorer. Also, because of the error message, I could not load the acceleration disk. John

This one is killing me. I am running Maddog 2008 with the sp2 update. Like the title states, the exterior model is fine at night, but completely disappears at daytime. I have reinstalled several times with no change. DX10 is not checked, and all shadows are off. I have no issues with anything else. Help!

Hi folks The other day I was flying in a real Airbus and lucky enough to be positioned in the plane to get a good view of the cockpit. One thing struck me is how the instrument panel leans toward the pilots from top to bottom. Now I have seen some good camera work for this effect with the NXG using the Opus cameras but as hard as I try I cannot replicate with the Airbus I am either to high to low etc. Could I kindly ask if anyone has some good camera definitions for this aircraft I might use otherwise the panel looks a bit flat. It could be that the NXG was just produced in a better way. Many thanks

My 747 will not reengage and track a GPS setting from a 'save' and 'load' continuation of the flight. It will track 'heading ' only.

Over the years, many have reported this phenomenon, especially on Short Final. I had tried just about everything to deal with it and till recently, always had to Save the flight when nearing my destination, exit FSX then restart/load the flight. This was the only way to keep my frames up (i.e. for a stutter-free approach). All other efforts proved entirely fruitless, apart from reducing my monitor resolution a few notches which helped keep the frames in the teens, rather than flicking into the single digits. After taking advice from a number of posters here, I upgraded my CPU, added a SSD and changed to a 64 bit operating system. Went from averaging 30 FPS to well over 120, so it was a success. However, I purchased a 120GB SSD and it's already close filled with just the operating system, FSX, Orbx add-ons and REX. I think I'll switch REX to the traditional hard drive as I only use it to load textures. Anyone suggest something I can do to free up additional SSD space?

Hi all, I'm new here. I have been looking for a solution to my problem with FSX in internet but I haven't found anything, so, here is the question. Just after installing Beetle Print Experience X v1.20, my World of AI don't work correctly. When I go to a night fly, and therefore cities, towns, roads, etc night lights are on, the WOAI planes are all minus one on ground. And also, they don't move over time. It's seems like they cannot log in, load their flight plans due to incompatibility with Experience X. I currently have FSX Deluxe Edition that was purchased years back when it first went on the market. I changed computers a year ago and when I tried to reinstall FSX it wouldn't accept the product key. When talking with Microsoft they said that the time had "expired" on my product key and they had to issue me another with the understanding that getting a new key would be necessary every time I needed to reinstall onto another computer. I recently purchased FSX Gold Edition from Amazon so I could have a spare in the event I would need reinstall. Hi Majestic, Would it possible to add an optional 'click' sound, for simulation purposes, for the power levers when they are placed at the Rating detent? When using physical throttles (saitek on mine) I think having an audible indication that we have entered the detent would greatly aid in setting the power to make sure we aren't pushing it into the Overtravel region by mistake, since there is no tactile indication of such on our own quadrant.

Can anyone tell me how I can start a new flight from where I left off after I exit FSX? I want to fly a series of legs on my flight but not at one sitting...

I am new to MS Flight Simulator X and am having a problem with trim. Flying the Cessna 172 the trim on buttons 1 and 7 does not work. The Num lock is off -------I did learn that little trick. In trying to resolve the problem I found that Ctrl-T would get trim working to some extent but when I get the trim wheel to move towards nose down it would make an uncommanded move back to 19.5 degrees nose up once I released the button. I have to fly holding nose down pressure. John

What if you change your airplane directory ? To set up Ezca, how to do it, if you moved your plane directory to an other drive ?

I added Vancouver Plus to my Orbx PNW scenery and it doesn't look like a better replacement for the Vancouver area. Is anyone else disappointed especially with the performance? I am going back to just Orbx PNW. At FSDT CYVR my framerates are single digits. Why is Vplus worse than PNW?
