sorry if this is in the wrong forum but i have posted to simforums with no response that sight is a joke. i've had 3 topics unanswered. ok here goes i'm running v1.17 and whenever i exit full screen fsx freezes but the game is still playing untill i press alt enter and go back to full screen and the game runs again? this happens in window mode does anyone else suffer from this it was fine before untill i done a reinstall and installed v1.17. I've had v1.17 for many months without this problem untill tonight when i had to reinstall it. thanks

Recently I downloaded the Fokker Fellowship F28 2004 with updates from AVSIM.I have included the aircraft.cfg. Some popup problems when looking at a few of the buildings from different angles. But my main problem is there is no flatten file, so 05L is on a high ledge and 05R is over some small hills. Does someone have a flatten file that will smooth out the terrain around this airport? Thank you!

I'm just wondering why someone wouldn't make a nice Gulfstream payware. Before you say its not legal, I know. But that's using Gulfstream. I think all liability would be deferred if you changed the name and model. The windows could be a little more rounded, flight yoke just slightly different. I would pay around $50 for a good G650, and probably another 40 for a good G550.

What do you think the most realistic zoom settings are, both for in the VC and also for setting up wingviews? Thanks

Hello everyone! This is my first post here! First off I've been an avid simmer for the past 3 - 4 months and I'm loving it. I recently got into flying the PMDG 737 and love it. I'm planning to buy the PMDG 777 when it comes out on disc, (20th June I think) and noticed a feature I really like, the Time Compression feature. I can't wait to try it out and I was wondering whether you guys know any free software that would speed up the simulation rate without making the aircraft wobble all over the place. the default feature often creates havoc for both freeware and payware. Hi all, I've been thinking about getting the A2A C172. The reviews are solid and seems like a good airplane. Thing is, I generally fly airplanes with at least a variable prop pitch. (I wish A2A would do another single-engine GA...Mooney, C210 or something) I'm a RW VFR PA28, C182 pilot...haven't flown for many years. I fly the Dukes and the Flight1 Mustang in the sim. So, I guess I would get it for sightseeing, practicing navigation, group flying, etc...perhaps remembering the basics. Just looking for some advice from like-minded folks. Gregg

Hi I use FSX, and i have found a few airports with trees everywhere so they are unusable - for example SEQU - should be an image below. Any idea why? and how i remove the trees? There's a company running a sale , one C-17 is reduced in price, the other is regular price. I don't care about the price, just want to get the better one. If anyone here has one let me know what you think. Thanks

Hey Guys Here is Accusim 2.0 http://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=40084 This update mostly affects the C-172, however it also affects the P-51(Mil and Civ), P-40, and Spitfire too. For P3D users you need to get the new P3D C172 installer as noted before. The Cherokee release should follow shortly. Cheers TJ

OK, so let's preface this with the fact that I know I am running a lot of addons and asking a lot of my sim, however I still think I have an issue. I've currently just loaded up a flight, sat in the Aerosoft A320 at a gate at London Heathrow (UK2000 v3) I have ActiveSky injecting weather, UT2 adding some AI aircraft (set to 15% in game density and 75% in UT2) and REX providing textures, however I have TML set to 1024 so as to try and save some frames there. I am getting 4-6 FPS sat in the VC at the gate. Literally un-useable in that condition. I've just shut down the sim out of sheer frustration. I have never had an OOM before but I have always used a bufferpool setting and a rejectthreshold, but I tried the BP=0 tweak and did find that my sim became much smoother with no artifacts instead of useing a Bufferpool setting but I have now seen a lot of I guess ding sounds at the end of flights advising me of a possible CTD, which has happened that never did before, so my question is, is it possible that BP=0 can cause this issue? Tried to install FSX on to my new build today and all went smooth until activation time. An invalid error came up and I have tried everything in the book, I've called and they couldn't help, I unchecked the Compatibility box, and I've completely re-installed. I am at a loss of where to go here. Any help would be appreciated!

When selecting some airports I get a long pause, about 15-20 seconds, before it loads back to the menu where I can click fly now. This does not happen with most airports. Does anyone have an idea what it might be causing it?

In the past year, I have bought close to 70 airports from a European flight sim retail site where I buy mostly airports from small developers (I buy flight sim products from multiple retailers). In the last batch of five which I bought from that site a month ago, two were by the same developer and the other three each by different developers. The downloads of those three went without a hitch (as had every other download previously purchased from that retailer) but the two from the one developer would not even start to download (the download progress indicator on my computer remained at "0 MB") even though I subsequently and successfully did further downloads of other prod…

Long story short, I downloaded the demo and gave it a try. The current I have is December 2008. Is the software still being developed upon and updated? I'd like to know prior to spending the money on it?

Just bought this great airport, but as the MDESIGN website is Russian I thought that I would ask here first. There are options for the different seasons, I copied end pasted the Winter files in the Scenery & Texture folders as stated in the word pad info. In winter I have the snow textures surrounding the airport but not on the airport buildings or runways etc, if I change the season to the summer time there is no snow. On SimMarket there are several photo's including on with the ground snow. I have an attachment but I do not know how to show it. Has anyone else bought this airport and has the same issue as me.

So I have just found out that the terrain at some of the airports is covering the runway, making it had to taxi and takeoff: Has anyone else had this problem? is there a solution for it? thanks for your help.

In the last 2-3 weeks, REX E Plus OD does not download weather. No error messages. Trying to fix it, getting crazy.. After download finishes, I check a METAR in Weather Tab, nothing is found. Moreover, no map... I tried launching FSX and checking whether there is any weather injection, no, nothing. Uninstalled and clean reinstalled 2-3 times, no change.. Note: Windows Defender, Anti virus and Windows Account Control disabled. I am not sure whether this is my problem or common. Thanks.
