I have dis-abled the ATC Window from coming up at the beginning of every flight. It even comes up at the beginning of my DEFAULT flight. What's going on? This never happened to me before...and as I've said I've disabled it in the general setting Any clue on how to do this would save me a lot of aggravation. Thanks. Stan

I am running Active Sky Next for my weather engine and REX 4 for my cloud textures. Now ASN is supposed to tell FSX where to position the clouds in respect of the live weather mode. However,the rendering of the clouds is not happening correctly and as an example when flying at say30,000 feet I see clear grounds below with no cumulus clouds when the weather engine states overcast clouds below etc. Now,I believe that this is an FSX problem and I am wondering whether anyone might be able to point me in the right direction as to where this issue may be arising from within FSX. I can only open the main door to all of my planes. In FSX Controls , I see only one option for doors. In FSUIPC 4 , I can't find anything on doors. What's the secrete ?

Using Client live view, a pilot left view and copilot right view camera is set for each aircraft. FSX is configured as 2D and 100 transparent. The camera configurations are sometimes set 2D and other times VC. I really do not see much difference in those settings other than zoom differences. Anyway - I am having problems with A2A C172 trainer. It is the only aircraft that will not communicate flap positions to the Client. (ie: the flaps are always up). Is anyone else having a problem with that?

In the FPL of the FMS I input the required ALT at each ISEC. The I go to VANAV and there is an X in front of each ALT instead of a down arrow. I am sure that I am missing a step...Thanks in advance for your help! Mark

It's not a perfect replica but it's pretty close. Oddly enough that little silver icon above the N number on the real plane is much lower on the empenage on the other side. I've been FS simming for almost 15 years so have some clue as to how this stuff works, but have only been using FSX for about 6 weeks when i upgraded my PC. I am presently having trouble adding scenery to the scenery.cfg within the FSX GUI. I install scenery to the addon scenery directory, navigate to it, then select the files where the bgls are located. however FSX routinely tells me there are no files that match my selection. What is this? I also tried creating a separate directory outside of FSX with scenery in it, that I used to be able to use nicely under FS9. Same problem. FSX wont let me add scenery as far as I can tell. I do have it running under…

Hi I don't want to use Mouse Yoke on FSX. But that is sometime, engaged when adjusting the Knobs by right click. Unwanted the Mouse Yoke could to increase B777 Freighter and other plane's Pitch axis or Bank angle to crack fragile goods and a passenger to make vomit. So I'm finding methods to disabling mouse yoke. have a solution?

Hello chaps. thinking of getting fstramp but if i remember correctly when it first came out it had CTD issues in full screen. can someone advise if this is still the case. Can someone else also confirm if the airac data on it is only navigraph or doesn't the aerosoft navdata pro have a section for it ?? many thanks in advanced.

For me: ORBX Open LC EU and NA - these will be massive gamechangers for me. The development shots from EU look stunning, and it will take much monotony out of high altitude flying over Europe and North America, with the repetitive textures of the default LC. Then in terms of individual airports, there are a number that I'm looking forward to. FSDG are working on a new Copenhagen and Amsterdam Schiphol which are both long overdue an upgrade to today's development standards, with the old offerings looking dated and not very resource efficient. Hello, I'm having some trouble with the sid and start report. I load a flight plan (KSEA - KPDX), start the flight, select SID and STAR report from the sim menu and I get - "no SID and STAR data found" in the report. Using OPUS 3.47.0 with P3D v2.2. Under flight plan options I point to a folder that contains the following Nav data files: apps.txt apts.txt awys.txt cycle_info.txt int.txt navs.txt sids.txt stars.txt AIRAC cycle : 1205 (from Qualitywings) Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Hello. So, I find myself in a different position then I've ever been in before with regards to flight simming. For the most part, I've stuck to one aircraft type and have flown it exclusively for long periods of time for one airline. As part of that, I would stick to one geographic region as well. For example, I used to fly only SWA routes with the NGX obviously in the U.S. only. Then, I stayed with the NGX but moved to Europe and flew exclusively Norwegian routes. I have seen the existence of such textures mentioned in previous posts, but I am on a mobile and the forum search function yielded no results for me. Why is Air Hauler so addictive? Anyway, I'm playing at hard difficulty with a base in the French Alps to see the great FTX Global textures and the FSGRW weather engine. Started with the Real Air Legacy because that's my favorite to fly. The problem is it is hardly a cargo plane. So, for my next plane I'd like something larger but still manageable and fun to fly. I'm leaning toward the Carenado Gand Caravan. Any recommendations for it or a similar plane? Good visibility is important, as I do a lot of VFR. Hi guys, I have a question, which not sure what forum to put this, so I am starting here. Mainly I am trying to track down the start of where to fix the issue noted below. May or may not be FTX related, so am looking for general advice. I am not sure if this a REX issue, an FSX issue or possibly an Orbx FTX Global or Vector problem. I have a problem where when I put the gear up, the view changes to behind the airplane. I deleted all my view shortcuts but the problem remains. I notice when I right mouse click on the screen, one of the selections is OPUS FSX Extenal View. This is the view I see when i put the gear up. I currently have OPUS uninstalled as a test to run down this problem. How to I rid my self of the external view? Thanks, Brad
