I'm assuming that in this case I no longer need Rex 3? Can I safely just uninstall, or does it have ties in with my current textures, even though I've only used Rex 4 lately?

I recently bought yoke & quadrant and then combat rudder pedals. I thought I had everything set up properly, but when trying to take off with some planes I can not keep the plane straight. Also some are difficult to taxi. I have tried both (toe) brake steering and rudder steering. Auto rudder is off. I have re-calibrated. more than once. I do think I need to adjust sensitivity and null area for the toe brakes which are sometimes activated with hard rudder pedal movements. Anyone experience similar problems where you found out the fix?

Hey all. I noticed this on EFB yesterday and I can't for the life of my figure out how to resolve the issue. For EGPD, EFB is displaying this: Which is obviously wrong. I've got no addon scenery for this airport and only use REX and FTX Global + Vector in regards to graphical addons. Something else to note, FMCs also have the runways listed. A similar thing is happening at EGLL (w/ UK2000 Heathrow Xtreme). Runways are fine but the taxiways are all over the place. So far I've tried the "simulator scenery data update" in EFB but it hasn't changed anything. Has anyone got any pointers on how to resolve this problem?

I am looking to add these two planes to my collection. I am looking for opinions on what companies have created the best of these two aircraft? They don't need to be PMDG complex but I would like there to be some learning curve to them.

I have tried everything I could but for some reason I cannot get the airport in the right place. This is the default airport but as you can see that the runway is no where near where the plane should be landing. i can also see that in the patch of grassy area that the plane is landing on has some airport and runway signs on the ground like the airport was picked up and moved to the right. If anyone can help me with this problem I would greatly appreciate it. Hi all! So, i've had FSUIPC since January and it has worked fine until the last week where i got a little problem. My buttons, yoke and Throttle, wont recognize in the FSUIPC. Never experienced it before. Even my Keyboard wont recognize on fsuipc. But when i go to the ''Joystick Calibration'' page where you can try the Yoke system. Its all fine. Then in Axis page the yoke doesnt work or any other buttons. Im really upset with this and i have the latest version such as Compatibility mode set to Winows Vista (Service pack 2) Thanks!

Does anyone know any of the group at FSD International? I recently purchased the P-38 Lightning for FSX, which I really enjoy, but it has a few problems I would like to report. Unfortunately, my registration on their forum system didn't work right or there is a problem with the automation, because I never received a password confirmation. I'm looking to program a joystick button so that I can press it when on short final and have the A/P disengage so that I can hand fly the final stages of the approach. I have assigned the button to disengage the autopilot, which it does, but it then sends an alarm going in the NGX that I cannot clear without clicking on a switch in the VC with the mouse, which is what I was trying to avoid having to so in the first place! Does anyone know how to get the freeware PSPanels 737NG panel to work in FSX - the setup program tries to set it up for FS9 - I got it half working - all the panels but no buttons visible and no mouse-overs. If I try any more I just know I'll break something. Thanks in advance. V

Hi guys.... All of a sudden the Rudder of my planes tends to go to the right and I have not been able to "tune it" again to center. I was on a flight recently on a Jetstream and the pilot let me spend some time in the cockpit. This aircraft did not have an auto pilot but the GPS displayed the course to get onto the final approach. The pilot followed the curved cline on the GPS right on to Final and I was wondering if this is possible to do in FSX or P3D with the default GPS? Thanks,

I do not know if anybody on this forum can help me.I am using the Garmin FS2X G1000 package and installed it into the Mooney Bravo. Garmin has a forum ( www.fs2X.com ) but it is closed,my be only temporarily. Now here is the problem : I enter the frequency of a VOR station into Nav1 and Nav2 but there is no beep tone when approaching the VOR. My question : is anybody running/using the same Garmin package as above and does Nav1,Nav2 create a beep tone ? The COM works well,I can enter a ATIS frequency and listen to it. I found out that generic textures don't cut it for me anymore. Not even the good ones like FTX. I am tired of seeing the same textures everywhere I go. Right now I am having fun above Horizon's VFR GenX (England and Wales) but I wonder what is considered to be the BEST photorealistic scenery around! The new Tongass Fjords looked interesting, but I found out it'a also mainly generic textures. I want everything as real as it can be, so... which addon should I get? Or is Horizon's VFR GenX already the best...?

While taxiing at KSFO this mourning while half way My Majestic Twin Otter started going in circles. All moving control surfaces failed. My throttle still functioned. At the beginning of the flight My EZDOC Cameras worked in the cockpit ( controlled by buttons on the joystick ). None of the outside cameras worked ( controlled by My Keyboard ) . This has happened in the past while in flight. At that time I was using Plan G. I turned off Plan G and regained my controls. As a result I un installed Plan G thinking that was the problem. I have the ES CJ1 v1 and am interested in purchasing v2. V1 of this aircraft does not have tinted windows but v2 does. I'm not a fan of tinted windows in FSX aircraft (makes the outside world too dim, IMO) and am wondering if there is way to "turn off" this option via a menu selection. The Carenado Caravan, as one example, does allow this. Thanks for any information.

I have a problem with Ezdok whereby I set up a custom camera, assign it to a joystick button, and then that view changes slightly during the flight. For example, I have a view set up which is just a top down view of the FMC in the virtual cockpit. Before the flight I entered this view by clicking my joystick button, then programmed my flight. I'm now mid-flight and have gone to look at the FMC again so have pressed my joystick button, and the view has shifted. Now, instead of the FMC being centred in my view, it's 2 inches to the left and a bit higher, meaning half of the FMC is now "out of shot". Has anyone else had this? I have just downloaded two freeware terrain mesh data, FSX Alps 38m and FSX France 38m by Raimondo Taburet and Emile De Mesmaeker. These seem to overlap so can I use both meshes at the same time in FSX by activating them in the Scenery Library.
