Hey guys, So i recieved Track IR 5 today, im using the clip that goes on my hat instead of the clip that goes on the headphone... Although i am having a little bit of trouble... It seems really good, but when i go to move my head to the left or right when it gets to a certain part it kind of just pauses and freezes, then resets itself back to the centre.. Why is it doing this? Does anyone have a profile i can use for the FSX aircraft like the NGX ect Edit - I noticed when it freezes the 2 yellow lights on top of my monitor one of them disapears

I need some guidance and orientation on how to procede here. In my newly set up FSX (just moved from FS9) I want to have the following: -. improved ground textures - correct coast lines, lakes, etc - fantastic mesh especially for mountain regions (Alps, Rockies, Andes, Himalaya) - adding "landmarks" like harbours, famous buildings, etc. I have looked through several webpages by FTX, Pilots!, Flight 1. And I am confused about which one to buy. I am getting strange FSX Fatal error on start up which is related to visualfx.dll . The strange part is it occurs on starting FSX and sometime it does not occur at all but that happens very rarely! I have tons of addons installed, I want to try everything not to do re-install that would take me a lot of time, Also my FSX was nicely setup! :mellow: I don't have any corrupt logbook I have deleted/refreshed FSX.cfg I have done FSX reg repair, I am using latest FSX accel pack. I am posting this in the FSX forum, because I am not sure what the work around will be. This is the issue at hand; 1. click on "Scenery Config Editor" select airport "A". 2. click on FSX.exe and select airport "A". 3. airport "A" has no AES support. 4. click on AEShelp.exe. AES sees airport "A" and asks to "Activate" it. 5. activate airport "A" in AES. AES says activation will take on next FSX startup. 6. close AES and FSX. 7. click on FSX and select airport "A", now have AES support for airport "A". 8. finish flying FSX and close program. 9. click on "Scenery Config Editor" deselect airport "A". 10. in "Scenery Config Editor" select airport "B".…

I am a flight sim enthusiast and have recently been really interested in flying in the Beech 18. I'm on the hunt for the best (for me) Beech 18 addon for (preferrably) FSX or FS2004. I've settled on Vladimir Gonchar's "Touch O' Texas" civilian version of the freeware Milton Shupe model, which has been ported over to FSX from FS2004. Hi , I have FSX and use FSRealWx Lite as the weather engine. I can see that it injects the weather into FSX, however, when I come into an airport or at an airport and tune into the ATIS, the data I get from the ATIS is different to what FSRealWx Lite is showing me. Question is where does FSX ATIS get its weather from and how can it be made to take the data coming from the weather program. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks Hari

Hi, I would just like to know what the thoughts are on REXESS and ASN weather engine as I am using REXESS/OD textures only and ASN weather engine so should all the weather settings be unchecked in REX as to not create any conflict with ASN?, if you dont use REX weather engine does it matter?. It isn't exactly a heavy, but its wide wings seem like it would be too big to fit in a medium parking spot, so where would it have been parked in real life?

I have tried all night to get FSX ATC to preface clearances with "Lear" or "LearJet". All ATC will use is "Bombardier". I have reinstalled Edit voice pack V 4.0 but no joy. I have hit all the forums and they say to change to first 2 lines in the [GENERAL] section. I have tried every combination in the book. BTW is there a second config. somewhere else? Hi all! I'm wondering if there's any way of getting the "Cockpit to ground, we are ready for pushback" function in FS2Crew to function with the animated pushback of either GSX or AES. Its to unrealistic just to use FS2Crew cause then you don't see any car pushing you out from the gate. But again, using just GSX or AES is also very unrealistic since then you can only press the correct commands instead of using your voice to contact ground personnel. Any thoughts? I know FS2Crew has an "AES" button, but I can't get the pushback sequence to align.

Hello, All of sudden out of the blue this morning the red line containing metars and coordinates appeared, Can anyone tell me how to remove them from FSX, I searched for about an hour this morning and couldn't find anything, I tried to screenshot it but no luck, It's still there right now, It says, "LAT: N41` 58.47 LON: W87` 53.92, ALT: 675.FT MSL MAG 24 0.0 KIAS WIND 124 MAG @ 24KTS". Hi guys! I bought Rex 4 Texture Direct and i have experienced very low performance on the clouds, my TEXTURE MAX LOAD is set to 4096 but its still very bad. Do anyone have clue what the problem might be, i got ASN but i have tried to disabled it and looked if it did any change but it didnt. I'm getting this in late afternoon, which obviously looks wrong. Is there a way to delay the night textures? Looks very good at night of course.

Is this true? I heard there are only 4096 pixel textures and therefore pretty hard on medium and low end computers. I was very close to buying it but this single statement completely turned me off from buying this airplane. Why in the world can't you also provide low res 1024 textures? I imagine there are more people running FSX/P3D on "normal" computers than some monster machines needed to run such hi res textures. Or is this information I heard wrong?

i have recently reinstalled my fsx...a clean installation right from the scratch, i first installed all the orbx products that i have, latest would be vector 1.10... after this i installed the dx10 fixer and then started my other scenery installations like aerosoft, flytampa etc.. now the problem is i get errors while loading the scenery for eg i recently installed the flytampa hongkong .. installation is perfect n without a problem but while loading the scenery there are some errors that read failed to load fence1.dds and 2nd error would be failed to load shadows1.dds..but once loaded everything is fine.. i have no clue how to resolve it.. it never use to show up anyti…
