Hi,Can someone help me out please?In the A321 I can click on the NAV1 indicator and then click on the knob to change the frequency, however, only the digits after the .xx are changed. I cannot change the 117 to 108 etc. using the mouse. I found it's possible to do so using the keyboard, but I rarely use the keyboard for changing frequencies etc. Is there some trick to using the mouse and changing the NAV frequency?Thanks,Shug

The combination of fidelity, performance and the challenging short-haul sectors flown by the real thing makes it the best airliner sim for FSX in my book. Just wondering if there's any way I can find out what added a WOAI package that corrupted my own custom AI and added its own path in the FSX .cfg. Added several AI planes in my main simobjects folder when I make sure all my AI stuff is in a seperate folder to avoid clutter, with its own path. Also a WOAI folder in the main FSX folder which I only found when I checked what was happening in the .cfg file. Still racking my brains to try and remember what I installed but it certainly wasn't a WOAI package as all my AI is custom by AIG and others. As requested by some users, I have recorded a new set of sound files to replace the (somewhat robotic) voices of the Pushback Crew within FSDT's Ground Services X (GSX). The sound files were recorded professionally, but have 'intercom' distortion effects added to emulate the sound of the Ground to Flight Deck Intercom in a real airliner. I want to fly, but first in order to do that I've got to keep FSX from going haywire, which apparently takes 2 hours, and I haven't even backed out of the gate. This game sure has a lot of headaches.

Hi there! I noticed a very weird problem on my FSX. I am enroute to Greece at the moment and my textures are really fuzzy. It happens almost on every flight to Poland as well. I thought is could have to do with the fact I never had defragmented my HDD but I have done this yesterday, nevertheless that problem has not end. This weird fuzzy textures do not appear on every flight but it happens at most of them. Attached two screens, do you see any solution for that problem? I do not use any separate ground textures just the default one and I have normal WD HDD not SSD as memory I use 8GB on 64Bit WIN7.

Have 2 HD's, the second has FS9 & FSX plus several aircraft, MSE & other photo sceneries, UT terrain, ground environments, Mega Airports, FSGlobal 2008, ORBX Aust. etc. etc. This HD is now running out of space , it may be possible to add a third HD. Do not want to re-install FS9 & FSX, prefer to move scenery like the above mentioned add-ons to the new disc. I know it will probably not remove stuttering when in "high density" areas which I have now. Any suggestions if this is possible and which sceneries must be on same disc as the FlightSim"s.

Hi, There is a well known issue of shifting point of view in the virtual cockpit when turning, this is more apparent in the PMDG 777 due to its length. The following is stated on the OpusFSX product page: The Set Camera feature within Live Camera Control sets temporary adjustments to views. This is useful to overcome the FSX bug which shifts the camera view slightly at different locations in the world. Does this feature resolve the problem of shifting POV when turning corners, or is this just a one off adjustment? Thanks

Hey all, Completed my i7 4790k build this week, followed Nick's guide and installed FSX and FSUIPC and fired it up. Had a few test flights and wanted to share my results. I first want to say I haven't flight simmed in a few years however, I am kind of disappointed in FSX. I am very happy with the system I boot it up and am flying in less than a minute. I have almost all my sliders up with the exception of traffic and I am not happy at all with the scenery/graphics. It seems very fake and it's hard to even see the airport further than 10 miles, yet alone runway lines from any further than 4 miles. Is this normal? What must have scenery stuff should I st…

Hello fliers, I have a cargo business in the add on software Air Hauler and up until now I have been using GA aircraft for my cargo hauling business. I would like to step up to a medium cargo jet now. I am thinking about a Boeing 737 short body. I have flown the FSX default 737 but I would like a little something better (payware). I don't need an aircraft that is real complex such as flight management data and all that. Just something I can load a flight plan, start up and fly. I fly Western half of US and Canada only. Not real long range. Does someone offer a 737 for beginners that in not all that complex? Any advice will be very appreciated.

Hello, MY new Majestic Q400 bounces around the airport when I start it up. I always start with the "complex startup" and all is fine. I then load the Q400 and it is "bouncing" around the start point - into the air. I can usually stop it with a reset of the flight and a new load. What causes this to happen? As I noticed that after a certain altitude, (lower atmosphere I suppose) I do not have any wind information (PMDG 737NGX), I suspected something wrong with the grib decoder. I found in C:\FSIDECODER.log.... I am not sure if it is the good log as it is not mentioned in the doc. OpusFSI GRIB Data Decoder, Version 4.01 Log generated 26 september 2014, 15:26 Hrs 1 Errors Detected Invalid Operation FYI: The dot is configured as decimal separator in window. Any idea ? Hey! So I bought the Lear last week, and I absolutely love it! I've been doing a few flights, and I always start with the cold and dark scenario that I downloaded from LHC's website. But, on 3 different occasions I can't get the engines to start a second time after I shut them down, so I have to reload the panel state and reload fuel / payload again. Is there a reason as to why this is happening?

Flying FSX with Saitek Yoke. When I load a FSX GA aircraft (C172, Mooney) and take off all controls operate normally. When I load the same aircraft and engage the Autopilot before take without selecting a function such as altitude or heading, I loose aileron control. Using an external view of the aircraft shows that the ailerons are operating correctly, but they do not control the aircraft attitude. Selecting and then deselecting the Autopilot Heading returns the ailerons to normal operation. Also after take off if I engage the Autopilot for only that altitude function I loose aileron control until selecting and then deselecting the heading function. …

I am trying to find photos/videos but can't. 1. Does the PMDG 737ngx have pop up gauges for the main instruments displays that I can drag to a second monitor? 2. Does the Citation X also have this? 3. Do the CDU's pop up as a 2D window on these aircraft as well? 4. Are the Saitek multi and radio panels compatible with both of these aircraft? Thanks. Hmm, I'm getting really frustrated with myself, as I'm sure it's down to my own 'finger trouble.' I loooove the Q400, everything about it sits really well with me, and the wonderful sound set when the engines roll to life is awesome! Anyway, I find the aircraft really difficult to hand fly and I'm unsure whether it is down to the weight/fuel/load distribution or if in fact it is characteristic of the aircraft. I always feel like the aircraft is on a water bed! She floats upwards and downwards like a bowl of jelly.Trying to trim her into level flight and adjust the throttle always seems to be a hard task for me. Hi everyone, so 90% of the time I use payware aircraft that have some type of FMC, but in some aircraft, like Carenado's phenom, the navigation system is a G1000, so in PFPX I will create a flightplan and export it to the MSFX folder. Inside FSX I will load this plan up in the flight planner page, but once its loaded, half of my fixes aren't even loaded. Why is this and is there anyway for it to load exactly what I have planned in PFPX. Incase I am not being clear, lets say I have planned a departure with the final fix of the departure being CPT VOR, and then the plan follows with various fixes and VORs. When I load this into the FSX planner, it will leave out a bun…

Hi All, The wonderful Twin Otter Extended by Aerosoft includes a splendid (and rather overlooked) utility called 'Aerosoft Flight Recorder' which allows the user to play back flights in Google Earth amongst other things. (I believe it also comes with their Airbus X but I don't have that one.) Just wondered if any knowledgeable folk here had experimented with using it with other aircraft in their hanger? I'd like to be able to utilize it to record flight data from other FSX add-ons. There's a gauge in the DHC-6 which is used to turn on the recorder, so presumably it would be possible to create a little standalone 2D pop-up gauge to do the same thing? The record…

Hello,The IRIS Simulations Pilatus PC9, T6A Texan II, F-20 Tigershark, P-40 Warhawk and P-40 Warhawk "The experiments" are now freeware. These aircraft are fantastic, and if you don't already own them, I definitely recommend them.

I enjoy flying the Feelthere ERJ_V2 however the rapid flashing of strobes and beacons is unrealistic. Has anyone come up with a fix? I checked the Feelthere website and it appears that the flashing is part of the model and can't be changed. I thought that perhaps some resourceful simmer may have fixed the problem or at least made some improvement. Any suggestions? Thanks! Airbus

Would anyone be able to help me please regarding how to turn and stop in a float plane ! Rudder has hardly any effect and braking does nothing. Another question.... is there a way of stopping my Aerosoft Twotter from speeding of down the runway without me having touched the throttle. I have a couple of payware planes that seem to set to start rolling immediately rather than remaining stationary until throttled up.Appreciate any help.Regards
