As I continue to purchase more add-ons my main FSX SSD is filling up. I have my Windows OS and FSX on a 240gb SSD and I have a nearly empty 1TB HDD. Out of my add-ons what can I install on to the backup drive and is there a specific way to do it? FSX Rex4 ActiveSky Next Vpilot FTX Central (global) PMDG 737NGX Wilco CRJ Nextgen FS2Crew I know FTX and scenery stuff needs to be on the main drive, what about the rest?

I recently installed the DX10 fixer- and I'm not sure if this is related. I've enjoyed quite excellent performance in FSX in all areas until of late, frames in the mid to high 20s. Lately, I've started flights where the frames are great, then quickly decay to 1-2 FPS, and stay there. I've tried deactivating scenery areas, trying with default aircraft, etc. All have the same result. The funny thing is, it happens mostly over France! Any ideas of what to look for?

Hi, On the A2A C172, I use the GNS 400 for my GPS. When I try to select an approach for my arrival airport 39N, only two options show up - RNAV 10 and VOR-A. I'd like to select RNAV 28 but the option isn't there at all. Is there any reason for this, or do I have to reinstall? Thank you And now that I have reinstalled it, I have lost a cockpit view...? The GPS is still the same.

Hi all, I purchased FSX a few weeks ago and and after many hours of watching videos on Youtube and searching forums and the web I dive right into the stock 737-800. I print out a stock checklist and proceed to do a short flight from KABE to KPHL. I go through the checklist turning on the Autopilot, Autothrottle and F/D....set my Heading and Altimeter and taxi to the runway. So I am cleared and I spool the engines to 60% hit the TO/GA and release the brake. I should rotate at about 150 but the plane starts to take off before that.....120ish and is just kinda pointing the nose in the air she is going down the runway. I never get off the ground. Hi All, Trying to load the EZ Dok camera into sim, I continually get a window saying the .exe has stopped working....I'm running Vista 64,(as Admin) and I'm wondering if this camera add-on is compatible with vista, or what my solution might be....Or where I can find the creators website that will translate into english, or even contact info. Bonjour, I use a wireless xbox 360 controller which have the particularity to disconnect itself if not used during 30 minutes (I think). My problem is that the control assignment in OpusFSi, which is supposed to be automatic when the input devices order change, is totally confused. Even after reloading FSX, Reboot.... I sometimes have to change all the joysticks button in the camera management. So it is a bit difficult to manage and I was wondering if it is possible to have a dialog, in OpusFSI Server, where the user can assign the joystick number to the device. I'm having issues with the scenery in FSX, mostly around the Pacific Northwest area. I've also seen these problems in non-covered areas. Hi This problem is driving me nuts so I hope someone can either shed a bit of light or some ideas. I've posted on the ezdok forum but have had no response so hope someone here has an idea Esentially I have 2 problems although one is liveable with so i'll start with the worst problem. I'm currently running with ver 1.17 and have deleted all the num keys in fsx as per setup and I can set my cameras ok using the ezdok control panel the problem comes when I want to go up and down from within FSX. I can use the arrow keys to go forward and backward and side to side,but if I try to go up and down with the page up and page down keys I am switched to external views or tower view…

Well, I feel kind of dumb, but I had no luck trying to install the demo version, as I got stuck on the first step. --Read the FAQ and getting started guide --OpusFSX folder on C drive --FSX on the K drive in the "FSX Program" folder --Windows 7 --Set sharing and security to "Everyone" Usual error on attempting to start FSXSERVER.EXE. One possible anomaly: when I run FSXCLIENT, I can set the Installation folder with no problem. The Mode of Operation is set to NETWORKED CLIENT even though I'm running this on the same machine as FSX. Not clear to me how to change this.... Thanks for any insights in advance. John

I recently acquired the AeroSim b747 which I like very much. One thing i have noticed is once I touch down the airbrakes are deployed but it doesn't stay deployed during the remainder of the landing. Immediately after touch down they retract, how can I keep it up during the remainder of the landing like the way it should be. The aircraft has no problems stopping it's just that the air brakes doesn't stay up Has anyone else with the AeroSim product experienced the same issue? Apologies if this is the wrong section I have a strange problem with ezdok buttons I've left a post on their forum regarding this, but had no response for several days,so thought I would try here and see if anyone else has had this or can think of a fix. I've followed the manual and youtube video's on setting up my various cameras and all has gone fine, while in edit mode, however the problem comes when I'm not in edit mode. If I want to move up or down using the page up page down keys on the keyboard It changes my view to the various fsx views. eg tower view ,external view etc I have been in to my fsx settings and there is nothing associated with these 2 keys anyw…

Little random here but today I just noticed that these visors on the realair duke actually provide contrast allowing me to better see the runway and or terrain Have you guys ever noticed this? It's a really nice feature!

Today a flight ended because a 747 decided that despite the fact that there was another aircraft (me) in the way of the runway that it was ok to go for the runway. This seems to happen most often at intersections. If there is a line and you're in the way you don't count. It's like FSX doesn't register your aircraft. However if there was an ai aircraft in the way it'd wait. So the solution would seem to be would be some way of fooling the AI into thinking you were an ai aircraft....

I got FSX set up again about a month ago. Earlier, I had this(http://lkpr.aspone.cz/IndexE.html) very nice freeware scenery for LKPR. Now, I'm trying to redownload it, but the main download link takes me to VACC-CZ where I need a login to access files. The two smaller updates work as direct downloads still. There is no developer name or anything like that on the web page- does anyone know where I could download this, or who I should contact? thanks

I have a problem where I get terrain spikes/walls around the edges of many airports when coming into land. If I load up FS and go directly to the airport, everything is fine; the problem only occurs when I fly in from somewhere else to land. From a distance, it looks normal, but as I get closer and closer the little hills down the runway length begin to pop up, and as I get even closer they morph into straight walls. As you can see in these images, the runways have hills going down the sides. It's only the runways, not the rest of the scenery. As I get even closer, the hills morph into straight walls. I have a perplexing problem and I am wondering if anyone has every had this issue and knows how to resolve it. I have autogen objects (trees and buildings) in all of my water. I have several ORBX regions and UTX which I have uninstalled and reinstalled and the problem still persists. I don't know if I have corrupted my scenery library somehow. I have tried lowering the priority as well and it has not work nothing short of turning autogen off helps. I use AES which needs autogen set to sparse to display properly. If anyone can help that would be appreciated.

Does the Aerosim L-1011 simulate the DLC (direct lift control) system during final approach? On the real L-1011, during approach(I think when the flaps were > 30) the spoilers extended automatically a certain amount, pushing forward on the yoke extended them more,pulling on the yoke retracted them .
