I have edited/put Shockwave lights into the Lights section of the FSX stock Boeing 737-800 aircraft.cfg as below, but cannot get the taxi lights the light up the ground. Does anyone know if it is possible to add more panel windows? I like to open different gauges as a panel, but I have used my 9 and I have a couple of more gauges that I would like to open. Maybe through FSUIPC, and if so, how? Any replies greatly appreciated. John

FIXED --- see bottom of post. I purchased the THAI CREATION - KUZU ZANGPO BHUTAN - PARO INTL VQPR FSX airport but I have a large hole where the airport is supposed to be. On the website it says that could happen and they provided a link to a fix. Here is the text and link to FS2004 mesh file in AVSIM database. Important!!!! please read carefully and do as instructed. Hi all, a few days ago I setup an LFPG-KSFO long haul filght. PMDG 777-200, ASN for weather, REX Overdrive for textures. Flight plan has been loaded to the plane and to ASN, weather theme set in FSX as Active Sky Next generated dynamic theme. At a certain point during the flight, I realized I'd be flying over water before reaching the Canada coast but I noticed the depicted scenery at that same time was winter land instead, eg country fields with snow and some straight roads. Hi all - I'm already aware that people have had issues with FPS drop when the mouse is on screen, but my issue is in reverse :huh: As soon as the mouse auto-hides itself, my FPS drops to around 10-12. I wiggle the mouse and it pops back up to 28-32. It didn't always used to do it, it just started doing it one day. Drives me nuts! Hi All, Have been enjoying FSX for a good month now. I have been playing around with the CRJ-700 and have noticed when I looked at the Pilot Log FSX has stopped recording my flights. Is this a known issue, something new or am I missing something. I make sure I go from departure gate to arrival gate but seems nothing I do makes any of my flights into the Pilot Log. Taking off on Rwy 02 at EGHI I get to 200ft and the sim will freeze for a couple of seconds. This is even with default 172 and Orbx EGHI disabled. I have tried: - deleting and rebuilding shaders - deleting and rebuilding sceneryindexes - disabling Orbx Vector - removing all cfg tweaks except highmemfix=1 - no external weather - running at solid 30fps immediately before and after freeze. I am out of ideas so any suggestions gratefully received. I would rather not do a complete reinstall as I have only just rebuilt after getting a fast rig and it takes ages! Cheers Tony

Hi I have just started to get some graphics problems with my fsx its not CTD but it might as well be. I have been running fsx on this machine for over a year with a ton of add-ons with no problems. last weekend I set off on a flight and as usual I am going in and out of full screen to see if I need to speak to ATC etc. & bang !!. black sky with smuged grownd textures but nothing els no plane no buildings just nothing, this is new I thought & since then its going down hill so I could really do with some help. Hi, This is Karthick from India. Recently i downloaded the aircraft skyspirit Boeing 777-9x from simviation (Link: http://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1&keywords=boeing+777-9&x=10&y=19). Everything was fine except the logo lights. The logo lights at night were so bright, so that the logo of the airline is not visible. I've recently started flying the Q400 more regularly and I'm really getting the hang of things now. I found it hard to land in the beginning, but after realising I need to keep power on all the way down I have improved my landings a lot. One thing still bugs me though: power settings in cruise. The 850 RPM setting is the suggested one for cruise as far as I understand things, but this actually yelds a higher fuel flow than 900 RPM. Also, as I understand it, the power levers should be all the way forward from the start of the takeoff roll until TOD. Also, at this power setting, I get a cruise speed of 220 KIAS, or 336 KTAS, at FL260 which is a bit short of the promised…

Hello. I'm trying to get to the point where I know my FSX setup/install is as good as it will get so I can forget about tweaking and get on with flying. My system is 4790k @4.6, Nvidia GTX 970, 2400mhz C11 RAM (2x8gb), 256 mx 100 SSD. This is a fresh Acceleration install. First of all, I'm more than happy with my frames and general smoothness but I feel the need to try and find out whether my turn stutters are normal as these are the only think I can't get rid of. I have spent many hours installing the 3 major regions of FSGlobal Ultimate and I'm worried about the following: if I had to reinstall FSX... would I have to spend the same hours to re-installing again FSGlobal Ultimate? When I use the wilco A380 in FSX , when setting the destination airport ARRIVAL in the MCDU F-PLAN page , always leads to FSX crash, and each error modules are a380.dll ( This file is located in the FSX main directory \ SimObjects \ Airplanes \ Wilco A380 \ panel directory ) . What is the reason , how to solve , thank you.

I have returned to FS after 10 years' absence: I'm using FSX on a more than adequate PC dedicated solely to FS. A problem that I had with FS2004 (I think!) is now recurring in FSX and it must be something I am getting wrong: B737, Airbus and CJR700 insist on flying 10 degree nose-up. On AP altitude and speed are OK but flying by hand is a bit tricky with the nose-up attitude. No amount of trimming and engine speed adjustment seem to sort it out. Prop aircraft are fine - the King Air is really great to fly - it's just with the jets that I have the problem. Any hints on how to tackle this will be welcome. Hi everyone, So i've had this problem on and off for some time now, and i have bufferpools=0 a and water to high which is supposed to fix this issue but i still get it. I get it in areas that are heavy on frames, like flightbeam sfo, or lax, when i pan i just get these quick black tearing marks on my screen, and once i stop panning, it disappears. I have a gtx 580, i7 2600k @ 4.1ghz. If anybody can help me with this annoying issue that would be great. Thank you

Recently, I have moved house and am now using a different computer than I was previously using for FSX. I remember having a hard time getting FSX to install correctly on my previous system but I am now encountering a new problem. Following many guides I have reinstalled FSX a total of 8 times in the past 48 hrs in an attempt to get Service Pack 2 to install.. Each time I reinstall FSX, I make sure it is completely wiped off my computer (all folders, files, and reg. entries) Each time: I install FSX RTM. I have the Deluxe version. just bought plane once installed i cant run the configurator to setup nav data base, nor fuel planer, it says navdata.ini file is not in user documentes aerosofr airbus folder, i copy that file and nothing any hint.....?

FSX won't allow me to use any other program when it is in windowed mode anymore. It just minimizes. What causes this and how to fix it? I need to set up Opus camera views for example. This game is so frustrating sometimes!
