Hi Folks. I am running FSX on three monitors. I have a 4th monitor overhead that I like to use to put my undocked Overhead and Radio Panels. However, recently, when I undock these panels and slide them onto the 4th monitor above, whilst the Blue Frame of the undocked window goes onto the monitor, the image of the Panel turns black and there is nothing of the panel visible. This seems to happen on my iFly and my QW jets. Does anybody have any ideas please? John P.S. I am running Win7 and my Graphics Card is an Nvidea GeForce GTX 780 Ti

I installed the FSIServer upgrade yesterday. The install went fine and I was running FSI with no problems. Today, when I clicked on "Update Weather", it was taking 2-3 minutes or more to download, and twice it never downloaded. I still have FSXServer on my system and have been using that, since updates take about 10 seconds. I don't think it is a firewall or AV problem, since license validation works and it does connect to the server most of the time. Any ideas on what to check? Wilson

I live in Airbus city, Toulouse in France, which was the start of a great adventure between the two world wars, the transport of air mail between France and Africa, then later South America to Santiago and Punta Arenas. This company went broke in 1931 and its assets were melt with others to create Air France. I am re - flying in FSX on the tracks of Mermoz, Guillaumet and Saint Exupéry, in a modern environment but with airplanes designed in the 1930s, and totally VFR with no navaids. Has anyone figured out the correct procedure to catch the glide slope with the A/P in the Lear 24B? Scenario: Level at an altitude BELOW the G/S. Speed 160kts. A 30 degree intercept to the localizer. A/P on, altitude hold on, and approach mode on with G/S armed. I capture the localizer, but fly right through the G/S. I then fly back around for another go at it. Everything is the same on the autopilot EXCEPT when the copilot (MCE) announces glide slope and localizer active I turn off altitude hold on the A/P and it captures the glide slope perfectly. Well, this is odd. I've recently acquired some new add-on scenery (UK2000 Heathrow), and decided to install it today. However, something does strike me as being very odd. When I load the default airport, there's not a care in the world, everything is right the way it's supposed to be, and looks as good as a default airport can look. However, when I load the add-on, half the airport is covered in trees. The side on 27R looks great, but the side of 27L is a mess. Trees all over the place, no "texture" on the runways/taxiways, but a semi-transparent look to them. I reformatted by hard drive and reinstalled FSX ( My O/S is Windows 7 Prof ) After that I installed FSX Deluxe Edition,then Service Pack 1 When trying to install Service Pack 2 I get the following message : Service Pack 2 setup ended before completing installation.Your system has not been modified.To install later,please run set up again. I just installed VAS Monitor on my W7 PC. The setup also installed Net Framework 4.0. I am still learning how to use it. On a flight from KBWI to KTEB in my F! B200, I started hearing an unfamiliar beeping sound during my approach. When I checked the VAS monitor all the text was red and I had about 300 MB left! Looks like it works! Fortunately no CTD. Anyone find it useful? Airbus

Just out of curiosity I would like to ask about this developer. I remember, long time ago I had their 737 for FS9, and it was great plane to fly, I enjoyed her so much. I am wondering why this developer is banned, or even expelled from FS world? There are no any news, no even customers who claims,praise or doing some sort of comparisons, simply utter silence. Why AD is such niche developer ? They do great 737, a bit pricey with troublesome activation, but finally their 737 is really nice. So why ?

I posted here on 21st September requesting help to deal with a problem related to both PFPX and EZCA that are shown in the task Manager but not under Applications. This means that programs are launched but they are not visible on the screen - EZCA is perfectly set on EXE.XML but does not show under Addons in FSX menu bar. By that time I tried a number of issues (including reinstallation of the faulty programs - that did not fixed the problem) until finally the problem vanished but I never figured out how... Now I face the same problem and I wonder whether someone did have a similar problem and can give some hints how to solve it. Thanks

Hello,I am noticing an increase in bouncing ui aircraft and ground vehicles. The most recent add on has been GEX Europe.I know that some of the FS9 Aircraft (POSKY) need work on their contact points so they would push back with AES without bouncing (737 and CRJ700). If anybody has some good contact points for those aircraft that would be appreciated.On a more disturbing not, I have noticed ground vehicles bouncing when switching views. Has anybody experienced this and do you know how to fix it?Everything just keeps bouncing around my sim and it is starting to annoy me. Airport or aircraft doesn't matter. i noticed that I now have some extra files in my FSX folder. Texture1 and texture3' they contain references to the Farchild panel and panel sounds. Also Avelina sounds. Folders named mountains, desert etc. most bizarre. I do not know where they came from. I assume from the Farchild I installed. This can't be right?

Hi all I bought Flytampa's Boston and it seems to be really laggy on machine for some reason. I have a I5 4670K,GTX 760 OC,8GB RAM,2TB HDD,Water cooling Anyone have a suggestion on how to make it smoother at Boston ? Thanks

I have recently installed PMDG 737ngx 800/900 and FS X. My pc is not the fastest, but at the moment it is just about ok with FSX. My problem is that when I try and pan across the (virtual) cockpit view, or up and down, using the top hat switch on the yoke, the view changes in fairly large jumps. With the 737ng 600/700 running with fs9, the pan is smooth. I have tried reducing the scenery demands to achieve a better frame rate, but that seems to have no effect. Could someone please help? I just purchased this product Saturday. Installed Trainer Installed latest Microsoft Visual C+++ Installed FSX Safe Startup Flight making it the default Run FSX as administrator. Configured the Cessna C172SP with the GTN 750 Stack and Gauge NOTE: There is no RED Icon next to the aircraft to indicate the gauge is installed. Start FSX with Startup Flight. Then load Cessna. GTN Stack displays in top center not in upper left as I configured. When I click on dropdown from the Stack an icon of the gauge appears but no full size gauge. What am I missing? I've been using FSX on my 1 year old custom PC without any problems until last night. I did not install any scenery / aircraft, nor did I put in an ENB. FSX went from a constant 27 - 32 FPS in Virtual Cockpit mode to 6 - 11 FPS all of a sudden. Adding on to that, for a few seconds, it jumps to 30FPS, then back down to 6. I updated my NVIDIA drivers, rebooted my PC, uninstalled the FSDreamteam sceneries, and am just left with addon aircraft and Shade. Trouble is - a week ago, I ran FSDreamteam CYVR and I did a flight with the Aerosoft A319 with full 36FPS in the virtual cockpit. I can't seem to understand why my FPS would drop so significantly.
