Hi! I had to format my entire computer again because I had messed up to much. So now I can start from scratch. Please correct my order here if anything is not correct. 1. Install FSX + SP1 + SP2 2. FTX Global 1.10 3. FTX Global 1.20 patch 4. FTX OpenLC 5. FTX Vector 1.10 6. FTX Vector 1.15 patch 7. FS Global Ultimate (mesh) - This is not the FTX compatible one btw, maybe thats whats causing my problems from the beginning. 8. Payware airports -Arlanda -Bergen -Oslo -Vaernes The problem I had before was that all the sceneries didn't seem to blend in, particularly the mesh (FS global). Just got a few random questions about FSX and PMDG. I don't own PMDG yet, but I was doing some research on it and am interested in possibly getting it. I came across a few questions during my research, though... - Where can I get the file for the FMC that would be in sync with the stock FSX scenery/files/navdata? Is it still available online? - The planes come with three different engine types... the Rolls Royce, General Electric and the Pratt-Whitney. Are there any differences in those three accept for the models/sounds? I've seen mixed answers on this... Is it just me? When you select an airport to fly out of, how do you select which gate to depart from? I try to select real gate assignments however, most add-on airports don't list true gate numbers and sizes. FSDT is the worst when it comes to gate descriptions in the .bgl

AFM was NOT designed to work with FS/FTX Global Vector installed! We are considering to offer a V2.0 soon". Does anybody have some information what is the progress of this? How can they sell their products which are not compatible with each other? And ORBX supports them. This all sucks.

Hi guys, I'm seriously considering buying the Q400 from Majestic, it looks fantastic! However, I plan on using mostly to fly in remote areas that have no ILS - but only have GPS (RNAV) approaches. It seems like there are many problems with the plane turning too early on final, skipping the IF of the approach, especially with RNAV approaches featuring 90 degree turns. I have searched and searched and found no video of a complete RNAV approach. The descent (VNAV) part isn't confusing to me, it's mostly the LNAV part that confuses me. A friend of mine has the Q400, and I kindly asked him to try and fly an approach for me, (on the latest patch), and he was unable …

I'm constantly getting these 'No link' error messages when I attempt to enter a STAR in, most of the waypoints come out as working, but then only one waypoint will appear as 'No link' and it'll spoil the whole STAR approach, anyone know how to fix it?

I have Windows 8.1 and as a result, I have had my fair share of crashes. So, once again I got the pop up that reads; " Microsoft has stopped working. A problem has caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. " Then at the bottom two options; Debug or Close Program Well this occurred while on final and I didn't want to end it by clicking on " Close Program " so I got my Courser , placed it on the pop up , then dragged it out of site. Hey guys. I've been using My Traffic 2013 but the models are ugly (esp the airlines). However, they have good GA traffic coverage - better than UT2. Seeing that I'm flying primarily GA now, I would like to know the best AI GA traffic package or alternate complete traffic package. Thanks.

After waiting for nearly a year and then managing to finally download it (the correct version I might add) and after many failed attempts when it first came out, I finally got it and installed it only to find that the icons in the Textures tab are missing. After looking at the REX forums it pointed out that it was probably installed into the wrong directory. It wasn't but I followed the instructions only to find that nothing had changed. I seem to have problems when it comes to views I've initially set up. I customized the views of my plane with 4 different angles, all with DHM checked, and only 1 (default captain view) with TrackIR enabled on it. Whenever I pause TrackIR, then press a button to change views (cycling views), then unpause TrackIR afterwards, I'm always unable to have the views come back to where they should be placed. It is either too zoomed forwards, tilted up or down, etc, and i'm unable to recover the original angles i've set up unless I start a new flight again. Hi guys! I recently had to format my PC, which led me to a fresh install of FSX. However, I'm having a bit of trouble. As you can se from the picture, something isn't correct. It seems like some sceneries conflict with each other, creating these sharp edges a lot of places. In addition, the ocean seems to be elevated and flooding parts of Norway. I de-selected all the norway add ons, but the ocean still floods some parts. Scenery order: 1. All Addon aiports 2. Norway addons 3. OpenLC 4. Has anyone else noticed in FSX that your user aircraft, be it the QW 757 or PMDG series will be taxiing to the runway or stuck in traffic ahead but the plane behind you stops and stands a huge distance from your plane?! Why is that!? What is causing this??? An example below...The PMDG 747-400X standing still on the taxiway, and then also standing still a prop aircraft....

FSX Acceleration with FTX Global base. I also have Javier's AICarriers2 installed ... but I would not think that would cause this problem?? The default FSX aircraft carrier departed KSFO on time but ran aground instead of sailing properly. Any ideas what causes this?

Could anyone tell me if it's OK the over-write V1.07 with a full install of V1.010, then patch it to v1.011? I can get V1.010 from my Just Flight account, and wanted to avoid multiple patching to get to V1.011 I've posted on the official forum, but had no response yet, and have found a few seemingly contradictory upgrade postings re upgrading from V1.07. I realize I could go to individual forums with this question, but since it applies to multiple programs, I thought I would ask here in the hope of more exposure. (i.e. FC9, Reality GPS, etc.) For example, in flight planning for flights involving North Atlantic tracks, coordinates can be added such as 4640N, 4650N, etc. In trying to add the approximate coordinates for Misty Fjords, Alaska, the higher numbered coordinates 55.6217N 130.6072W were denied. I tried 56130N for an approximate location. Is there a procedure for such an entry, and if so does anyone know what I am doing wrong? Thanks: RTH

Trying to install this from scratch but after inputting Order No, etc, keep getting 'Cannot Connect To Server' error flag. Any ideas how I proceed installation?

Almost all of the trees have vanished from my scenery in FSX. It doesn't matter whether I run default or Orbx scenery, only a few stands of trees are visible even where there should be dense forest. And yes, I have moved the autogen slider all the way to the right. I can't think of any changes I have made to my installation in the last several weeks, but something has gone all lumberjack on me. This is a new one for me. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

The manual says to open up the menu you use The Shift + 3 Key. I tried that and it doesn't work. How do I get around that one ? Thanks

Okay guys i tuned in EDDF ILS freq with my 737 ngx and i'm using AIRAC 1408 the latest one i was hoping the ILS at EDDF matched but i was wrong i checked on fsx flight planner shortly before arrival into EDDF and the freq are different no problem i got runway 25L freq from FSX 110.70 but there was no DME theres no DME on any ILS freq at EDDF can someone confirm that there is no DME or its just ME thats missed something? i'm finding alot of ILS freq are different and i know FSX is 8 years old how can i over come this annoying problem?

Did they upgrade the VC or is it the same one from Airbus Extended X is textures ect? Also what features were added over Extended X? I don't fly airbus that much and am willing to buy the 318/19 if they upgraded the VC but if its just external model changes I don't really need it. Thanks David.

I am certain I have opened a can of worms...take your shots at me. Curious here. I own LevelD 767 and love flying it. What does $90US get me that I do not have in the 767? if it is just sharper visuals, brakes that turn red and other eye candy differences I will keep my wallet closed. I realize the 767 is old and that PMDG is by far the most revered add on developer in the world. I should say I do own the J41 and enjoy it greatly. I should add that I fly on Vatsim and have no interest in 12 hour unattended flights overnight to return in to my computer in the morning. Dave

Guys, Trying to get some opinions on this product. I downloaded the full version with the 30 day trial and I really like what I see so far. The price is pretty steep though so I wanted to check in with the community to verify a few things: 1. I know that this product won't import flightplans into the PMDG 737 NGX...correct?2. How is their support? Updates, fixes etc etc etc3. Are they pretty responsive to customers? The UI is fantastic and I love the fact that I can run the UI on my laptop and the data provider on my FSX box.
