Seems like flying an ILS approach in a default aircraft such as a learner is impossible due to the extra sensitive localizer reading. Unless you get a 15-20 degree intercept, even with a hard bank turn you're going through the localizer. Pay ware aircraft I've flown don't do this. I've even tried the approach button on autopilot and the plane is making s turns to get on the approach because its needle is so sensitive. Is there an adjustment for this in the. Cfg? Such as a learjet * Such as a learjet *

There's a great UTC conversion tool available for free on Android and iOS called Pilot Time. I wanted to mention it here because I don't know how I could get along without it anymore for flight planning. Most of my flights are historic. Anyone else using this nifty tool?

Hello dear simmers, one thing I wonder about several weeks now but haven't found a solution is, if it is possible to generate from a saved flight file (e.g. a PMDG 737 saved at Frankfurt) a kind of AI static aircraft, so in the end if I enter Frankfurt with another addon, I can see my parked 737 there. I think the idea is great (beside maybe performance, but thats another discussion). Think would be great to taxi along an airport and see then my parked addons there. Any ideas if this is possible? (in a practical way?)

When setting up a flight with AS2012, it asks if you want to load textures that are specific to that flight. I always ran it that way. Now with ASN it seems like it doesn't have its own texture library and in any case there's no option to load specific textures for that flight. So how do I change textures? I still have whatever AS2012 loaded the last time I ran it. Do I need to go back to AS2012 and have it load custom textures then switch to ASN to run the weather?

Hello I've read some older reviews on the aerosoft airbus x and some have said that there are a few problems with system logic and accuracy, but the reviews were old and I am wondering if aerosoft has fixed some of these problems. How does the current airbus compare to the pmdg ngx in terms of handling and systems accuracy?

I am new to FSX, but enthused with the overwhelming possibilities. I am nearing completion of a small (C172, Mooney, etc.) Sim and ready to start putting everything together. I have FSX running on an i7-4770K (no overclock), GTX-780, 32GB RAM, three 2 drive RAID0 SSDs, and 4 monitors (3-Matrox TH2G and one for panels). Everything is under water cooling. I plan to fly mainly GA planes at relatively low altitudes. Mainly VFR, with some IFR for a diversion and occasionally a C-130 for long haul flights. Hi, Thank you for FSX FA v1.2. In v1.1 I remarked about the bottom graph - CPU Efficiency and why it showed it so high when my PC was effortlessly holding a certain frame rate. I see with v1.2 the wording has been changed to CPU Efficiency but the colours of the graph suggest 100% efficiency is in the danger area with 0-30% being full green, Shouldn't the colours be reversed to reflect the label? 0-10 Orange; 10-20% light orange; 20-40% light green; 40-70% mid-green and 70-100 dark green. That would seem more logical.

For those of you who are interested Aerosoft have said that they intend to release the new Airbus X-Tended-extended (A318/319) next Monday at 14:00 Paris time. I just upgraded to Acelleration, everything works fine but now I have this dark ring sort of mid horizon in the sky. I have REX textures and tried to reinstall a new theme but no luck. I would show a screenshot but very strangely when I take a screenshot of it you can't see it when you look at the picture....I am guessing its a resolution thing. The sky transitions from light blue to dark blue but about halfway to the top of the screen there is this 1 inch very dark texture ring. Edges are sort of wobbly and it almost seems like a cloud type texture. Anyone know what this is and how to fix?

I have recently been doing more IFR work and I wanted to practice short haul cargo routes similar to Fedex feeders. Virtual Dispatch seemed to be more than adequate for what I was doing but I couldn't get it to connect w/ FSX. (I have a paid version of FSUIPC if that's necessary) I went into settings but I couldn't divine how to make it hook up. My AccuFeel and RealWX_Lite don't have a problem connecting. I went to the website looking for a forum or a help Wiki but it was no longer on line. Any suggestions?

Hi Guys having one issue with Aivlasoft flight plan software - yes I posted in Their forums and have no idea what I am talking about - anyway if I do a flight plan the ats routing window does not populate with all of the needed info hence when it saves out the flightplan its not correct - if you see screenshots the one that looks correct is from an avsim review and the second shot shows my problem - any help would be appreciated on this one AVSIM Review image ======================================= My mess lol

Hello folks When I try to use sweetFX it works fine in windowed mode, I undock 1st panel still work, 2nd and 3rd ones still work, but when I undock the 4th and fith ones the FSX works but freezes, when I close the 4th and 5th undocked panels fsx work again normal with no freezing. Is there anyone help me to fix that, because I use sweetFX with FlightFX tool to edit the FSX lighting and decrease the GAMMA through the FlightFX to increase the brightness of the FSX. the main reason to use sweetFX and FlightFX tool to increase the brightness of the sim because rrally its not bright well and the picture is a little bit dark. Any solutions Thx

Hi, so I've a problem with my scroll wheel: I can't change any knobs value (MCP, radio frequencies etc) with it. At first I thought it was some hardware problem so I tried with two different mouses but it didn't resolved my problem. I did some digging around and I found this post which applied perfectly to my situation but it still didn't solved my problem (I even reinstalled FSUIPC). Gentlemen, I have just purchased the FSX gold software. I have installed it a numerous times on C:\FSX. The installation went ok. After entering the Product key I attempted to start the sim. The first page with the music came on as it supposed to, but when I selected Free flight to try it, selected my aircraft, in this case B738,( or any other) airfield KSEA (or any other ). Pressed OK. The sim started to download all the sceneries etc, but very slowly. When finally it has reached 100% either the screen went black or just the table top was visible as if I had minimised the simulator. Hi guys, since I reinstalled my FSX after my HDD crashed, I can´t make screenshots. I´ve rechecked the buttons, "V" is assigned. It´s mystery to me as it worked perfectly before. Has anyone an idea?

Hey! I was making a normal uneventful flight from Moscow to Nizhny Novgorod and while on cruise I got a complete electrical failure (caused by fspassengers) just like that and everything went out. Not a single backup system worked and I tried to level out the plane resulting in the controls becoming locked after seconds and the plane send into a dive right (elevator somehow jammed?) to to the ground at extremely high speed. Cockpit lights weren't functioning and it was pitch dark night so flight was doomed from the second. Hi Guys, Just upgraded OpusFSX to the latest 3.50.2 from 3.44.? and TrackIR software is no longer detecting the title OpusFSX is running. Previous configuration options are still in place and Enable TrackIR is ticked. The bar at the top of the Opus software says Opus FSI Server - .... 3.50.2 not Opus FSX Server - .... 3.50.2. I don't know if this is an indication of the problem. Unfortunately I didn't save the previous installer, so I can't check what the previous one said. Has the name that the TrackIR software uses to determine the title changed accidently in this version. I also tried the OpusFSI demo as well and TrackIR doesn't recognise this either,…

Hello, recently I have noticed that my FSX is very blurry and I don't know why about 3 miles out. I just installed ftx global but it made my mesh very bad any ideas? Also the specs of mine: Intel® Core i3-3220T CPU @2.80GHz x 2.80Ghz RAM- 4 gigs OS- Win 8.1 Video Card- Intel Graphics 4000 Most of the time I can do away with good frames from 20-30 (30 in the air) (20-30 on the ground) I also have all default airports except KLAX which was just an AFCAD file. Fairly new to FSX. going through checklists & there is no indication in reference as to how to action things. The checklist tells me to check that the avionics switch is on...bt can I find it ??? Make sure the Beacon light switch is on...but can I find it??? Help please

Does anyone know a graphical map of the available FSX/P3D scenery, preferably including freeware + payware? There used to be such a map under http://www.virtual-dispatch.net/scenery/ which seems to be gone forever, now. Hello, After many frustrating months of trying to eradicate a error in fsx, i am asking if possibly there is a answer or correction which can be applied. Problem is this, Whilst in flight ,and on approach, ANY FSX aircraft IN USE, takes on about 0.8 degrees of nose to the right and will not straighten up to a 360 line ( aircraft viewed from tail to nose ) When well under the 500ft and not far off touchdown, I find I have to apply full left rudder in a effort to keep the a/c on the strip but the aircraft has a tendency to put down along side to either the right or left of any strip…
