I've browsed around the Paint Kits of the POSKY 747, which is FSDS, and the POSKY A330, which is GMAX. In the A330, you just have to paint the day textures and FS will generate the night textures for you using the day file (T.bmp) and the lighting file (L.bmp), but in the 747, you have to paint both day and night textures. It has been proven because I looked in the files of the default GMAX aircraft, the same thing as the A330. Is there a way to have smoke with AI traffic? Not contrails but engine smoke. Anyone looked into this? Might be nice addition....

Hi,This is my first message here! I use fs Home version and want to added ILS frequence to my city's airport: Florence (Italy). Is it possible to read *.bgl files? (I use Win98se) I already found a zip file which contains this add-on and Iused the suggested mode to install it: open with win-zip and insert *bgl file in my scenery main folder, but ils is not active:why? Hi everyone,I finaly typed out this wishlist with two fingers and sent it to MS.I'm sure I've missed loads off but it takes me too long to type.Thanks for all the effort that went into FS2K2 I am getting a lot of enjoyment out of it,here are my wishes for FS2K4; 1. After watching 2 AI POSKY B767s crash 3 miles out on final and an L-1011 overfly the runway and smash into the mountain side, all in the last 1/2 hour, I was pondering the dilemna: How to correct this weird behavior? Nobody seems to know really.So I wondered about this air file swap thing with default aircraft that do behave OK. Does it work? Hi All, I was on my way back from KORD to arrive at KLAX. upon the journey I had a few visits from a few " Friends In the Sky ". I took a few shots and thought I would post them. If, anything nice shots of the American Airlines 767-300 POSKY. She really does shine in the sun!. The Flight Deck is PIC and I use Lees merge...by far the best combo for the 767 PIC. Many people have spent their money on a new Athlon XP and GeForce3/4 Ti Series spending hundereds of dollars. and...as soon as a few months later, out comes a new AMD and NVIDIA chip with, what seems to be a significant advance in technology. Just recently converted to Windows 2000, and I have Nvidia 28.32 drivers loaded. When using SimFactory's LAX scenery, I get a lot of graphics (flashing) distortion around the runway area and nowhere else. Flying in other standard FS2K2 airports (e.g St. Louis Lambert International), I do have the flashing or graphic rips.Anyone have a possible idea as to what is going on? Okay, this has happened twice now. Number two for landing at DAL and again later at IAH. Vspeeds correct, everything dialed in and I'm on the bullseye for a sweet touchdown. I'm in compliance with ATC, cleared to land number two behind XXXX. Then I hear it. Soar XXXX clear to land number three behind B737. I get overtaken and have a mid air with the default MD83. Since when was an MD's Vref speed 200 knots?Alright enough griping. Is there a fix for this? Would it make any difference if I changed the MD cruise speeds in the AI file? Is there a way to edit the approach speeds of the default AI aircraft? Or do I need to install rear turrets in my 73's?

Changing the elevator angle of incidence from + to - made my FS2K 172 magically start flying properly. I looked at Ron's SP air file and his wing was set to +1.4 and his tail to +2.0. If flew about the same, go figure.I decided to try and duck the issue as he suggested and set the tail to 0.0. Then I fiddled with the wing angle until the deck angle of the plane looked like the real one in full power cruise. That turned out to be 3.0 degrees. A measurement of a plan of the 172 from the POH shows that the difference between the tail and …

Haven't heard much lately about this product but heard there is a new version coming in the future.What exactly does it do? Is it similar to Vatsim? I thought if you held down F2, reverse thrust would work but it don't even with the airbrake deployed?? Any advice?Eric

I was wondering how you fellas are getting the reversers to function properly.. I can get mine to deploy somewhat then they retract almost immediately.. Is there some magic command I am missing that will allow them to function like they should?Thanks, Sawacs
