HiI just have a question about the default 737's performance.What is the Vr and V1 speed of the default 737 with 90% fuel on board?Here is what happened to me today.I put 90% fuel on board. I taxied to runway 4 ar KLGA. I positioned the plane at the end of the runway and applied brakes. I extended flaps 2 notches and trimmed up 8 notches. Then I applied full power, waited for the engined to spool up and released the brakes. The plane accelerated rapidly and at 140 I pulled back on the yoke but the nose did not come up. I relesed the yoke and let the plane accelerate. At 180KTS I pulled up but nose did not come up. The runway ended and just before hitting the water…

With hours of flying over not so interesting scenery would it be fun to make a gauge or module where you can browse the net and listen to mp3's.Like with winamp little browser it can be implemented and mp3 wouldnt be such a problem i think.I am not a programmer but maybe others outthere will like the idea :-)Other ideas could be:- automute when ATC needs your attention.- airfield information through the web- weather reports through the net- send a email to your buddies with a attached screen you just took- icq/msn like communication or even IRC.- displaying scenery pictures attached to your coordinate (google images?)What do you guys think of that idea? if yes any other t…

Howdy all!I know that this is more of an off topic related question but there's just too much tallent here to NOT post this here :-)A while back I downloaded the DX8 developer pack and installed it and now 90% of my DX8 files are flagged with the little yellow "yield" sign saying that they are the debug version and will run slower than the retail files. Any of you tech guys here know how to re-install JUST DirectX? I'm in no mood to have to reinstall WindowsXP and all my programs etc...Thanks for the help!!!!Mike

I have the 2832 drivers installed for a GF4 ti4400, but when viewing the file versions in properties/ti4400 tab the "Display management hook library" nvdssk32.dll is version 2183. Is this what others have or is an old driver set still there? I have been having some crashing to desktop problems and wondering if this might be the answer.Thanks,Ken

I have the full airlines.cfg file of course. Many of the items on the list are obvious, but does anyone have a list linking the more obscure names on that list to the real world airline name? For instance, showing that Shamrock is Aer Lingus (I guessed that - maybe wrongly :) ).Thanks for any help

I've been having many problems configuring this joystick for use with FS2002.I have adjusted the sensitivities in FS, which still seem to be too sensitive. I'm currently using FSUIPC 2.85, and i've tried to set up the axis on the joystick to try to remove the following problems:Throttle = Now using full movement on throttle stick, but not smoothAileron = The digital values are not settling down, causing movements to happen, even if i'm not turning.Rudder = The digital values are also not settling down, applying CONSTANT right rudder.With this CONSTANT right rudder, i'm having to apply left rudder to compensate. Why are most of the aprons in FS2002 not there? I flew into Las Vegas this morning, and I taxied to the gate on dirt, as their is no apron pavement at this airport as well. FS2002 is a great Sim, but when the aprons flash and disappear in front of you, its disappointing. Is their a fix for this, or is my video card the problem? Cheers

I'm looking for a good 747 panel. Preferably one with CRT's. I've tried the Top Avionics panels, but I'm not thrilled with the FMS. I've dl'd a couple off of AVSIM, but I haven't been thrilled with them. They all just seem like rehashes of the stock panel. Does anyone know of any panels that would be comparable with what's offered for the BAe146 or the ERJ-145?I'd like to fly the real big heavy iron, but it's just not working for me.Thanks,Joe

Hi,Something strange started to happen with "WipeGauges 2002".Each time I try to scan for unused gauges, I get the following message:"Run-time error '5': Invalid procedure call or argument"The program worked flawlessly until yesterday, I have no idea of what might have disrupted the software...Any ideas and advice would be greatly appreciated.CheersTwister

Hello,On my computer (P4 1.8GHz, 256 DDR RAM, Geforce2 MX200 Video Card), Flight Sim 2002 runs with a very inconsistence Frame rate. I can get up to 30FPS (I locked it at 30) while it constantly goes down to about 2-3FPS. It happens very often :(, even when all display is set to minimal. What might the cause of this be, not enough RAM?? or a bad Video Card, if so, can anyone suggest a good Video Card at a reasonable price?Thanks in advance,SOHK

I just ordered a New Computer from Dell. :-yellow1 I am replacing another Dell with only a 450Mhz, 384 Ram and was wondering if anyone can tell me if I will be able to turn the sliders all the way up on the new one.The new one isn't a top of the line model, since I didn't want to spend to much but it has a Pentium 4 1.7Ghz and 384 Ram. Guys,A user pointed out to me that my La Guardia scenery uploaded a few days back was without night lighting textures.I apologise.Unfortunately when I packaged the scenery it did not auto-package the night textures. :-mad ;(8 My fault as I should have checked.
