I have a LeadTek GeForce 2 GTS / 64M card, a little old in the tooth now :)I'm looking at buying a motherboard that supports only AGP 4* (1.5V). I see on the website for my old (existing) card that it's 2*/4* AGP, AGP2 3.3V, so I'm guessing this is a compatibility issue. Are later GeForce 2 cards to the 1.5V spec? Was this a break in AGP technology? Thanks for any answers.Bruce.

One of the files in the library is described as representing both of these aircraft. Are they the same, following some company mergers or splits? They seem to have different IATA type codes, according to the list I found at http://www.house747.freeserve.co.uk/acrtypes.htm.And while I am asking dumb questions about aircraft, does the Jetstream J41 also have an alias? Thanks for putting me straight - my air spotting skills don't go beyond counting the number of engines hanging on the outside.

I almost daren't ask this question lest anyone think I'm insulting the author..The colours on the foresection on the Falcon are slightly different to those on the rest of the fuselage. Is this a bug, is it just my computer or what?Caveat: I think the Falcon 50 is a work of art, I emailed Yannick thanking him as soon as it was released, and I'm very grateful to all freeware authors for graciously sharing their work with us.

Hi,Anyone install the new Aeroflot that was released to avsim today? If so, where is the aircraft handbook that the author is talking about? I see no details on how to install this aircraft or to get all of the things that come with this plane to function. It comes with working cabin doors but in the readme txt. there is nothing written about it. Thanks, S.

In older versions of FS, using the mouse as a yoke was an available option. Why is this no longer the case...or, is there a way to make the mouse act as a yoke in FS2002?

The first final version of FS Addon Manager has been released today.FS Addon Manager is a great, brand new Software for managing addons to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002. You may easily import your existing Aircraft, Panels, Sounds and Sceneries. You may assign panels and sounds to aircraft as you whish. You may also install new aircraft and sceneries directly from most distribution ZIP files you may have downloaded. The comprehensive Hangar management allows you to manage and configure your addons off your live FS2002 installation. The quick and easy one-click scenery management lets you keep on disk just those currently used. You may compress addons into ZIP packages …

It's a set of replacement LandClass textures from our Italian friends..... The referenced site is Italian but if you read the thread it references to a translation!Basically it replaces a bunch of textures in Scenedb/World/texturescalled XXXX.AGN and improves the look of FS2002.I have installed them and it works for me! :)http://www.flightsimnetwork.com/dcforum/DC...ID10/21667.htmlIf you read Italian - the download site is:http://digilander.iol.it/aliditalia/autogenius.htmlHappy Flying

Flying the default 737, with full fuel (simulator weight appx 136,000 lbs), I'm getting average climb-to-altitude rates of about 2200fpm. Rotating from the t/o runway, my climbs are done beginning at 90% N1, with a rate adjusted to maintain 270-280kts. I do not touch the throttles on the way up, so near altitude (FL3X0) my power's at 83-80% N1. Climbs take about 15 minutes, and as I mentioned, average 2200fpm.Is this normal? I've think I recall reading about having to do level segments when near MTOW to maintain acceptable airspeed on the way up. It certainly seems more powerful than the 737 was in FS2000. Could it be that MS kludged the aircraft's power to prevent level …

I've built a new system and decided to go with the Radeon 8500. I am generally happy with its FS2002 performance except for one thing: my shiny/reflective textures have disappeared, replaced with a dingy grey. I suspect there is some obscure settting I am missing, and yes, I do have the appropriate FS option in the aircraft menu checked. Any help would be greatly appreciated.TomMSI KT3 UltraXP1900Radeon 8500512 MB DDR 2700 333

I had a shutdown problem after I freshly install XP Pro and FS2002. What happened was after certain time inflight or on the ground,XP shutdown n and start computer. It took me almost a week trying every solution I can think of. Then I got article about not for FS2002, but general gaming tip says disable all power management program include screen saver. They are sometimes not compatible and computers to crash. After I turned off screen saver and power manager from XP, BINGO no shutdown for 5 hours flying various airplane and locations. So,maybe some of you who have XP blue,Try and post the result.Key From KLAX

Various People have expressed an opinion that I have not been clear as to the nature of my post regarding Freeware Authors. Firstly may I say that the post that started this which involved Mike Stones Meridian was purely a catalyst I used to express an opinion that I have felt for some time and wasnt directed at Mike.In my opinion there is a protectionist attitude which has grown up around freeware and that attitude has resulted in an intolerance to any comments made about freeware which can be classified as anything but complimentary.A number of people have written saying that they have made polite comments which they intended to be constructive feedback regarding variou…

Here is a link to a most interesting forum:http://www.pprune.org/forums/It is a proffesional pilots forum and it's pretty interesting to read stuff like "Taking off from KLAX in an A320 last week, I was given 3 minute separation following a 757 and we encountered severe wake turbulence..." it's cool to know that these are real life incidents being discussed.

Before I start, great job on the payware and freeware from Real Air! You guys are on top of the game, (along with Mike Stone, Ron Freimuth, Yannick Lavine, Steve Small, Roger Long, Fred Choate, Barry Blaisdell). (BTW, as another side note. We should have a Hall of Fame. I know there are others, but these are the most memorable for me.)Ok, anyway, one of the most commonly used aircraft in the U.S. commercial world is the B1900(D). Not only does it appeal to the commercial world. But, it also appeals to the GA world b/c it is smaller and essentially has the "flyability" of the KA350. Any chance that you or another competetent designer would want to do a payware version with…
