EFG has announced that two of their top 757 painters have left their organization. POSKY has stated several times that their 757 project is being delayed perhaps by months.And many other freeware/payware groups are just not intrested in the 757.Are we ever going to see a true FS2002 757 within our MSFS enviorment?

Actually, two quick questions:1).In the process of "splitting" an airport, do I remove ALL objects on just one side of the airport, and export the remaining objects as the "new" airport; and, then repeat the process for the other side?2). If the airport has only two runways, is the runway length consideration an issue at all?Many thanks ... !

I am planning on upgrading my P III 450 to a Athlon XP 1800 with new motherboard and DDR RAM and 400 W power supply. I don't have any problems with the installation except for how to deal with the existing OS and programs on the hard drive. Do I have to delete everything from the hard drive and re-format? If so how do I do that? Or can I just install everything and turn on the computer?Any help would be greatly appreciated.Andy

I'm trying to use my GF4Ti4400 in a dual monitor configuration for FS2K2. I can only seem to use both by enabling nView and then selecting Duplicate (same screen on both which is useless) or Horizontal (the screen "stretches" onto both monitors but I can't select 1600x1200, only "very wide" by 768 is max. Also, windows2000 doesn't recognize a second monitor in the device manager...this is how it worked with my radeon8500 - dual monitor - windows recognizes and installs 2 monitors and I can select "stretch desktop across both monitors" in video/display options. If anyone is using duals effectively with a GF4, how did you set it up and how do you make win2000 recognize b…

jerrycwo4I just installed Pack #3 and #4 of Austria Airports and each airport had the "CARDBOARD X's" instead of certain trees. Has anyone else had this problem. 2 quick question for you all,1. Does having numerous aircraft in your aircraft folder, over and above the defaults, have any impact on frame rates (i.e the more the slower it becomes...?)2. Very pleased with this bird, but the engine quits when it lands on water and I've tried everything I can think of to get it to re-start.(it'll turn over, but not fire).

When Painting Aircraft I have noticed if I look at a plane in the viewer of flight sim the livery is then held in memory so when i make the changes to it it will not show the change enless i reboot Flight sim.This means when you are choosing the aircraft you wish to fly,the more you are looking at, the more are remaining in memory ,So as you decide to fly a plane your RAM is filled with other planes .If you decide before starting fs the plane you are to be flying then you will have more free memoryI try this many times and each time fs works more better the less plane i Browse at.See if i am wrong for you self :-)Anniette xxxxxxxxx

Hi EveryoneI have the FS 2K2 Standard edition. Now when visiting some VA sites they insisted that their pilots use FS 2K2 Professional. I mean apart from a few extra planes and the instructor station, has the professional edition any other differences (e.g. better quality rendering of scenery ??) from the standard edition ? (Oh yeah I forgot the price tag ;-) ...but apart from that as well).Essentially ...is flying in the Professional Edition any different from flying in the Standard Edition ?Thanks in advance for your replies :-)Keralapilot

After having found Terblanche's excellent 737-200panel in the files, I went looking for a good earlymodel 737 to match my steam gauged panel. Founda few Yeodesigns planes...particularly an excellentAerolineas Argentinas airplane. From that I got two questions.1. This plane porpoises when on autopilot when triggeredfrom FSNavigator. This is just like the default B747'sdo/did. How to fix? Can I somehow cut and paste anaircraft.cfg section from the default B737-400? 2. Is this possibly a panel problem?Oh..guess I have another question...where or what happendto Yeodesigns? I cant find them on the web any more.Eric

Since my birthday is coming up, I am going to be getting some rudder pedals and a flight yoke. Unfortunately, I am unsure of what is the best to buy and yet has the best price. I have checked around at websites like CompUSA and found that there is at least a 20$ difference between the price on a USB and an old 15-pin game port yoke. So, of course, I have been led to the MSFS general forum and its infinite knowledge :D. If any of you could suggest a good yoke/pedal combo that costs up to 225$ or so, I would be very greatful!Thank you in advance!Scott

Hello,I have a problem! Somehow something causes FS2k2 to crash so badly that Windows2000 as well crashes and boots again. Now it was the time that after my PC rebooted and I tried to start FS2k2, FS2k2 wouldnt start at all. The intro screen comes and that's it - END! No, FS2k2 doesnt just end but the intro keeps staying and the taskmanager tells me that FS2k2 has locked /frosen and the CPU runns 100% hot. So I have to manualy end FS2k2.I already deleted the FS2002.cfg and I as well renamed the folder where FS2002 is located and deleted the registry entry and re-installed FS2k2 all over again. I have done a few flights with FSNAV and find the moving map kinda cool, but FlightMax you can have an even more cool moving map...ok, it will cost around fifty US Dollars for the maps, but seem worth it. any thoughts?FSNav is a flight planner...FSMax is not. both are good but are both needed?This Hobby Just Keeps Getting Better... :-yellow1Kind RegardsRobert

I tried to post this at FlightMax but they seem to be down or something so I thought I would try here.I downloaded the trial version of FlightMax and the patch and installed them into my FS2000 drive. I still fly there more than 2002 primarily because I haven't figured out how to get my favorite platforms into 2002 yet.
