I hope someone can help, preferably using words of one syllable...I'm keen to make my airports and skies more busy, but am confused by the number of add-ons that seem to promise this.Basically, I want to convert the contents of my FS Aircraft folder to become AI traffic. But what do I need to achieve this? I have variously read of AFCAD and TTools - but I am uncertain as to how they work and what they do.Please could someone shed some light on this?Many many thanksRob

I posted my concern about this upload which unzipped with no documentation, nothing except a executable. I asked if anyone had used it sucessfully but got no reply. Now there is a report of FS being damaged after installation of this file. It may be a coincidence or bug. Since the author provided no contact, there is no way to ask him about it. The lack of contact or documentation is suspecious in itself.Would some of the over 600 downloaders of this file please tell us about their experience with it?The fact that virus checkers find nothing wrong with it doesn't mean anything as an FS specific program could do things that a virus checker wouldn't detect.Michael Lyon…

Hi there,I'm using (together with AFCAD) the AI-Shuffler to optimize my ai-traffic for europe. Everything's fine so far.Together with the shuffler, I downloaded some packs of (middleclass-quality) planes (made with gmax) to bring real airlines (not these microsoft-world-airlines) on my screen. Now my tiny problem: I don't want to use these aircrafts to fly them by myself. So I don't need them to be shown in the aircraft menue. Somewhere I heard that the aircraft don't appear in the menue, if you delete the specific panel-folders. I've done that, but the aircrafts still appear in my aircraft-menue. I'm not able to find any difference between the default ai-aircraft (e.g. t…

Forgot to post this earlier... According to cnet (http://news.com.com/2100-1001-898978.html?tag=fd_top), the major OEMs will start offering 533MHz FSB P4 systems as of this monday (05/06). The new CPUs will be released in 2.26GHz, 2.4GHz, and 2.53GHz parts. I believe these Northwoods will be branded P4"B's", but there was no mention of this in the article at cnet. Raves are legal, they require permits by the government, so that they can be held.

Using Pete Dowson's FS Interrogate, I found the auto-coordination problem.Here's the background. Many people have made gauges that allow toggling of auto-coord in FS98 and 2K from a panel. In FS2K2 this gauge no longer works.Using FSInterrogate, I have found that offset $027C is the auto-coord setting for FS98 and FS2000, but it's offset $0278 in FS2002.I don't know what the FS team were thinking, but this one feature is a must-have for taxiing and flying, and they need to reset the Auto-Rudder to offset $027c so all these auto-coord gauges work again.

If I hit F1 it finally stops accelerating. I tried turning the low idle down but that doesn't really work either. What is the best way to control the taxi speed with the default Kingair 350?Thanks,Noel

I am interested in getting a steering wheel for my PC. Alot of them come with accelerator and brake as I have found. I don't want garbage and was wondering what the best force feedback unit is? Also, should I get force feedback? And while your at it, give me your opinion on the best INDY type racing sim out there. In the last day or so, I have been having some strange things happen in FS2k2. I have never had any problems, no lockups, no blurries (thank god), no issues really. Than all of a sudden, My baron flight dynamics(Steve Small's-so I can't get it back), my 172 dynamics, and my Commander (very strange the choice of planes, eh?) went to krap.(*#@$. My 172 just falls out of the sky and I had to reinstall the Commander. I have not reinstalled the 172 off of CD yet, and I b/c Steve isn't sending out his great Baron file anymore, I am screwed. But, I have made no changes to those planes or anything in general, other than downloading the Convair in the last few days and the Italian…

the GEFORCE 4 Ti Post!!!

Ok, My sky has is a line (change of color)in it all the way around - I am using 32 bit colors 1280/960. I am using Sky World and FSMeteo. Everything looks great but there is a division between lower and upper sky. I tried to upload a pic but I couldnt get it to work.Also, my waves stopped moving on the water - any ideas??? I have all the sliders maxed and I am getting no waves. I installed one of the water effects packages I found on Avsim, and no more waves. :-(Please help me if you can.Thanks,Steve :-wave
