I did a IFR flight yesterday into Reno, and this morning a flight into Las Vegas, and on both flights, ATC never hands me off to Approach. I get vectored almost to the runway, but I'm never told to contact approach, and as a result, I just keep flying right by the airport. I can climb and descend, turn to whatever heading, and ATC never informs me I'm off course.. Is their a problem in this area? Has anyone else seen this problem other then in Nevada? Thanks...

Hi guy's! Well I just got the registered version of FS METEO today! but I have big problems getting it to conncet to the FS METEO server!! I did everything to set up FS METEO readme file, and i keep getting this message when i click on "AUOT CONNECT/DISSCONNECT" I get this error message......."The computer you're dialing in to cannot establish a Dial-Up Networking connection.Check your password, and then try again." I checked all the things in the Prefrences menu in FS METEO to match my FS METEO networking name, but still does not connect it!!!??? Why What am i doing wrong?? Hi all, Is there anything out there that one can download to improve the visibilty and distance at which runway lights show up? I was flying into O'Hare at 6:00AM, and noticed the TOTAL ABSENCE OF RUNWAY LIGHTS. Maybe I eliminated them somehow with all the enhancements I try from time to time. Please tell me how to be assured that I have the right files in my scenery folder for full runway lights and brightness. If it's a common problem, then, please let me know if there's an improvement available. Thanks, Stan

Hi !I've downloaded the updated wing textures for the PSS A319/A321 by PSS and Don Goke. They work fine, but many of my A321 and A319 have registration numbers on the wings, and the updated wings don't have registration numbers. So, in MS Paint, I copied the corrected part of the wing textures to past them on the incorrect wing textures, so that it'd make correct wing textures WITH registration numbers...I hope you understand ;-)But back to MSFS, the wing textures I modified didn't show up ! :'(It may be due to the fact that I haven't saved the file in 32bits colors, but with MS Paint I can't save in 32bits colors mode. Hi PaulI notice from your sig that you o/c your Ti200.I have the same card and am interested in your results; do you (honestly) see any noticeable increase in performance in FS? I can understand how Quake 12 or whatever might run faster, but am sceptical about something like FS.Also, have you added any extra cooling? You seem to have cranked it up quite high.... ! Cheers

Did some searches and could not get good info on the following.1. After simming for 20-30 minutes or on approach to a complex airport the frame rates gradually go down to 1-2 FPS...then if you Alt-Enter the frame rates go back up to MY normal 15-25..! I usually run in full screen...and I run all the complex panel/aircraft combos. PIC, PSS, and Dream Fleet. Happens with all and freeware also!2. What is it with the strobes at the airports and on tall towers during day light hours they send out a black splinter or wedge into the sky looks awful!Any ideas!!!RegardsTony

Does anyone know how to load a flightplan into it? I got a .dll from the other site which lets you load flight plans into it form FS Nav. I can load it in put how in the world do you activate it? The ND keeps saying "No route data available" but everything else works on there???? How do you activate your flight plan in his FMC?Eric

Hi,I just got myself a geforce3 to pump up my old athlon 750 MHz (I got 384 MB of sdram). I was wondering what were the best settings for the card to work with FS2K2. I got a Sparkle card, and there isn't any tweaker program with it. Are the detonator drivers better? Do they include some kind of tweak programs?There is also something bothering me, especially when I fly at high altitudes, the scenery is blurry... well, some parts are, and some aren't. Anybody with the same problem? Is there a fix for that? 3 minor issues I've had w/the Prowler:- Has anyone gotten the anti-collision beacon light to work? (yes, I have the fx file installed correctly and the switch is on)- The front cockpit isn't lit at night for me.- Does the Prowler really only have a 10k fuel load? I remember 16k from somewhere...I know these are all very minor bugs, and I suppose I'm nitpicking an excellent aircraft. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Does anyone know how do I adjust the GMT in FS2002?It seems that the local time for those cities in the GMT+8hrs are not correct. For example, in WSSS, it should be GMT+8hr all year round but the default shows GMT+6hrs.Thanks Folks
