I placed the standard Bendix King radios on a panel I'm working on and when I run it in the sim I can't change the frequencies on com1/2 or nav1/2. The adf, xpndr, etc all work fine. So then I tried several other radio gauges with the same result. When I select an ATC option to switch radio frequencies the radios change, but I can't change them manually. Never had this happen on a panel before. Any ideas?Mike Stone

Have a look at this! It's in Italian but if you download the Autogenius program, all you need to do is BACK UP the 217 *.agn files in your SCENEDBWorldTexture directory and replace them with the 217 *.agn files in the download. Hi there,Anyone know a hint or program that makes me able to continue flying in window mode while i for instance check my mail or browse the web.I already tried a small program called OnTop which brings windows to the forground but still if i click on a different window FS2k2 goes into pause.Anyone a suggestion?ThanksPaul

What would y'all consider to be the min specs for a second computer running wideview with FS2K2. My main comp is an AMD 1700 with a GeForce 3 ti and 512 DDR RAM, but I've got a pentium 500 with 256 RAM and a Speedstar Pro vid card, and a pentium 233 MHZ, with a Speedstar Pro Vid card. Anyone think these could work as wideview clients?Joe

I have purchased FS 2002 and I would like some help on how to use the auto tune feature with the ATC window open? And where do I find this information on the aircraft or do I find this information in the options.Also is there any patches for FS 2002 Professional Edition? Thanks Lenard

It was a case of "It wasnt broken; why did I try to fix it"(specs: two monitors, a GeForce 3 ti200 and a GeForce2 PCI)I was cruising along with dual monitors on MFSF2k2, I changed something and now everytime I try to fire up MSFSs with two monitors, the program is minimized to the task bar and there it stays.Any ideas what may be causing this?Also, can anyone explain why it shows I have three monitors when I have only two??Dang, why didnt I leave well enought alone??!!!JOhnWOh, yeah... under the "hardware tab" in flight sim, it shows twoGeForce3 ti cards and not the two I have.Please help.

I thought I'd never have to, but attempting to maximise fps in FS2002 recently set me on a course of disaster which ended with my wiping the C disk and reinstalling windows. I had worried about the size of my registry - it was over 1500K, and I was pleased to see it now under 600K - then I reinstalled DX8.1 and my G3 drivers and suddenly it was over 1Mg again. So I was wondering how big a registry should be? For a start I hate waiting for the reg back-up when I start Windows. So please post your reg sizes up here (If you don't know how to find out, go to win/sysbckup and look for the cab files at the bottom - thats your registry back-up)ThanksAll from me Georgethetee

Just took off with the Convair 580 and the nose gear would not retract. Even on the ground any rough taxiway or runway causes it to dive into the ground.Frank B^)

It's funny how sometimes you work and work on a problem and then, two minutes after you post something, you figure it out.That's what happened here.... so, in case anyone runs into this in the future (or even cares) ...See Previous post that explains the problem.1. My startup flight was saved in the VC mode, with two windows open.I figured this had something to do with it when I would disconnect the second monitor, restart MSFS and the two windows, in VC mode, would show up on startup.So, I closed them, resaved the flight as startup in 2D mode, restarted the extra monitor, fired up MSFS and, VOILA, all is well.So, if anyone cares, just a tidbit to put in the FAQ vault.Joh…

Yesterday, in one of the PSS forums, somebody commented that PSS might to sensitive to criticism. PSS replied that they were not and further stated that they offer the best customer support in the business.Questions: 1) Out of DF734, PIC, and PSS, which one gives the best customer support?2) Which of the 3 companies is most sensitive to criticism?I am asking these questions because I am going to buy of of airliners as a gift for a family member, and because the level of customer support will be a factor in the purchase.Mark

Hi all, especially graphics card gurus like Paul and Max,A few days ago I upgraded to the GeForce3TI200. The one problem I have encountered can only be described as jumping textures. These occur in front of or near to the aircraft during take-off and landing. The runway, or grass, appears to have difficulty in keeping up so I am getting a flashing effect. This did not happen with my old TNT2 card.I have tried various settings with the NVMAX tweaker without success. What do you recommend?Also is there any graphics card setting that could be adjusted to improve frame rates? Landing at a busy airport like Heathrow is a slideshow (4.5 frame rate) even with my supposedly speed…
