One of the things I loved about using split throttles with FSUIPC was that you could also map the reverse thrust threshold of your stick. Sometimes I use my Suncomm throttle as a single engine throttle but would like to map the reverse thrust. Is this possible? It seems like I've tried everything but hopefully I've overlooked something. Thanks!David

got it from a link posted yesterday to an italian site. autogenius is the name. makes the scenery alot more 'real' imho. still not landclass quality but rearranges houses and trees to more acceptable proportions, no dense woods or forests yet but sure is getting better. did a crosscountry trip around my neigbourhood (holland) and got that certain feeling of being there. that was a first. Things look bright. big tip.

Yep, I was in the word processor last Thursday night when the box did the lock-up. I knew right away what had died. Reboots yielded clean POST's but Windows would not load. Next evening I swapped out the IBM with a Maxtor and the bits n' bytes started flowing again. Sunday evening I E-mailed the vendor but still have not heard from them. With the attitude IBM has taken toward it's data storage customers lately I don't expect too much from them.Lemonade from lemons version: I now have a clean install of the OS and applications. :-lol

I've been admiring the many aircraft that are available for FS2002, and everyday the list here and at other sites seems to grow. Although I really enjoy many of the available aircraft, there seems to be a lack of small business jets. It's either small to large props or small to large commercial jets, very rarely does someone make a business jet available!I'm eagerly awaiting the release of Dreamfleet's, Posky's and Simubuild's A340. But I've seen the new Lear from FFG and it looks awesome. Perhaps this could be a trend, as the default Lear in FS2002 is nothing to write home about in comparison with the Baron or Caravan. For the past couple of months I have been flying the default FS2K2 Baron 58. I recently added a second computer to use WidevieW (which, BTW, is a blast :D ). This required moving my CH yoke and pedals to the new system. On the old system, I had used the CH control manager to calibrate the CH equipment. With the new system, I couldn't get the control manager to work, so I just let Win XP detect the pedals, and then used FSUIPC to calibrate. I noticed two things right off the bat. First, taxi mode is immensely improved. Before, the slightest touch of the pedals could cause very severe directional drifts. In addition, I had a terrible time controlling taxi speed (always too …

I have two questions...1. How can I find what BGL file's are needed to select for decompiling when edsiting an airport. For Example N 39:17'39.707 W 080:13'45.555 KCKB.2. Can one change the Shift+Z Coordinates to DD:MM'SS.SSSS from the default of DD:MM.SSSS.I know one could add a line to the .CFG in older FS versions but it is not mentioned in FS2002. Can anyone help me??????

Hi all,I am unable to get precipitation when using VATSIM weather. The vatsim weather report indicates precipitation however, I don't see it. All other weather conditions, clouds, winds, temp are fine.If I disconnect and use FS2002's own real weather I get the precipitation just fine.Any help would be appreciated.- Murf

Three new Airbus panels were posted to the library today. I have asked for these files to be removed. All three panel files contain bitmaps taken from my A320 pack and then modified. As anyone here that has contacted me in the past knows, I am very flexible when it comes to someone using my work. All I ask is that the person in question seek my permission and acknowledge my contribution to the effort. Is this too much to ask for the hundreds (yes, hundreds) of hours I have put into developing products which I give away for free? Am I being unreasonable here?Mike Stone

This might be off topic, I'm not sure but can anyone tell me where I can find a good training website for VATSIM piloting. From what I've seen so far on their website, it seems to be mostly geared towards Pro Controller and ATC.I'm just starting out, and want to get a head start on this as I am anxious to try it out.Thanks for your help.

Hi allThe only thing my aircraft collection lacks is a really good add-on airliner. I've got a number of excellent free/payware GA planes, but nothing bigger than the Falcon 50.I've downloaded some of the POSKY and Project Airbus models, which are very beautiful, but I really miss the VC.I used to fly the PSS 777 in FS2000, and loved it.What would you recommend? I don't mind paying for a good one; I've been tempted by the PIC 767, but again there's no VC. Is it worth it despite this? Or is anyone aware of any upcoming freeware airliners which will have a VC?Your opinions appreciated.Cheers

Its been a while since I've done any panel work and of course things change, so how do you edit/paint panel Bmps and then keep the transparency of the windows/Black? is it indexed in the panel.cfg or is it set with an alpha channel?If Alpha are used are there any tools beside the SDK tools that will save alpha channels with the larger Bmps?Thanks!Paul

What does everybody else prefer?? I used Ai Shuffler until last night. I tried the AirExtt file and seemed to work great. Ai Shuffler reduces your flight plans, AirExtt maintains the 23000 thats in your system. I just replaced the aircraft file in ttools w/my current one with all my imported aircraft..Seems better than AiShuffler...Whats your preference???????????????????????????
