Hi there fellow simmersMy Question is: What is the best way the use the AI Traffic Flightplans.I have seen heaps of these little files that a differnet liverys on flightsim.com and flight plans, but are unsure how to get the most out of addon scenery and ai traffic.I've always wanted a crowded airport with national flag carries and stuff like that, any information on this question would be great.Many ThanksPaul HarwoodNew [email protected]

Ive managed to get the vapour trails working and currently im just trying to fit the numbers to a few of my own planes (namely the POSKY A330-300)[sMOKESYSTEM]smoke.0=-900,-26.3,-77.4, fx_contrail_s.fxsmoke.1=-900,-26.3,77.4, fx_contrail_s.fx This is the coding that goes into the arcraft cfg file, but i need to know exactly what each number does. I think the second number is the position forward and behind a reference point on the plane. And the last number is the horizontal distance from the centre reference point...But what does the first number change???AND HOW do you change the verticle position of the trails to fit the wingtips????Help would be much appreciated, re…

Not the AI aircraft but any FS2K2 aircraft. Some of the planes you really have to hold the brake to taxi or they will just taxi at 20-30 knots?Thanks to anyone who can answer this.....Ed

Thought I might update you guys on this. I have pretty much finished the VC with one exception. The gauges to be put on and a few final tweaks. Unfortunatly, both Geof and myself have been working flat out trying to figure out how to get the gauges to show up, so until we have that done, it's still gauge-less and no closer to being released. This is very strange - and I don't know why it is happening.Any ideas?What should I try first? Reinstall FS2002 or reinstall video drivers?The only this I did last night was to add some landclass .bgl files and then run FS2002 for them to be picked up by the scenery library - I have had these .bgl ( Pacific Northwest ) installed before so I don't think it is related.Can you help?Thanks,MylesThe 3rd pic shows textures if I select some other program as the active window. I think maybe that is because it goes into software mode instead of 3d accelerated.

Just wondering - After reading about the AI traffic plans and utilities I'm at a bit of a loss because I'm not sure where to start.Lee Swordy's program apparently needs Microsoft Access to work, which I don't have.Beyond that, I'm basically looking for a list of utilities I need to be able to add AI traffic.Thanks,Andrew

Hi;I was just wondering if anyone has had problems downloading Ariane Air Shop's Boeing 737's?? I paid for two aircraft that I wanted to download, and when I was given the links to the download....the next page came up saying NOT FOUND. Its the second time I've tried to download both of them....and both times it says error, 404 or page not found.I tried emailing Ariane Studio's various times, and they take like 2 weeks to reply back....and they only reply when they want to. I have sent them many emails.They said they would get there servers fixed and that all should be fixed now....but that was a joke. It hasn't changed.Does anyone know what else I can do to download …

I've just remembered that with FS2000 and FS98 addon scenery (Gatwick), we had the road network of the whole UK. The motorways were either blue with lighter blue specs for cars (ie Gatwick M23) or lots of yellow dots everywhere.This is really what is missing in FS2002, the extra detail from the roads at night, definetly makes the scenery come alive.As we have seen animated water, why can't there be animated roads, with cars moving along motorways and roads? Even more, why not animated trees that blow in the breeze?Is any one planning to produce some scenery for the UK road network?..Your all saying "don't forget my country" lol,,, yep and other countries too.I sure hope…

I have had Microsoft force feedback 2 for awhile and I have not gotten the thing to act right. When I use the Fs2000 profile I get errors pop up looking for scenery profile or something like that. If I use the generic cessna one I get no force feedback. Does anyone have a working force feed back profile that they can sent me. Gang - I hope someone can help.Yesterday I upgraded my GeForce2 Ti 440 to a Geforce4 MX420, because I had a bit of spare cash, but couldn't get as much card as I wanted.Now, FS2002 GMAX aircraft no longer display their reflections. I notice that either a) after flying for a while, or :( starting off in a mountainous area, my hard drive is constantly accessing.Any thoughts on ways to minimize this? It's what seems to be causing stutters.BTW, with almost everything turned up (and full autogen) I generally get really smooth flying...Andrew

I spent this evening working on behalf of one of Landclass Assistant's fans, Al Douglass, who helped identify a problem with landclass updates. Al discovered a consistent blue border on the southern and eastern edges of each scenery update. Tom Copeland had also alerted me to this issue, but I followed the wrong hunch and came up with the wrong solution.This .inf file corrects the problem. Please do not question the X/Y dimensions--they work, due to the way resample.exe parses the .raw file. By using these dimensions, I am able to retain the 256x256 .raw file format, around which Landclass Assistant's innards are defined. This problem was hinted at in a recent thread…

I have 2 pc, one with Windows XP another with Windows ME, when I connect FS2002 with wide to the anoter pc it's work good, but now I have update the Windows ME pc to Windows XP and now I can't connect to the anoter pc !!!!
