hey everyone, I was wondering how you autoland a plane in MSFS with no control inputs at all. I can make it steer me in in the correct direction to the centerline but I have to increase/decrease altitude manually. Can I make it do all the work??? thanks for the help!

HiI am very shortly going to buy a new computer.my card at the moment is a "Hercules geforce2 ultra"Will i see a big difference if i have a geforce ti4600?also i have read that it incorporates a nfinate fx engine that enables you to run multiple monitors, does this allow drag and drop to second and third monitors.appreciate any advice, thanks Don

I was wondering what everyone likes about FSMeteo. I don't think I understand the full use of this add-on. I thought it gives real-time weather, but isn't that feature built into FS2002? I can just download the real weather for my airport. Is FSMeteo more advanced?Most people say they can't do without FSMeteo, I'm not sure what extra features it adds to the game.Also, does FSMeteo affect frame rates?Dave

I have by process of elimination terminating processes in order togain more heap memory for FS. Does anyone know exactly what can be killed without affecting performance. Any help would be much appreciated. TksBobG

There's been a lot of discussion lately about the Vansairco MD-80 series cockpit. I must say I like the aircraft but I can't take the virtual cockpit. So here's what I did. Change your Views section of your aircraft.cfg file to the following (as an example): [Views] //eyepoint=57.581, -1.564, 4.178 (this is the original line) eyepoint=64.581, -1.564, 4.178Then download one of the Md-80 series cockpits at Avsim.com or flightsim.com that has interior views ( I like Marco Spada's re-work of Paul Golding's MD-87 panel. Hi Everyone.Been looking around and came accross these two websites, where you can printout your own templates for making 3D glasses.But what it does not tell you, is that you may need 2 layers of red/blue, depending on the shade of cellopane you buy. Myself and Scott Jensen have recently begun making a freeware Commander 114TC panel. The panel art is by me and the panel.cfg and gauge placement is by Scott. Besides the basic features such as the altimiter, air speed, HSI, etc, it also has some of the highest quality freeware gauges like the Garmin GNS GPS by Coyote Avionics Design and the radio stack is made using gauges from Mooney Bravo Avionics Upgrade by Coyote Avionics Design! The goal of the main panel is to be mainly a high-visibility panel for crusing and final approaches. The radios and navigation will be via pop-ups. Of all the bizarre FS mess-ups this one takes the cake. I taxied to runway 17 at ENBR and just before reaching the runway I started getting dirt effects (like when landing on rough ground). Surprisingly when I stopped on the runway I still had a cloud of dirt hanging around my aircraft. Worse yet, the dirt continued after takeoff. My aircraft was trailing dirt all the way to EGKK. The only solution was to save the situation and restart FS. Any clues? Please let me know if anyone is having these 2 issues with the new and great Debonair. 1st. Getting a Gauge warning before loading (3rd party software) on 2 gauges. 2nd. Right/Front view is 6.5 magnification zoom. All the other views are right on.Please let me know if it's my installation or if indeed this is a problem. Stan

HiI have this working fine with red and green glasses2382 vid drivers and 2311 stereo drivers but I cant seem to balance out the colors, with 1 lens red and the other green which individual gamma channels do I need to readjust to get back to natural colors.THXSUN

Even with Steve Small's version II improved airfile, I still have a lot of trouble taxiing with the Baron 58. It feels like it is "glued" to the ground -- I need to apply a lot of power for the Baron to begin moving and then it takes off too fast -- after that, if I decrease the throttle a little too much, it stops again and it gets stuck to the gound all over again.Also, after I increase the throttle to get it to move, the Baron makes a slight turn to the left when it begins to taxi.Up until I flew Geofa's B33, I thought that FS2002 was not able to simulate props too well. I am flying using Barry's B1900. I have both the Skyway & Continental version. I was flying KDFW-KOKC when I notice a problem. The plane was yawing back & forth. While this was happening, the RPM & FF gauge were also fluctuating in time to the yaw. I did not notice this on my initial, short test hops. It seemed to get worse as I went along. Here are the things I checked.1. fuel balanced2. turned off all weather3. cut throttle, prop & fuel control to full back & full forward4. yoke & rudder calibration. Any ideas? Hi all,I noticed that when I added the Sothwest AI routes and a Soutwest plane I downloaded (to be the plane used in the AI routes), my frames dropped to around 5 FPS around airports that Southwest services. The generic AI planes that are included with FS2K2 do not drop my frames this low...is this a problem with the plane I downloaded? I see a lot of screenies with multiple carriers, types of airplanes, and taxiways backed up with 15+ aircraft, and I wonder if their FPS are dropped as well.
