Really enjoying this great new freeware add-on. I have the RealityXP module and didn't really have any problems with the original Deb installation.I just installed the new patch by renaming and replacing the panel.cfg as per the instructions. But I have a problem with the Deb.Cab guage as downloaded, Win Zip won't recognize it as a zip archive and so it won't unzip and go into my guage folder.So the result of all that is now I don't have the HSI any more, which was fine before the patch.Is there a problem with the file upload? Nevery had this problem with Win Zip before. If no easy solution, I'll just re-install the orginal without the patch.thanks Chris (PHNL)

Hello all,Is there anything out there that is in writing to help explain how to get the most out of the AI traffic, and is easy to understand..i'm seeing more and more posts about people adding flight plans and stuff for realistic AI traffic flows, but I have no idea where to begin..also does doing so impact your frame rates, because I've seen some posts that it does..I'm one who prefers smoothness over AI traffic so right now I have mine set to around 10%, but I'd surely love to have some realistic traffic in the skies around me if it wont make FS too slow..thanks for the help everyone.Stephen

Unfortunately, I can't give proper credit to the original source for these (they were downloaded from UseNet somewhere along the way). Hi All,FS2002 really looks so nice...just a pleasure to fly with. The first three shots are climbing out of KPDX...Portland Oregen and the forth is a over shooting of RWY 07 at KLAX Los Angeles ( at least I landed ). I know in the past there has been a mention of using the 3D shutter glasses with FS2002.These are not cheap, and don't people realise that you don't need these glasses to use 3D, as you can download the 3d drivers, and use to old fashioned read and blue glasses, which can be made, or bought for next to nothing.Has anyone here tried viewing in 3d this way, with the read and blue glasses?Seems people hve been talking about these glasses and viewing in 3d, when it's been avaialble for years, yet many have not made use of it.maybe people have forgotten you can use read and blue with the stereo drivers to get out of the cockpit views in 3D.I have not tried it yet, as I will ne…

Hi,I have just built a PC but I have MAJOR problems, could someone please help!my spec is: AMD Athlon 1700XP 1.47Ghz processorI have an Asus A7N266-C motherboard with that came with an ACR A6CH ACR card (sound card) and a GeForce2 Mx400 64Mb graphics card. The installation of the graphic card went fine, drivers and all. When I came to install the soundcard drivers I had real problems. Anyway I installed the first driver and I had sound but whenever I went into a graphics program or game it worked initialy and then when I exited the screen went beserk and my system crashed. Is there any way to get smoke effects from the wings? I'm not talking about the engine smoke effects at 30.000+ ft. More like the smoke you can see coming from the wings of certain airplanes when landing (like the DC-10 for example)

I create my flight plans with fs2002 planner and many of these but not all are messed up in that atc repeatedly changes my flight heading, only to again have me resume own navigation. These plans can be quite annoying. :-(I think this has been discussed some time ago, but can't recall why this happens and how can I eliminate this problem.Need your help !SteveCYYZ

Hello guys,I wanted to share this with all of you, as a real world student pilot I'm learning all about navigation, specially VFR navigation also known as Dead Reckoning (or looking out the window to find your way around), here you don't really use any VORs or NDBs or any means of electronic aids to find your way, you just use heading, time and ground references. I am making my first attempts at using the Traffic Tools 1.2.I do notice that my frame rates (I know everyone hates that phrase by now) plummet to around 4-5 FPS if two or three of the AI planes are in my view. I have used a couple yeodesigns 737s, some of the Posky 767 and A330s.Is there a way to reduce the impact of these planes on my FPS? I've messed up my Scenery.cfg file when I tried to edit it and now I've lost the Flatten/Exclude data of Some of my Simflyers' sceneries (KDFW and KLAX) and German Airports 1 & 3. Is anyone kind enough to provide me the data? Thanks. :)
