Hi All,Since you all enjoyed my SNJ Pics, I have uploaded the majority of my Oshkosh pics from 2001. I will probably rebuild the SNJ Gallery for larger shots like the Oshkosh ones. Let me know if the quality and layout is acceptable. Thanks. :-)Original Pics are of much higher quality. 1280 x 960. These are 800 x 600 and quality of 4 in Photoshop 6.0.I only have 60mb of webspace across 6 email accounts so I have to spread the FTP uploads around. These took quite a while to compile and upload and Let's just say my ISP servers are not the most reliable and there is yet another merger of ISP's coming down the pike in the way of Comcast & AT&T.These will stay up un…

And this may have something to do with my post about needing 2k2 pro gauges...But anyway, I've downloaded this apparently wonderful aircraft and gauges aren't showing up.Yes, I d/l'ed it for FS 2000, but completely uninstalled 2000 before installing 2k2.I tried deleting the gauges the readme says to delete, and reinstalling, but, well, no dice. They show up in VC mode though!Any help appreciated.Andrew

In light of a recent event, I want to step up and say Thank-you for your work, your efforts, your support, and your dedication - all for no financial gain, for sponsoring my FlightSim Flight Deck site hosted by AVSIM.Without you I would be paying a large chunk of change that I do not have, so I do greatly appreciate the cost to you, and the effort to support all the partner sites like mine.Thank-you again. Please keep the faith and chin up and all that good stuff.I was going to name the topic "Bye Bye AVSIM" just to keep the joke running, but this seemed too important for that. Would've confused too many people anyway...after reading this, they would have just thought: …

Enough with the locked threads already, take the week off and find something else to get overworked about ... CFS3 will be out and it will probably not be perfect and FS 2004 will follow and it will not be perfect and so on and so on ...Reality is a few hundred thousand dollars, buy your own plane and fly it ... then you can complain to Cessna/Beachcraft/etc about their flight dynamics not being accurate enough for your taste or their manuals being too small or their service guides being inaccurate or light on detail :-lolRay

Like many of you, I have spent quite a bit of time trying to find frame-rate friendly AI aircraft for FS2002. For those that are interested, I thought that I might share some findings. Maybe it will spur some feedback from those experienced FS2002 developers. When the fantastic work of the Project AI group is released, then much of this issue will probably be solved. But until then, here are some personal observations. As most people know, the number of polygons in an aircraft file, generally determines frame-rate efficiency (with the exclusion of texture issues and video RAM). I have always been a little suspicious of the statement

You read that correctly! I have solved the glideslope capture problem with the new autoland feature on the HGS. Version 2 of the HGS will have the ability to auto land any aircraft that uses the FS2002 autopilot; that includes the Dreamfleet 737-400. No more plumiting to the ground when in order to capture the glide slpoe and you can start out at any speed you want. I have demonstrated the new HGS autoland from 210 knots. The autoland will even crab into the wind like a real autopilot will and provides more accurate localizer guidance. If you are interested in beta testing please send me an email and/ or post a [email protected]. http://flightsimmers.net/air…

Before I formatted my harddrive and reinstalled windows, FS2002 gave me 30fps even though the sliders where maxed. I got around 18fps in London. Despite reinstalling all the drivers and downloaded the lastest drivers for my graphics card, I have a stuttering problem, every minute or so there are a series of stutters. The fps seem normal until this happens. In London the stutters happen very frequently and it is unflyable. I have already tried locking my fps at 15 and 20, but the stuttering still occurs. I have shut down all virus scanners etc before flying. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks, DavidSpecs:Athlon 1300256mb memory40gb hard-disk64mb Geforce 2 MX-400

IP Address is 145.112.50.65And no it is not an IP Address from my ISP Providor. They all begin with 24. :-)Hello,Well, I have been doing some research today after being the recipient of a targeted DNS ICMP Unreachable Attack. First off, here is the evidence I have accumulated. I use ZoneAlarm, and either this person is an IDIOT, or very smart. I have not decided yet. The first one was way back on:07-31-2001Here are the dates:07-31-200112-01-200102-13-200204-02-200206-03-2002By the way, the one today pushed me over the proverbial nice guy edge and I decided to act. :-)I have been pretty resilient to these types of things as they occur, but alas, even I get bored wit…

I will be going to the UK for 6 weeks in early July from Australia - swapping houses with friends near Portsmouth Hampshire. I have been trying to find out if there are any events worth attending .NOW -- I find that the Farnborough Airshow is on!!!! EXCITEMENT!!!!!! I used to watch this show on B&W TV when TV first came out here to Brisbane Australia in 1956. Has anybody been to it? I can imagine that it must be VERY crowded -- has anybody got any advice for me? Our annual airshow at the RAAF Amberley airbase is absolutely packed - so I cant really imagine how busy this will be.Thanks barry

At most benchmarks, 64MB shows better results, but when AA activated and made at high resolution, 128MB shows better results. So, which one should I get for FS2002? Price is not a factor because there is only $20 difference between two of them.Any sugestions/experiences?Thanks in advance.

I have GF3 with DVI output, and when I use DVI to VGA adapter to connect2 monitors, both monitors just give me exactly same picture instead of one of them as 2nd monitor.I used to use PCI card as my 2nd monitor till I got the DVI to VGA thing, so I know how 2nd monitor in windows works.David (SD Sim) told me that in Ti4600, windows recognizes the DVI output as 2nd video card, and allows you to extend desktop.(which doesnt happen on my PNY Vetro GF3)If you have ti4200, and especialy PNY's one, and you have used DVI to VGA converter, and windows recognized the DVI output as 2nd monitor, and you are able to extend desktop on it rather than seeng 2 exactly same images on both …
