Is there any alternate FSD for both Beech Baron and Cessna 172. The default FS2002 FSD's feels a bit funny.thanxpluto168(kelvin)

A long while back i remember seeing a post dealing with the night sky in FS2k2. It enables a whole bunch more starts to be visible. However i recently formatted my HDD and forgot to backup (doh!). Anybody know the site that featured this download? thanks

hi allI have a F22X genius joy stick .when i calibrat it and start to use it the control in fs start shaking even i reduce the sensitivity to minimum why?

I have looked at the Official FlightMax web site and see nothing in the way of a download for the "Pre-Release 2" version shown on the Home Page of AVSIM.Am I just in the wrong place to get it, or are some signals crossed?

It seems like everytime I calibrate my saitek x36f with fsuipc, the rudder never works right (never get full rudder effectivness) and I always resort to FS2002 for calibrating.Any suggestions?

Today I downloaded the American airlines BAC-111 from Project Freeware. And I made a short hop in the aircraft. When I came in to land I decided to test the ailerons. What I got was quite a surprise! I applied right aileron and in a flash my aircraft was banked at 90 degrees! After that I completed the approach. But my ailerons were very sensitive to stick movement. Does anyone know if this is accurate or not???Thanks in advance. Grant Z.

Those of you using the B33 Deb-just to let you know the progress James (primarily) and I have made on the virtual cockpit-it looks to be coming along great -hoping for no more catastrophies this time on the vc.I'd also like to thank the hundreds who have taken the time to send emails.This is really the first big project we have done and I think we have been totally overwhelmed by the response. The avsim library shows 3296 for "sorry no longer available" which I believe was the first unpatched deb file I uploaded and 2947 for the current version-meaning 6243 have been downloaded since we released it!I think we all expected more like a couple hundred-never did we envision …

Hi,Is there any way I can alter the beacon/strobe lights on an FS2002 aircraft to flash quickly and more realisticly (as opposed to how the beacon turns on for 3 seconds, then goes off on some aircraft)? Is there a downloadable program or a way to modify the model? Thanks!zach

Okay, I reinstalled FS2K2, flew a flight no problem, till I was on the ILS to 9L at Heathrow with Gary Summons' scenery. Pressed pause to get something to drink and it froze. So I restarted, set it up on final and it froze again. Check out this pic of my sys info. is my problem right here. I'm showing some conflicts here, but I'm not sure how accurate this XP system information is. I've got 512 DDR RAM installed, it's only showing 384 RAM. How can I resolve these conflicts since it seems XP is automatically setting them up.

Before I reformat my hard drive and reinstall XP, can anyone think of why I'm freezing when getting close to the destination airfield? Doesn't matter what airfield I go to, default or add-on. In fact I set map view on a default airport, set me up on a 15 mile final, when I touched down, bam! frozen. I've gone back to the original VIA drivers, tried 29.40, 23.11 NVIDIA drivers, I've updated my Yamaha DSXG drivers, disabled the AC '97 drivers, took out my Yamaha sound card, activated the AC '97 drivers. I've set all my vid settings to basic and still fly till just shy of getting passed to approach or just after getting passed to approach, the sim freezes up. Please hel…

I know Garry Smith released a model which supported these new textures. Does anybody know how to make the non-reflective textures compatible with the other model so that only adding the alpha channel to the textures of Mike Stone's A320s , these will show with reflections?.:-( ...in case there is a way... perhaps it can't be done. :-(By the way, does anybody like my new signature... I just began yesterday, and I think I am beginning to learn soon... Thanks.
