I like it!!I'm a virtual cockpit "nut" & even fanatical sometimes! :) Hearing that the Flight One Cessna 421 was released, I wanted one! Then I heard reports ranging from an excellent virtual cockpit to other reports mentioning somewhat "fuzzy" gauges. Running on a 22" monitor in 1600*1200*32 resolution, defects seem to show up more than what you'll see on a 17" screen..... so I was a bit skeptical about the purchase.While now that I've bought this bird, I rank the virtual panel clarity nearly up there with the Dreemfleet Archer which is one of the best GA virtual panels I've run into. hi all i just bought the boxed version of airbus a320 and i installed it and i got an error message MSVCRT.DLL has caused an error please help i tried removing thr fs2002.cfg file but it did'nt work so i put it back please help me guys happy flying i'm running windows ME and directx 8.1

Well, I loaded a couple of AFCAD airports (DFW and CVG) and seem to have a problem. My AI airplanes are taxiing about 150 feet or so off course. They taxi in the grass, take off and land in the grass,etc at these two fields. Also my hot pink "follow me" truck (aka progressive taxi line) is also now off the taxiways.Of course, in my infinite wisidom, I didn't back up the old original files. Would a basic reload of FS2K2 be in order here? I could probably use AFCAD to redo the nodes etc but am not familiar with the program's details (yet). Thanks for any assistanceDave

Hi Jim,First I want to tell you that I love the 421c. Fantastic job to you and the rest of the team. I really feel like as real as it gets!The only problem I having is when using the GPS, FS keeps crashing.I re-compiled using the C421_BGL_Decompiler.exe without solving the problem. Hi all :-)I'm having some ground texture problems here in my FS2k2. I think that the pictures explain my problem better then my words can say, so here is two of them.The first one have in the center of pic some custom-made runway skid marks. Note how they behave: they keep flicking and tearing.The second one shows the same situation, ground textures, but this time the tearing-flicking does not occur.I suspect that might have some relation about how the ground texture is placed on scenario. The first one is a FS2000 scenery and the second is the UUDD scenery for FS2002. But I'm not sure of this since I've downloaded some "wanna-be-FS2k2-scenery" (I would like to put this w…

Hi... I tried using AFCAD, and I installed some airports as per the instuctions, and I expected to see a bustling airport full of aircraft, but instead I see no change? Can someone please explain to me how they get their airports full of traffic like I see in screenshots? Thanks in advance! PS Does anyone know how to Make FS2002 use my addon a/c with TTools short of actually going thru the flightplans one by one and changing the a/c #?

Does anybody else fly with these -- they came out fairly early on with the release of FS2002 and I have only just got around to flying them. They are great - wheel, ski and float. A really nice flight model and great for very slow flying. In fact, they have quickly become one of my favourites. Just wish they had a virtual cockpit.Barry

I've recently purchased the C421. Great plane by the way. I've notice some great repaints already showing up in the library. If any of you painters out there are wanting a livery suggestion for this aircraft, a Cape Air version would be greatly appreciated. Cape air flies C402s but they look very similar. Previously, hitting "W" cycled views of cockpit, no cockpit at all, and a row of guages. Now, it's just cockpit and nothing..where did my row of guages go? (all planes)

I'm missing around with some of my video settings and I was wondering if you can see the chrome and reflective textures during Dusk, Dawn and Night. The work fine in the day time. Is this normal or have I adjusted something out of whack.

how do you do a screen capture in fs2002,

Experiencing some C421 performance issues. On climb above 5000 performance deteriorates. At max power 39" manifold and props maxed producing about 2200 RPM. 500+ FPM airspeed below 100 kts. Initial planned FL230. Now level at 8000. 105 IAS, GS 122. Unable higher. Takeoff weight was about 7000 pounds. I've tried with and without FS Meteo as sometimes that will produce some goofy results. I must be doin somethin wrong.

The gauges are lit up in the 2-d mode. But, in 3-d mode, I cannot see a thing in the VC. I used the configure program to choose a light color, but can't see a thing, not even the "in-gauge" lights. Several people have told me that video card manufactures CAN identify if the card was damagged by overclcoking or not,and several other have told me the opposit.So which is it? Can the manufacture of video card identify if a card has gone bad because of overclking or sometihng else?Also, can you tell me the source of that info if possible? Hi GuysI think that I have seen a similar post to this before but because the problem did not affect me at that time I did not pay much attention :-(I am talking MSFS2k2. I use a CH 3 lever yoke and it usually gives no trouble. I have checked it out in Control panel and everything is set up ok. However the prop control is no longer giving full travel in the sim!! I am unable to do anything that will effect a cure and a return to normal operation (the downside is of course - not being able to get full rpm at t/o).I would be grateful for any suggestions.Happy landingsFrank
