A great add-on, but it says to install in "scenerydb/world/textures" and replace all the *.agn files. I can't find an *.agn file in any scnery..what did they mean?

Hi all,I can't get any of my aircraft doors to open. They worked fine about a week ago but I just can't get them to work now. The problem is present with all aircraft, default and addon. I know the key press is Shift-E +1/2 but nohing seems to work. I realy need this as I'm building an aircraft in GMax and I need the doors to work.Thanks a Lot.Skip

I have been using the AFCAD program to add gates and tracks to alot of the major US airports on my system. Im not creating any gate myself, just downloading and installing what others have made. When I see the diagram in the AFCAD program, it looks as if there will be planes all over the place. I have not added any additional ai planes since I thought the new tracks would just use the default Ai aircraft. Ive noticed that at most airports, I only have 5-6 large arcraft paked at the gates at any one time and maybe 4-5 GA aircraft. Is this normal or am I missing a step. I have my atc traffic set to max in FS2002. Any Advice?Rob

1. Is there a difference between "Local" and Global" downloads of Real Weather? The weather looks the same no matter which I choose.2. The weather information in the relevant windows such as wind direction, rain, cloud levels and so on seem to have no relationship to the Real Weather. Is that info available?3. I just bought Carenado's V35 Bonanza, and it is a beauty. I know Carenado got off to a shaky start, but for V-tail Bonanza lovers, this is a must have. First the lows (only one low)--the 3D cockpit is a bit crude compared to the very best, but the 2D panel is magnificent. The externals are absolutely at the very top--sharp and detailed (1280x 1024 resolution) and very faithful (very much like AOPA's prize craft this year). And what absolutely floored me is that they got the V-tail functionality right. When you give it "up elevator", both segments rise appropriately, but when you implement "rudder" actions, the segements move in opposition. And when you do a climbing…

This has been driving me nuts for some time. I've prowled the FS2002 cfg file for an answer to no avail. I have my default 737-400 spot view at 150 feet. It is automatically saved with my start up mode. However, after loading up FS2002, when I load a new aircraft the spot view automatically jumps to 262 feet or more. How do change that so that every plane loads in at the 150 feet default?Lee

It was mentioned that if you buy the red/blue glasses, then change the colours to RED/BLUE, as the default colours that the stereo driver has, as default CYAN/RED. You can costumise these colours, depending on the colours you are using for your glasses.And yes the default is RED/CYAN, but I keep the default colour scheme because with the default you do not lose natural colour. I did once try to change the default to RED/BLUE, but found I lost a lot of natural colour, and everything had a purple tint to things.My advice to anyone using the RED/BLUE combination is don't change the colour, but leave the default colour scheme as it is to let the natural colours thorugh, else …

One of the first flights, after installing FS2002, took me over Vegas at night and I was impressed by the fireworks.Later, when I went to show a friend this, nothing!?Are they keyed to a date, such as the 4th of July or did I mess something up somehwere?I've added so many add-ons and files to this sim since first getting it that nothing would surprise me.Regards,Heather

I seem to have hit a limit on the number of entries I can have in the Scenery Library. I can add no more than 331. I can still add new entries, but they do not show up on the list accessed within the program. However, they do show up in the scenery.cfg file, but the numbering is all messed up. For example, when I realized my entries weren't showing up in the program's list of scenery, I opened the scenery.cfg file and saw that I had entries through Layer 334, and then after Layer 334 several more Layer 332 entries. Can anyone tell me what's going on and if there's a workaround for this problem. Thanks. BTW, I haven't been able to tell if the Layer entries numbered above 3…

When is the A340-600 going to be released? I heard it's supposed to be better than any payware one availible. Are there any preview pics?

What are the increments for the pushback gauge used in the ERJ 145 and other cockpits?I've tried several settings and they all seem different.I have been using the first one(7:00) position and it seems to give me different distances for different panels.Are the increments in feet?Thanks,Ron

Ok In tweaking the thrust settings for the dreaded taxi speed fix I did something dumb I guess, now things are really porked. Would anyone be willing to send me a copy of the default air file and probably should get the config file too. I DO own the aircraft legitimately, I just hosed the files in tweaking and didnt back them up.This is for The Cheyene 400 from FSD.Hornit

Dear Mike ,I have just downloaded an A320 model vers 2 (the livery was iberia) which I think is a big improvement on the last albeit the liveries of my huge Mike Stone A320`s library will have to be redone but I think it`s worth it.Thank you.My question is the nightlighting, as the model is Gmax is it possible to get a one file fits all a la def 737,777 etc.As I feel the very varied nightlighting repaints are the only thing that let your other wise superb models down IMHO I hope you don`t mind me asking publically and looking forward to the Beech!

Well if you look at the screenshot, I think you can figure out what the problem is... :-eekI was just flying around in the area when I noticed a plane, which was flying right into the sea, then it dissapeared. Shortly after, another one came and did the same thing, so I take a screenshot of it.Both planes were Northwest, and I believe they are Mike Stone's A320. Does this plane not work as AI traffic? If it does not, what A320 should I use instead?
