I want to make it so the spot plane defaults to 150 ft distance from some planes because on some it is just way too close. How do I do this?

Just wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a decent F-16 panel for FS2K2. I have a good flight model w/ Mike Hambly's sound, but so far, every F-16 panel offering I've seen seems pretty weak.J

Congratulations to Project AI on their release. It's been a long time in coming, and they've dropped a doozy on us. Now, I'm not too keen on the self-install, that's no problem, I'd like to keep my traffic.bgl, so I'll be individually adding these aircraft. From the download page, they look fantastic, but as the wife is hogging my sim computer, I haven't been able to see yet. What I can say, and foresee, is a huge explosion of repaints, without the self-install programs and the flight plans. I for one, use the worldai flight plans, it works great for me. I read the key commands in FS2002 about opening doors other than the main exit, but I can't seem to get them. I know the main exit is ctrl+shift+e and to open the other doors is the same command, but to quickly press the number of the door. When I try this, I get all the other bits'n'pieces of the main panel, but never the doors. Is there a specific way to do this? Or am I doing it wrong?Thanks,GrzesP.S. Several weeks ago the Reality XP people released some juicy details about an update for Reality XP. Among them, the database was to include protected airspace, etc. Shortly after that I saw pics from some of you, who I assume are beta testers. Do you follow the checklist for startup procedures?4? Do you do a piston engine warmup and check magnetos and carb heat (if part of your panel setup) before taking off in a piston engine plane?5. Hey Guys,This problem has been occuring since my old video card was in my machine (voodoo3 2000 PCI). So I purchased a new GF3 TI 200 64MB, and the problem continued. So I formated, bought XP, and started from scratch. Problem continues. I am able to use flight sim for roughly 3-10mins before it locks up. And when I mean locks up, I mean, I am unable to ctrl-alt-del to end the program, and I am also unable to move my cursor. The current sound that was playing prior to, and right before the lockup is quickly repeated over and over in my headphones. So im having a complete system lock up, and my HDD light is not lit. Only way to get out of FS2K2 is to just restart. …

I've noticed that several airports have "XBero" after thier name.eg:TsuikiXBero (RJFZ)I only started noticing this recently, and not all airports have it. I've altered AFD entries using AFCAD and FSNav DB, so maybe that has something to do with it. Has anyone else seen this?- Martin

There is also a pretty cool new product called FSNAT makes it possible for any user to script highly detailed movements such as doors opening, car wheels turning or luggage conveyor belts dynamically transferring their cargo to the luggage hold. When I first got FS2002, I was haveing a problem with the hat switch, in that it would not pan a view. I have set it to pan-a-view in the assignments menu, but I am still only getting still views. I had it working at one time, but since reformatting, can't find the post and still can't figure it out. Please help! Thanks

Hi, I've recently decided to try to add Southwest to the list of callsigns that ATC will use when comunicating. I've read a how-to posting and followed it word-for-word, but when I get to the part of running the Vpedit program and selecting the language, there is nothing in the drop down menu to pick from. I've heard that it requires the latest version of IE and I have a new computer with v 6.0 on it so it should work, but doesn't. Does anyone know what might be the problem? I've also heard of a voice pak file adding Southwest that can be downloaded, but I can't find the link, does anyone know?Thanks,Kevin
