It was announced today in Milwaukee that Midwest Express Airlines will change its name to Midwest Airlines. An updated paint scheme will also be introduced just prior to the Feb. 2003 debut of their Boeing 717s.Research indicated that travellers unfamiliar with the "Best Care In The Air" airline, which flies throughout the US, perceived the airline as a regional. Removing the "Express" from the name should refocus the brand identity.The stylized "ME" on the vertical fin will be replaced with an artisitc design. in real life if you have the brakes set say at 2 for a dry landing, arent the reverse thrusts supposed to deploy as soon as the a/c touch the tarmac?if so why dont they work in fs2002? why do i have to press the F2 key to deploy them manually?is there any planes out there with this feature?

Anyone tell me if this is correct? I know that a lot of FS2002 is loaded to memory when running. If the entire FS2002 folder was in memory, would FS2002 run better?If so, one could get Xp, at least 1024megs of RAM, create a RAM disk, and then install FS2002 into the RAM disk drive. All in the RAM drive will be loaded to RAM when the computer starts.Just an idea! dek

When I boot into Fs2002 I get an error message that read mdlfix_win2k.dll. It ask me if I want to use it or not. I always say yes because I do not know what this file does. I tested to start FS2002 in Windows98 compatibility mode and everything worked fine, those panels that don't work with normal mode works like they should. Speed and graphics are as good as normal.Here's how to access a program's Compatibility Mode in XP: 1.Find the executable(FS2002.exe) or program shortcut icon.2.Right-click the icon and select Properties.3.Click the Compatibility tab and place a checkmark next to the text labeled "Run this program in compatibility mode."4.Select Windows98/WindowsMEI hope this will help.

Caveat: programming my VCR and doing some stuff with macros is about the limit of my experience.The aspect that is wrong is that when the prop lever is pulled back on one of the constant speed planes, the fuel flow shoots up. This shouldn't happen, as the pistons are turning slower and less fuel/air is coming through the induction system. Over on a simflight.com FAQ it says that this is in fact correct performance, but this contradicts real life and logical evidence.Where is the data that governs engine performance found? Is it feasible to manipulate it?Thanks in advance.

I went to see wahts happening on the Project AI Home front and I go to the Forums page and the Forum for the Ai Planes is all gone! DELETED! All they have left is the Forum for Ai Airport Gates! What Happened?? Di some Jerk Hack the Forums over there??? Or did they close it Intentionally? I wanted to say Thank you to the team for updating the MD-11's to get them to show up as Ai Traffic! I've decided to stick with one aircraft type for a while. I'm on the lookout for a FS2002 767 series aircraft that will keep me busy for a while. It looks like POSKY is the dominant freeware 767 author out there. The visuals are good but the flight model is very questionable. Any ideas?
