I have done multiple fs installations, tried full, custom etc. and right after it finishes the loading process, i get the following wrror message: "Scenery read error Attempting to open a nonexisting directory, Click ok to continue" No mattre what type of installation I do, i get it. this is what it looks likethanks for the helpCarlos

I know FS Flightmax features Wx radar, but that's suited more for GA type aircraft. I was just wondering if anyone has a guess for when we might see Wx radar in the place it's found in heavy jets--that being on the navigation display in the glass cockpits. Is any development under way for this? If not, when do you think we'll start getting that feature?Tim

Here is a bit of my homemade FS2002 FPS benchmark I am playing with:Been tweaking my new system ( and transfering all my addons/downloads ). Trying for better FPS I have gone thru setting by setting. I used Airport 2.6 for creating new airports in FS2000 but will it work in FS2002 and if so what build do I need. ThanksCOPKSPI

Events: Downloaded and installed the Varig DC-10 (.exe) and TU-95 Bear (.zip).Started FS2K2 and a message appeared on screen stating that thirdparty software was detected that may interfere with the program.The offending file was identified as GAUGESGPS.GAU.I continued to let FS load to see what would result: after keying theGPS icon for each aircraft the GPS box with a black background displayed but did not contain any data. I closed FS,went to the Gauges file and removed GPS.GAU. RestartedFS (the third party software message did not appear this time) but the same black screen (without data) resulted for all aircraft afterkeying the GPS icon again!Anybody have any thou…

Hello, Since a few days FS2002 Pro refuses to move (drag) the GPS, ATC, Radio stack , ... windows from one place to an other place on the screen, this for all aircrafts. When I select the window and drag it I see the contours moving , when I release the button the contour goes back to the initial place and the window did not move. I cannot find what I did change to have this reaction Any recommendation? Thanks in advance

Hi there,I have just finished formatting the hard disk and doing a fresh install and for some reason or other the updated airfile for the Baron I backed-up on a CD cannot be read.Would any one be kind enough to email this file should you have it at:[email protected] think the author of the file was Steve Small most probably.Thanks very much for your help coz as usual the things that you do not want to go bonkers will do....and this aircraft was a love to fly however the airfile surely must be updated.Awaiting help from anyone.Regards,Emann.

Well I'm sort of embarassed here. After adding lots of aircraft to my copy of FS2K2, I'm stumped regarding the install of the Falcon 50. The readme advised against a manual install, but I don't see any .exe icon to run an auto install.The downloaded file has 3 folders to it; Aircraft, Modules, and Gauges. Do these all go into one folder in the Aircraft folder of the sim? Or do I have to seperate them and put them into different default folders within the aircraft file of the sim?And what about the sound? The readme says the Falcon uses the Lear 45 default sound. So do I just copy the Lear sound folder over to the Falcon's folder?I know this is simple stuff to the vets her…

I've managed to get an ADF display and an ADF receiver to show up on the panel of the C421 Golden Eagle with a bit of work in the (free version of) CGFedit and some cutting and pasting.The thing is that the receiver turns on with the battery and not the avionics bus switch, and the ADF display sits there doing nothing.What do I need to do to:-1) Get the ADF display and the receiver coupled?2) Make it so that it's plugged into the avionics bus?3) Make it so that the ident works with the audio selection panel?Thanks in advance.

Hey everyone...is there anyway to get the auto pilot to navigate of the GPS?

I'm trying to build up a good cross section of the best planes (freeware or payware). So far I've got the Real Air replacement files for the 172, DF Archer II, C421, and Falcon 50. I'm pleased with these and would like to expand my collection to the soon-to-be-released DC-3 (By Jan Visser) as well as ANY good FS2002 Comercial Airliner. Trouble is, there seems to be a vacuum of jets for FS2002. Can anyone recommend something good? I tend to shy away from the "modern look" of the A320 and am wanting the most real experience I can get flying a 727, 747, etc. that's made for FS2002. My joy is flying the classic birds. DC-3, DC-4, the Connie, etc., etc.Working with a completely separate installation of FS2002, besides being one huge project, how difficult would it be to recreate the United States and airspace of 1960?I'm talking about removing airports that weren't there. I just bought the PSS Airbus base pack but my parents would not allow me to get any additional liveries because they cost extra. And the only free liveries you can download are European except the Jet blue. i would like to know if anyone could do a repaint of the A320 in AmericaWest colors? I would be much obliged!!:D

During the initial phases of the install when the three activity bars appear on the lower left after a few of the usual setup screens, I receive an "installation cancelled" message. No reason given.
