I know this has been addressed before, but how do you keep ATC from calling your aircraft "Experimental?" I have tried changing atc airline and atc id and nothing seems to work. I want to use "Citation." I am using a FS2000 aircraft that I modified for FS2002. Thanks for your help!Airbus

The story goes that this doctor had problems starting his aircraft -It had a dead battery. So with ignition on, a little choke and brakes "off" he attempted to start the aircraft manually, i.e. swinging the prop. She started OK, but since the brakes were off the craft got away from him. At high taxi speed it cleaned up about six light aircraft belonging to alocal flying club. The attached shows the last aircraft that the 'run-a-way' attacked. Come to think of it, I haven't seen better slices in a loaf of bread. The damage was just under 2 million dollars.BobG

Greetings,I'm having a problem with FSNav. When I right click to "move the aircraft to here" to another runway, the icon that represents the planes goes crazy and moves all over the map. It moves the plane all over the map except where I want it to go. The only way to get out of it is to restart FS2002. I've used FSNav a long time and this is something new to me. I did install it to my new PC with XP on it. However, it worked fine up until tonight. Anyone have any idea what this may be?Thanks Hans Groenewold

...i'll ask here an info on AI aircrafts.Is it normal that all of them don't show lights? strobe, nav, and so on? Mines really don't show lights at all :-(Thanks in advance for helpingLuigi ;-)

Hi friends,can anyone help me?In FS Panel Studio (Build 8087 - April 2002) i select a gauge and edit its bitmaps using PSP v6.Once saved bmp's i have to save gauge but suddendly FSPanel Studio tells me that it's not possible to save the gauge because it's used by another application!?!?! Never been able to enjoy to change any gauge. Can anyone talented please explain what's wrong with that procedure?Thanks in advanceLuigi ;-)

We have had some of the best minds in our hobby working on it since the release of FS2k2 and no one has gotten anywhere with being able to add/replace the default road/river data with more acurate data (hint) that matches the new and much better mesh scenery (throw in coastlines too). It really is a shame to have such accurate terrain and then have to see a river not follow its actual "path" in the terrain through the whole scenery and then of course flying through familiar areas where the roads are lacking as to real or accurate placement just blows it etc. etc.Would be real nice if "we" could start working on this..hint, hint! :)Please MS, help us out here! hint hint.He…

I mail-ordered the DF Archer last week, and I have one question before it arrives: Does it require pro gauges (IFR, Beech Baron, and 208B, to be specific)? I have the standard edition (given that I found Mooney, King Air, and King Air Radio gauges on other sites), and want to know before I get it. Thanks for any help.

I just read on the PSS Forum that the Boxed Edition of PSS777 PRO is now available for Downlaod on the JUSTFLIGHT Web site! I dunno what else this patch Updates but it is like a 10MB Downlaod!! I am going to check it out now, as I only have the Boxed edition of PSS with the orginal panel, I did not get chance to buy new one yet! Well just letting you guy's know the heads up! MIKE.

Can anyone help before I do a complete O/S un- and install? I have been using a GF3 Ti200 and switched it to a GF4 Ti4600 card.Everything was nirvana until I decided to uninstall NVMax and install and use the GeForce Tweak Utility. I made a backup of my registry, and created a new set point (WinXp). Read the help and started tweaking. Lost 10 FPS and gained a lot stuttering! Opened the utility and set to pre settings. Uninstalled the utility. No help, still a loss of 10 FPS. Used NVMax, no help. Reset registry, back to system set point, new install of 4in1 drivers, and a fresh install of the video drivers. Was wondering if anyone has additional information on the release date of the Jan Visser DC-3 with the Virtual cockpit for FS2002?As a mature and aged flight sim pilot, I should be able to contain my emotions better.....but it is hard to do while waiting for this release!Regards.

I got the program installed, after a slight tune up of my computer by the shop. And I know it will run because I loaded up the default Meigs Field. Unfortunately, I never had time yet to actually take a flight!!! Then I wanted to update my video card (currently using a TNT2Ultra 32 mg card) and the computer kept choking -- it wouldn't install the drivers for it. After much gnashing of teeth and pulling of hair, I discovered my MB did not support the 2x AGP card.....DUH! So I've just purchased a new MB with a 4x AGP slot (and no, I'm not telling what kind of MB I got because I don't want to hear "Oh, that's a terrible brand ... you should have bought 'Brand X'" or var…

Hey guys,A little while ago there was a particular sight that was home to a number of airline flight plan schedules ready to be imported into the flight plan file after decompiling the traffic.bgl with ttools.Alas the person that made those plans is no longer with the community. Hi All, Does anyone have a clue how to inegrate the PSS 777 panel with the POSKY 777. I have noticed poor performance in the cruise and also poor performance in the approach mode! None of which is present when using the PSS model. However the PSS aircraft really kills the frame rates. When 767PIC came out the same problems were experienced and some kind peolpe did some work to mould the POSKY aircraft with the PIC panel. Has it been done this time for the 777?
