I have added use_no_default_bank=1 to air cfg and I still can't manually turn the plane even when autopilot is in standby mode.I have read previous posts and can't find answer.Also I have no nav or strobe lights.Landing lights work.Thanks for any info.Love this plane.Ron

just wanted to say to those who have some extra money in there pocket and want to expand their sim experience the 3d glasses and the TrackIR (which follows your head movement so you dont have to use your pov hat switch) is well worth the money. Its not for maybe slower computers and not for every flight but the stuff works great and I am hooked. TrackIR works best for me once Im off the ground all the way up to final. It makes VFR flying seem 100% better. Mainly because once your in cruise you instruments arent something you need to stare at. Without Track IR you do little sight seeing but with it your always scaning and not sure on how t works on other systems but on…

I only have three words for you all: get it now!This is the best FS2002 GA plane I've ever flown. Not only it looks fantastic, it flies like a dream, the autopilot/GPS is excellent.With this plane, Flight1 raised the bar for the FSim GA aircraft as much as PIC did it for the heavies. I would like some help to find out how to have an airport use a different runway. KGRR only uses the East west and not its North South, no matter what the wind direction is. Can some one help me to change this problem. Please e-mail me with the answer if you have one. [email protected]

Hey guys, will you please stop saying things like "I get 30-40 FPS....".This is absolutely meaningless unless all of your settings and hardware are known. If I turn all of the sliders down I can get over 100 FPS!Sorry, just a little request to clear things up.dek

Started installing a lot of download this morning of the "Scenery" category. Many of these required the use of AFCAD and Traffic Tools.Everything was going fine after a small period of learning curve. AFCAD works beautifully and TT was doing just fine too.Took a break to go outside and mow the lawn. When I came back in, I decided to tidy up my folders somewhat and put all of my Flight Sim utilities, like AFCAD, TT, FSBoarding, etc., into a single folder called FS Utilities.Made new shortcuts for my desktop.Now Traffic Tools will not work. Wowzer! Just trying out a new 512mb stick of Corsair XMS3000.She's up to 188FSB at Cas2!!! Thats 10x188. Not to shabby, I have to admit I didn't really expect to run much higher than 180 at Cas2 so I am pleased! How hard would it be to swap out the fixed card ADF's in the standard MS2002 Aircraft and put in an RMI instead?

Is there a way to turn runway lights "on" at small airports in 2K2? (or are they always "on" if they have any?)

I would like to start my flight at a parking spot, or gate. However, when I load a flight plan into MS flight planner to use the MS GPS, the flight plan always starts at the end of a runway, which is silly. I have tried to edit the flight plan with Notepad to change the start position, but then the plan will not load into MS-flight planner. Help......Does someone know how do start a flight plan at a parking spot? If I can't do it through MS-GPS and MS-flight planner, what FMC should I use to replace the MS-GPS??

hi when ever i try to land i have the ils captured however i have problems with the glidescope, i was landing into 28R KSFO and the plane didnt hold on to the glidescope, i was in an A330, i have had this problem on numerous occasions,has anyone solved the problem?thx!

Been using 2002 for IFR practice and I would love to be able to do some GPS approaches. The stock gps in 2002 cant really do that. Any add ons that will let me do this?

All b33 Deb pilots-Reality XP has once again come through and is right now uploading a fixed stec 50 autopilot for the B33 Debonair to the avsim library.This fixes the beeping/disconnect problem of the first version. In addition now-to use the bank knob you can right click on it or left click to turn it-a cool feature. It is also more stable with altitude hold (which is a problem with fs2002).It is a small file-requires you only copy it to your gauge folder and replace the old one-and add two lines to your aircraft.cfg.Enjoy-and thanks again to Reality Xp for saving the day and their wonderful contributions to this project. I have a very big problem with my fs2002 (pro).It started a few days ago.It was all ok but now I don't hear the voice of a pilot,I don't hear air trafic control (I can see the window and messages but I don't hear them) and all aircrafts are either not to hear or have the sound of cesna.I have not instaled anything lately.I tried to reinstall but the problem is still there.If that can help I installed some time ago nvidia detonator (driver for my geforce 2 mx/mx400 64mb for windows xp),but fs2002 was functioning good also after that).I don't know what to do.Please can somebody help me.Flying without sound is just NO FUN.I checked everything in fs2002 settings and there is …

Here is my heart-wrenching dilemma (maybe not that dramatic, but I'm sure you know what I'm feeling), I have a fairly high-end system and my FPS are just CRAP. I'm getting about 7-10 FPS on the ground (external view) in Hawaii with nothing in the background. I have tried several different drivers for my card and I seem to averaging around 10 -15 FPS. I sometimes actually RARELYget to 25 FPS when I pan around the aircraft with nothing but sky in the background. Could you guys offer some tips or sites that may help me tweak my PC? Hi there,I just recently started using RealityXP's great GPS and then today the beautiful Flight1 C421. Interestingly on both GPS systems FS2002 hangs up whenever I have extensive access to the database (i.
