Hi Simmers,I have a PFC Flight Control System, and can't get any of my throttle quadrants to work with the subject aircraft. This is the first 3rd party aircraft to give me any problem when using the PFC System. Need some help please.Regards,Layabout

I just got past by a 737 on final. I was on final in 172 I was 2nd to land, there was a aircraft on the runway. A thrid aircraft a 737 announce he was 6 miles on final on the ILS ( he was behind me). ATC told him he was third in line for the approach after the 172 (me). There was the 737 passing me and landed. I am glad our real ATC and pilot do not act like this or we would have mid air all over the country. I've recently purchased Microsft Flight Simulator 2002 Pro Edition and am having trouble with it. One of the main reasons I purchased it was the inclusion of audio ATC and was eager to get it working. However, after installing the game I cannot get ATC working. All other sounds play perfectly but I can get no ATC sounds. This is even the case when I turn their density up to full and request weather info (which I believe should start a voice up). While attempting to play any of the wav files in the sound directory with WinXP I get the message "codec not installed". Note that this doesn't happen in the subdirectories.I have tried uninstalling the sound codecs within WinXP…

I have a Gigabyte GeForce3 Ti500 video card. It came with 21.85 drivers which I am using. At the Gigabyte site they list only the 21.83 drivers as WHQL certified. I have been getting gdi, g2d and g3d errors lately. Does anyone else have this card, and if so, what drivers have you found to be the best? I am running an Athlon 1700+ in a Gigabyte GA-7DX motherboard. I see a lot of messages about the 28.32 and 28.31, and 29.42 drivers. Any help sure would be appreciated. Thanks, regards, Bob.

Does the video driver really make that much difference in getting the "blurries" ? I had a good setup (550 MHz, 512 MB, GeForce2 with 32 MB) with 23.11 drivers, upgraded to 28.32 by one of those automatic "software update" programs, and now I can't fly even the 172 over fairly simple landscape with getting the blurries very bad.Any comments (and yes, I am going back to the older drivers)?

Hey thereIs there any way to make the MSFS2k2 draw clouds out to a more impressive distance? Say I'm flying at 8000msl, above a bkn-7/8 cumulus layer with tops at 6000msl. I only get reasonable looking cloud for a couple of miles ahead, even if the weather ahead is set the same or worse, giving the (false) impression that I could just push on a couple of miles and be in the clear. Similarly, it won't even draw ANY clouds out to the sides. I have cloud density set to max, and most settings turned up pretty high... have to actually fly to left or right of track to make the sim draw clouds in either direction.I have fooled with FSUIPC, and got the hang of pulling the sur…

Ok, I need some help here. If anybody has had similar probs I'd love to know what is going on. Here's the situation.I'm nearing the end of an hour long flight. I'm on final into Nassau International, and about three miles out, the screen goes dark, then I get these coloured vertical lines on my primary monitor. The secondary monitor is fine. Still have FMS and radio panel up. This is not the first time this has happened.
