Hi guys,One more question (I hope :-)). For some reason, on my system, the prop rpm averages around 2600 rpm with the throttle at idle. As I increase throttle, the rpm slowly drops back into the normal range and then increases with power as I would expect it to do. It's not a big deal - the aircraft "acts" like it's idling and the Manifold Pressure is down where it should be - I'm just curious if anyone else is experiencing the fast prop. This may be due to my setup (I dimly recall changing my throttle sensitivities back when FS2002 first arrived to "fix" some of the idling characteristics of the default aircraft), maybe my throttle tweaks confused the Deb's prop control.…

I just re-formatted my harddrive, installed windows XP, and got the new XP drivers for my GeForce 2 32 mb card. I have a AMD Athalon 1000Mhz, with 224 mb of ram. There is hardly anything on my harddrive. I am also using a Soundblaster live value card. My problem is, in FS2002 Proffesional, is I have these little stutters, I have about 45-50 for my framerates, but when I turn, it's like Im stuttering along, it's not smooth at all, I turned down everyslider and had around 80 Fps, and still, they were there, so then I turned down the Virtual cockpit gauge setting, and the stutters decreased quite a bit, any other suggesions on how to get stutters out of there, they are d…

I puchased World Sim American Airline at Software ETC in December. The box had a label on it that said it would work with FS2002. When I open the bos I found that it was a FS2000 airplane and no where did it have a patch for FS2002. I checked there web site and found that it will be updated in the future. That was in December. I tried to return the software but they would not take it back because I opened it. I emailed World Air Sim and asked them what was up. The email stated they did not place the label on the box stating it would work with FS2002. To this day there has not been a patch for FS2002 and I have a usless $20 airplane. I just saw the announcement on the front page of Avsim about their Porter for MSFS2002, and I went to their website.In their upcoming release, they will be giving us a FREEWARE T-38 Talon for MSFS2002. :-)I think it's great when commercial developers give us a Freeware aircraft once in a while. Hi friends,jumping here directly from screenshots forum for asking:what does this mean?What you see is Madeira island in the Atlantic with default scenery and textures; as you can notice water is climbing over the cliffs.Is there a way to get a decent effect over there? I posted my "solution" to freezing problems, and also mentioned my "solution" to the white out of my ground.Pride is a killer.The next time I fired up FS, the ground was sky colored again. I am thinking of getting this module and have just tried the demo version. As it is pouring with rain in Perth WA I download the weather but I got the rain with nice clear sky? Strange!!Anyone else have this problem?regardsRichard

After having extreme frustration with the captions in FS2000 (I'm hearing-impaired), I finally brought fs2002pro, I'm enjoying it tremendously. This one rocks... so easy to follow everything so far.I do, however have one problem. 3 craft that came with the game:De Havilland Dash8_100MD 83 (Mcdonnell-Douglas/Boeing MD 83)PA 28-180 (Piper Cherokee 180)Are not being recognized in the list of aircraft. They came with the game, shouldn't Fs2002 be listing them? I have 3 other aircraft I've installed using Addit Pro, I have no problems whatsoever with them at all. It's the ones listed above I got problems with. Any fixes for this?

Hi All,Anyone know if there is a way to prevent FS from minimizing when another app is selected? I know there is an option to prevent the sim from pausing, but I havent figured out how to keep it maxed.Reason I ask is because I have some project magenta panels I want to run on a second monitor (like the FCU), but whenever I click on the FCU, FS itself disappears.Thanks for any helpRegardsDave T

...but I'm not the only one.With the release of all the new SDKs, how close are we to being able to hear voices with British, Australian, Japanese, etc. accents?? To me this would add a whole new dimension to FS2K2 ATC. Hope this is even a possibility.....I hope some day you'll join us - and the world will live as one.

I've tried the voice command programs-wife gets irritated-I don't like wearing the mike and the fact that it doesn't always work.I also don't like typing on the keyboard while simulating-the yoke puts the keyboard in an terrible place.Now comes along the atc panel concieved by Bob Familton and done by Bill Morad. The answer!Click on the icon and a pop up of numbers (in the bottom left side on my panel) to answer atc with a click of the mouse-not unlike clicking your mike button in the real world.Very elegant and exactly what at least I wished for.Thanks for the great job!http://members.telocity.com/~geof43/geofanim2.gif

Please excuse my ignorance -- I'm not really into commercial aircraft - but I'm learning.I have a nice Avro RJ85 aircraft - and a panel that says it is suitable for an Avro RJ85 and a BAE146. I also have a really good panel (supposedly) for a BAE146.The first panel quotes this "BAe 146-200 - Four 31.0kN (6900lb) Textron Lycoming ALF 502R5 turbofans. RJ85 - Four 31.0kN (6970lb) AlliedSignal LF 507 turbofans."So my question is -- is an Avro RJ85 the same aircraft as a BAE 146??Barry

Dear Members, I am, currently runnig Fs2000,due to pc low resources.MY PC consists of PIII 800,256 MB ram and a GEforce2 Mx400 Video Card,and with a Yamaha Audio Card (OPLSA).I am having problems,with RW.When I start RW only and do the test ( Wav sound) I hear myself very good,And when I use Rw with my FS2000 and make the same tests,I am hearing an echo.I tried as well direct sound but it was all for nithing ( altough i noticed that the recording device has like this ( emulated).One thing the for any reason I used Wav format the Playback device and recording device had this (emulated) the sound came good in fs2000.Could someone please help me as I am in a big …

I would like to know if someone think that is possible to add ATC to aircraft carrier. I download last carrier package that was improved with bgl file that allows to find carier in gps. I was able to open this bgl file with AFCAD and I added the com frequency but I have not still comunication with tower. Any suggestion?Thank youCiaoClaudio

I had another scare with my computer last night... I was messing around with my VCore settings and moving my RAM to different slots, trying to see how far I could push my FSB... I got to 155MHz and then POOF! Display goes out and I couldn't see anything on my monitor until I got into Windows. Ok, not a big deal, just bring the FSB back down to the (previously stable) 152MHz and reboot, right? Right, or so I thought... The monitor started acting a bit funny on me, clicking on and off several times before finally turning on (upon bootup) so I thought I would bring the resolution and color depth down and see if that helped. I know there is some demand for this stuff as we are all thirsty for new additions and old favorites. The site has been up for several days now and shows no signs of life when I attempt access. It seems there is an obvious problem with server bandwitdh at this time. Is the situation going to change anytime soon? Or is it just too early yet to try and get anything?? Gigabyte apparently has an Athlon Tbred 2200+ (1.8GHz) running at an insane 2.7GHz (not 2700+, actual 2.7GHz clockspeed)!!! http://thecoldshop.com/display.cfm?articleid=42&page=4 If people are actually able to o/c the Tbreds to 2.7GHz without some sort of exotic cooling setup, P4 will have a run for its money.
